"Yeah...but same as you, I don't think she'll say anything...." Xing replied.

Shiki sighed."then were just left to wonder i guess"

Xing nodded and returned to picking at his lunch.

Shiki also continued eating ."this is really good you guys",he said smiling.

"Thanks!" Elliot replied. "I like doing cooking experiments a lot, so...."

Shiki smiled."well then you can come experement here anytime!"

"Sounds good to me." Elliot replied.

Shiki smiled and continued to eat.

Elliot turned back to her own lunch. "What's eating Xing?" She asked, seeing how he was poking at his spaghetti instead of inhaling it.

Shiki loooked to Xing. "Earth to Xing, come in Xing, what is wrong?", he asked.

Xing looked up. "I'm not sure..." he said. "I guess I'm just a bit nervous is all."

Shiki frowned."your up coming fight with your sister?",he asked.

Xing nodded. "It's later today. Around five." He replied.

Shiki smiled some."you'll be fine",he said with a grin. "you'll win for shure, you said so yourself"

"Yeah, I guess you're right." Xing said. He pushed his chair out from the table. "I'm going to head up to my room for a while, later!"

Shiki blinked."later",he said watching him go.

"There's something he's hiding." Elliot said. "What did you say his family name was?"

"Tao", Shiki said looking to her.

"Tao..." Elliot repeated thoughtfully. "I assume you know what's associated with that name?"

Shiki nodded."ys, but Xing isn't like the other members of his family"

"That may be true, but still. He is a Tao after all." Elliot replied. "Do you know anything about him before he came to Japan?"

Shiki looked to him."no, and isnt it rude to asume all Tao's are all the same? plus Abby trusts him, she ha s a good sence of character"

"Character or not, that family has bad blood." Elliot replied.

Shiki sighed."yes,but he may want to be diferent...."

"Different or no, it doesn't change DNA." Elliot replied. "What makes it worse is he really seems like a good kid...at least, from what I can see on top."
