Misaki's face was slowly becoming a darker shade of red as each second passed. When he felt Usagi nibbling on his lip, the brunette inhaled sharply and opened his mouth some to grant the older man access to his mouth before he couldn't think about it. His heart was racing and he could hear it pounding in his head. Normally he would have escaped this situation by now, but there was a part of him that was enjoying the attention. |
Usami smirked inwardly when he felt the other male open his mouth. He delved into the other's mouth, before Misaki decided that he wanted to change his mind. As he continued to explore the other's mouth he relished the sweet taste that was uniquely Misaki. Opening his eyes again he maneuvered the two of them so that Misaki's back was facing the bed. Walking forward he made the other sit down on the bed as he soon joined the other male as he continued to kiss the other male deeply.

Misaki could feel his knees going weak with each passing moment and he was finding it hard to form any coherent thought. What was it about Usagi that was making him feel like this? It was only when the brunette could feel the bed underneath him that snapped Misaki out of his daze. He blinked once before putting his hands on Usagi's chest and pushing so that there could be some space in between their bodies. "Usagi-san.. Wait a moment." he said, struggling to regain his breathing back to its normal rate.

Usami continued to kiss the other male as he continued to let his tongue explore the others mouth. He stopped though when he heard the other male tell him to wait. He also felt the other's hand against his chest as well. His first reaction was to continue with what he was doing, and completely disregard what the other had said. He then decided that he would not go down that route, since he wanted the other's first time to be both memorable and loving. Pulling away form the other male he looked at him wondering what the other was going to be saying.

Misaki took a moment to slow down his breathing back to a normal rate. His heart was still racing though and he knew that there was a dark blush on his face. He was glad that Usagi listened to him and actually stopped, even though there was a part of him that thought that the older man wouldn't listen. The brunette drew in a shaky breath once he was sure that he could actually speak. "Don't.... Don't you think this is going too fast?" he asked, voice quiet. Misaki was finding it hard to look at Usagi directly, so he just looked to a random spot in the room.

Usami heard what the other was saying, but he was finding it harder and harder to listen to the the other male. Gritting his teeth a little bit he looked at the other male, and said,"If you say we're going to fast I will respect that, but Misaki know that these are my true feelings. I will also never hurt you or turn you away." Knowing that the other male probably wouldn't want to continue this he debated on if he wanted to get up and just leave then and there. He knew that if he stayed two things were bound to happen. He would either take the brunette by force, or he would end up showing too much emotion. More emotion than he was comfortable showing to anyone.

Misaki was silent for a long moment, thinking what Usagi said. The brunette knew that there was no way that he was ready for this. After all, it wasn't as if they were even dating. Did he want to date the older man?.. Maybe.. But this wasn't exactly how he saw them. But the kiss that they shared had felt so good. There was no way to deny that. Misaki bit his lip lightly, not sure what he should do. He didn't want to go through this before he was ready, so he shook his head slowly. ".. I'm sorry Usagi-san. But I can't." he said, hoping that Usagi wasn't going to take this too badly.

Usami looked at the other male, confusion running through his own mind as he tried to think of something to say to the other male. The moment had been ruined for the two of them so there was no use in continuing, but he was still worried that he had done something wrong to the other male. He heard what the other had said. The others actions were completely contradicting to what he was saying. Usami was pretty sure that he knew the truth. Turning to the other male he looked at him and said," I don't think I am quite understanding what you are saying. While stopping and not pursuing this right now, I am still confused as to why you don't want this." He was trying to keep his emotions in check as well, but it was becoming harder and harder for him.

Misaki was silent for a moment, thinking. Why didn't he want this? It was true that he enjoyed being around Usagi, so why was this so hard? Right... Takahiro. Usagi loved him for years. How could he so easily move on? What if he was just using the brunette to replace those feelings. Misaki felt tears start to form in his eyes at the thought and he blinked quickly to get rid of them. It wouldn't do any good to start crying right now. He took a slow breath before looking at the older man. "I don't want to do this just to be some replacement for my brother for you." he said, mentally cursing himself when the sentence didn't come out as strong as he wanted. He just hoped Usagi didn't notice.

