Usagi looked at the brunette and nodded his head as the waiter brought over the bill and Usagi quickly signed the piece of paper and left them exact change as he stood up leaving the booth and heading out to his car. He still had work that night, and he imagined that he the brunette had homework to do as well.

Misaki waited quietly while Usagi payed for the food. He grabbed the book off the table as he stood up. He still had homework to do when they got back and now a book to read. He didn't mind the extra things to do though. It would keep him busy and hopefully stay out of Usagi's way as much as he could. He slid into the passenger seat and waited for Usagi to drive them home.

Usagi started the car and soon they were in the parking lot of the condo complex. Parking the car he turned off the gas as he leaned over and captured the brunette's lips in his own. Breaking away form the brunette he looked at him and said,"Maybe tomorrow will be a better day for you and your classmates. The first day is always the hardest. Do you have homework?"

Misaki jumped back quickly when Usagi had kissed him, a blush spreading quickly across his face as he hit the door. Great. He had forgot about the door. It limited his escape route. He nodded, looking away from the older man as he got out of the car. "Yeah. I'll get started on it right away." he said, turning away from the car and heading up to the condo, walking briskly.

Usagi trailed a little behind Misaki as he locked the car and then got into the elevator along with Misaki as he went to the top of the building. Once he was there he sat down in front of his laptop and continued to write on his novel.

Misaki instantly went up to his room to get started on his homework. He knew he probably could have done it in the living room, but he wanted some space between himself and Usagi for now. Besides, he still had a book to read. But he did have to get up early in the morning... The book could more than likely wait until the weekend, when he'd have more time to actually just sit around to read it.

Usagi looked up from his laptop as he saw Misaki walk up the stairs to his room. He smirked to himself as he saw the brunette's hips sway back and forth as he climbed the stairs. Going back to his writing he finished one of his late manuscripts and began on one that would eventually become late in the week to come.

Misaki could hear the faint sound of Usagi typing away on his laptop downstairs as he started on his homework. He was glad that the older man was working and not stalling. Thankfully for the brunette, he didn't have a lot of homework, since it was technically his first day at school. So he finished quickly. But now he didn't have anything to do, and he wasn't tired yet. So he glanced curiously at the book Usagi had given him. But he had decided that he was going to wait until the weekend to read it. So he stood up and stretched his arms as he headed out into the main area, looking for something to do.

Usagi continued to type on his next installment of his BL novels when he heard Misaki exit through his room and begin walking down the stairs. He immediately changed the word document that he was working on to something less racy. His "normal" novels so to say as he looked at Misaki and said,"Are you done with your work already?"

Misaki nodded as he took a seat on the couch. "Yeah. I didn't have much to do." he said, leaning back against the couch. He was curious as to what story Usagi was working on now... That is, if it was a different one than earlier. But he didn't want to pry, so he remained silent. "... How's your work coming along?"

Usagi looked at Misaki and nodded. He figured that the brunette didn't have much homework since it had been the first day of school. Usagi sighed as he leaned back against the couch and placed his arm on the brunette's shoulder as he brought the other male closer to him. "It's going alright, it won't be finished though by the deadline."

A faint trace of a blush spread across Misaki's face when Usagi pulled him closer. He ducked out from under the man's arm and moved away from him, frowning lightly. "Why not?" he asked. Shouldn't Usagi be working on his book then to make sure that the book gets done on time?

Usagi sighed a little frustrated by the way the brunette dodged his advances, but decided that he would get used to them soon. "I just have a lot of work piling up a little bit. Nothing to worry about though." He grabbed another cigarette out of the pack, but saw that there was nothing there. "Misaki," said Usagi. "I know this might not be your favorite thing to do, but can you go to the convenience store and pick me up two more packs of cigarettes?"

Misaki frowned lightly but nodded. "Yeah... I guess I could." he said, standing up. He really wished Usagi would stop smoking. It was so bad for his health. He scanned his mind and figured that he had enough money on him that he'd be able to afford the cigarettes. "I'll be back in a little bit." he said, going over to the door and sliding his shoes on.

Usagi nodded his head as he looked at the brunette and said,"Thank you," before he went back to his manuscript writing. Getting up from where he was he walked behind Misaki as he hugged him from behind one of his hands going towards his waist and wrapping tightly around it.

Misaki hadn't been expecting Usagi to approach him. Let alone wrap an arm around him. The action caused the brunette to freeze, a faint blush spreading across his face. "W-What are you doing?" he asked, mentally cursing the stutter that sounded.

Usagi smiled inwardly at himself. At least the brunette hadn't pushed him away or anything. "I just wanted to give you a goodbye hug," said Usagi. "Have a fun, safe time." He let go of the brunette as he went back to his own work.

Misaki nodded slowly as Usagi let go of him. A goodbye hug? That was definitely not expected. But at least the older man hadn't tried to molest him or anything, so he really couldn't complain. He took a deep breath and let it out slowly as he left the condo. He had planned on getting to the store quickly so that he'd have plenty of time to get to sleep later. So he walked quickly, got the things he came there for and headed back. He only stopped once because of a display in front of a bookstore of a new volume of the manga he liked. He stood outside for a good 5 minutes, debating whether or not he should get it. Finally, he decided he might as well, so he stepped in, bought the manga, and headed back to the condo, a smile on his face.

As Usagi sat in front of his computer screen again he let out an irritated sigh as he laid down on Suzuki-san and fell asleep completely forgetting to close his laptop or lock it. A new BL novel was opened on the desktop.

Misaki entered the condo quietly, not wanting to risk disturbing Usagi from his work. He set the bag from the store quietly on the counter when he seen that the writer was sleeping, with his laptop open. And even though he knew he shouldn't, curiosity took control of his body as he walked quietly over to the computer. It only took him reading a few lines before his eye twitched. "Pervert Usagi!" he yelled, turning towards Usagi and knocking him off the couch, completely ticked off and wanting him to wake up.

Usagi was having such a good dream. It was him and Misaki together. Everything was perfect. They made love every night and everything was going according to plan. A loud noise woke him up as he cracked his eyes open as he looked up at the angry face of Misaki. Getting himself into a sitting position he let his eyes wander a little bit as he eyed his laptop. His open laptop. His eyes widened as he looked at Misaki trying to stammer out an apology to the brunette.

Seeing Usagi stammer like that seemed to dampen Misaki's anger. But only by a little. He was still extremely ticked off at the writer for writing that BL crap. He crossed his arms angrily. "I don't want to hear your apology's." he said, turning his attention away from Usagi. "Your cigarettes are on the counter." He turned away from the older man and headed for the stairs after grabbing his bag from the bookstore. "I'm going to bed."

Usagi didn't know what to say to Misaki. Clearly the other male was angry at him, but his apologies weren't phasing him at all. Getting out of the couch he walked over to the counter where he took the pack of cigarettes before lighting one of them. He took a long drag on it as he walked towards the window staring out deciding on what to do next.

Misaki sat down angrily on his bed, still very ticked off. It took him a few seconds to calm his nerves down enough before he was able to open up the manga he bought. As he read, his anger slowly disappeared and by the third chapter, he was completely relaxed. He knew he was more than likely over-reacting to this whole thing, but he couldn't help it. That was just the way he was. He sighed, knowing he should probably apologize and he stood up. The brunette stretched his arms before heading out of his room, wondering if Usagi was still awake.

Usagi continued to look out the window as he kicked the bottom that he was staring out of. He took another drag on his cigarette as he turned his back and went to the table where he put it out in the ash tray. He sat down in front of the computer again as he opened it and began typing again. He finished an E-mail to Takahiro, and then started typing again in his non-BL novel.