Usami listened to what the other male was saying, noting that there were slight tears brimming at the corner of the other's eyes. He narrowed his eyes a little bit, more out of concentration than anger as he didn't know what to say to the other male. Closing his eyes he thought again about what the other had said. How could Misaki think that he was a replacement for the other's brother. "Misaki," said Usami as he took the other male's face in his hands. "I don't want to replace you with someone else. I love you for you. You for being you, and not anyone else."

Misaki was silent for a moment, thinking over what Usagi had said. He wanted to believe what the other was saying, but he was finding it hard to convince himself. He took a deep breath to calm his nerves so that he wouldn't bolt from the room. "But... I don't understand..." the brunette said, thinking carefully how to word what he was going to say so that he didn't start crying. "You have been in love with Takahiro for years... How can you get over him all of a sudden?"

Usami continued to listen to what the other male had said as he tried not to roll his eyes at what he was hearing. How could the other male still think that he loved his brother over Misaki after all of the two of them had been through. Letting out a sigh he looked at the other male and said,"It was true that I was in love with your brother, but do you remember the last time that the three of us together, what happened when you left so quickly to get more champagne?" He wondered briefly if the other male knew what he was talking about.

Misaki was silent for a moment, thinking back. Was he talking about Takahiro's party?... Of course he was. That was the last time the brunette really drank champagne and even then, it was only one glass and that was only after he had begged his brother to let him have some. Misaki bit his lip lightly for a second before nodding slowly. "Yeah... I remember. I was upset because I thought Takahiro was being insensitive to your feelings.." he muttered.

Usami let out a sigh when he heard that the other remembered that memory. That would make his job a little bit easier. "Alright," said Usami. "You got upset for me and you cried for me." Usami thought about the memory a little more. How could he have been so easy to read? Was it really that obvious? He was also not going to hand Misaki the answer, he wanted the other male to come to a conclusion himself. "When we were outside, what happened?"

Misaki frowned for a second, thoughtful. Was Usagi asking him for details because the older man didn't remember?... Or was he just checking to see that the brunette knew what he was talking about? He thought about what happened next and a faint blush spread across his face at the memory. "Well.... I remember telling you that I couldn't stop crying once I started.... Then you kissed me.." he said, just saying the words causing the blush to darken some. "I was so surprised that I managed to stop."

Usami smiled again as he saw the other male begin to rake his mind for the memory that had happened less than a year earlier. He was missing one very important detail about what had happened though. He had missed the detail about what he had said to Misaki after he was done crying. Usami remembered that night in ever vivid detail. He remembered Misaki's brother's betrayal. In hindsight he knew that it had been for the best, seeing now that his younger brother was now living in his condo. He also remembered that the brunette had completely knocked down all of the other's mental barriers to his heart. He decided though that he wouldn't tease the other male anymore so he turned to him and said,"Yes that is all true, and during that time I told you that I knew you were the one because you were able to see me for the true person that I was. You cried for me, and for that I love you. I thought I had covered it up all those years, and to be honest, I was surprised that you were able to pick up on it so quickly. That is why I fell for you." He hoped that the other male still felt the same way about him now knowing the truth.

Misaki listened to what Usagi had said, his heart rate speeding up. He really, truly did want to believe what was being said, but he was finding it hard to. There was a small part of his mind that wasn't listening and was convinced on what it already thought. But since the part was so small, he was able to push it aside and he'd worry about it later. The brunette smiled lightly as a blush slowly spread across his face. "I'm really glad to hear that." he said, his voice quiet.

Usami knew that what he was saying was a little hard to believe. He was a little amazed himself that he had gotten that far with his story. He just hoped that the other believed him. He smiled though when he heard the other say that he was glad to hear it. He didn't know if the other was just saying that to make Usami quit his advances. However, for now regardless of what was going on he needed to stop his advances for the time being. He after all had a lot of work to do in the coming week, and he knew that the other would need to wake up for school the following morning. Looking towards the other male he leaned over and gently kissed the other on the cheek before he retreated. Getting up off of the bed he went to the door. "Good night, Misaki," said Usami as he walked through the door.

Misaki was relieved that Usagi had stopped his advances towards him and actually allowed him to get up. The brunette smiled lightly and headed out of the room. He paused at the door though and looked back at the older man. "Good night Usagi-san." he said before heading back to his room. He changed quietly into his pajamas and laid down on his bed. He laid there for a few moments, thinking about what had happened. A blush spread across his cheeks before he closed his eyes quickly to go to sleep.

Usami continued to walk down the hallway, but he stopped though when he heard the younger male's door open a little bit. Turning his head he smiled as he heard the other wish him a good night as well. It took all of his restraint not to run back towards the other male and embrace him so he just smiled at him and said,"and to you as well, Misaki." before turning around and going back to his room. Walking through the entrance of his room he closed the door with a soft click. Turning the light on he flopped onto his bed as he stared at the ceiling willing sleep to come his way, but he was sure that it would not come with his thoughts running rampant with emotions and thoughts.

Misaki probably laid there for about 15 minutes before sleep finally took hold of him. He tossed and turned a few times, only to get comfortable since he wasn't having any dreams, and woke up about 2 minutes before his alarm went off. The brunette sighed and switched it off before rubbing the sleep from his eyes. He made his way to the bathroom and got a quick shower before getting dressed for the day. He idly wondered what Usagi would want for breakfast as he headed downstairs. He wasn't really in the mood for anything too fancy, so he decided on just some french toast and bacon. That was easy enough to make. A smile formed on his face as he pulled on his apron and washed his hands before getting started on his task.

((Sorry that I have been taking so long to get back to my partners. In no way am I bored with any of them at all. I am just getting busy with being trained with a new job)).
Usami cracked his eyes open. His room was still rather dark. Glancing over at the clock he could tell that he would need to get up soon, but he just wanted to stay in bed. Why was he so tired? Was he depressed? Once the room came more into focus so did his hearing. He could hear the water running in the bathroom, and he knew that the other was taking a shower. Licking his lips he closed his eyes as he let out a sigh as he thought about what the other male was doing. He then opened his eyes wide as he sat straight up in bed as thoughts of what happened earlier the night before came flooding back to him. Getting out of bed he walked to his door and opened it. He could hear the other male making what he assumed breakfast downstairs. Letting out a sigh he made his way down the stairs and saw that Misaki was making breakfast. "Good morning," he said as he came to the kitchen, behind Misaki, and hugged the other one around the waist. |

Misaki thought that he heard the sound of Usagi coming down the stairs, but he wasn't completely sure. So he just passed it off as his imagination. He was close to finish cooking the food when he felt arms around his waist and the brunette froze. "Morning Usagi-san... Let go please. You might make me burn myself." he said, glad that he didn't end up stuttering as a blush spread across his face. He didn't know why, but he was extremely nervous and couldn't stop embarrassment growing in his stomach. He took a calming breath so that his feelings could go back to a more neutral feeling, hoping that the older man didn't notice. |
As Usami continued to hold him he heard the other say that he was worried about getting burned. He rolled his eyes a little bit when he heard this, and leaned over as he turned the heat off of the stove. He noted the nervousness in the others voice, but decided not to pay it any mind. "There now you won't get burned," replied Usami as he rested his head on the others shoulder. He knew that he wanted to kiss the other male, but he wasn't sure how the other would react. He wanted the brunette male to love him in return, so that meant that he didn't want to chase the other male away. Letting out a sigh he turned the heat back on the stove to where it was before as he let go of Misaki. Walking over to the table he sat down as he took a long inhale on the cigarette that he had just lit. Exhaling it he let his mind wander a little bit as he tried to figure out a way to remedy this problem that he had with the brunette.

Misaki didn't expect Usagi to turn the stove off... Wait. Scratch that. Of course he would. That seemed like something the older man would do. And even though he knew he wasn't going to get hurt, he couldn't help but shake the feeling he was going to end up hurting himself. The brunette nearly sighed in relief when the older man stepped away, but kept it in as he found himself missing the warmth from the other male's body. He nearly said something, but focused his attention on the cooking so he wouldn't have to think about the mixed feelings he was receiving. He finished up quickly and made them both a plate before going and setting one down in front of Usagi. "Here you go Usagi-san. I hope you slept well." is seat.
