"No need, I've already called." The proctor said. Xing recognized him immediately.

"Rick!" He shouted, running up to the big man. "You're Abby's proctor too?"

Rick nodded. "It took all my self-control to not jump in on this fight....and even then my spirit partners had to hold me back."

"More like sit on him." The griffin next to him said. Rick ignored the comment.

Shiki looked to Rick and to Xing."you know one anther?"

Xing nodded. "He's the proctor who tested me for the Shaman Fight." He replied.

"I see",Shiki said and blinked hearing sirens off in the distance.

"And that would be the ambulance." Rick replied. "I need to leave you four. Will you be all right keeping an eye on Abby?"

Elliot nodded. "We'll keep an eye on her." She replied.

Shiki nodded."yeah,we'll be fine"

Rick nodded. "Good." He said, before leaving.

Once rick was gone, Shiki sighed looking to Abby with worry.

"You think she'll be all right?" Xing asked.

As he spoke Elliot was trying to get Abby down off the tree. "Damn...these swords of hers are really shoved in there."

Shiki bit his lip."Im not sure",he said and went over to help Elliot out,but stopped hearing her oponent groan.

Elliot whirled around, dagger ready. Xing had jumped back as well, holding his puado, ready to intigrate it with Bason if needbe. "Damn...looks like he took less damage." She said.

Shiki watched with a glare as Kinjio stood up.Wipeing his mouth of blood.Laughing a little.

"What's so funny?" Xing snapped, scowling. He had his puado at the ready, prepared for a fight should one arise.

Kinjio snaped his gaze to Xing. "we tied, and here I thouht i had won",he said shrugging.But they might as well make me the winner, since, i hoghy dout she'll make her way out of this one"

"Yeah, and I think you're wrong about that." Xing said, still scowling. "I'm betting you're just too afraid to admit that Abby's better than you."

Kinjio laughed."hardly boy",he said and looked twards the on comeing ambulence."guess the funs over for now",he said and turned,disapearing into the shadows.

"Hey! Get back here!" Xing shouted. He stopped as Elliot put a hand on his shoulder. He looked up to her, and she shook her head.

"Don't." The Native American said. "Even I can sense his spiritual pressure. It's too strong for you to take on as-is."

Xing frowned, but nodded. He turned to look back at the shadows with a glare on his face. That bastard...I'm gonna make him pay for that.

Shiki stepped back as the ambulance atententds cae up to Abby, he went over to the others to stay out of the papramedics way. He watched as they carefully removed Abby from the tree,twitching some as they took out the sowrds. Then loaded her onto the streacher. Putting presher on her wound as they brought her to the waiting ambulence.

"You should go with her, Shiki." Elliot said. "Xing and I can catch up later."

Shiki shook his head."they need all the room they can get to help her",he said calmly.

Elliot nodded. "What do you want to do now, then? Meet up at the hospital or track down the freako?"

Shiki sighed."if we trach him down, we may get into trouble .... for now lets got to the hospital, i dont wnat to risck him showing up there ..."

Elliot nodded. "Understandable. Get on," she said, striding back to the bike and tossing the two helmets back to the boys.

Shiki caught the helmet and looked bck to the shadows."lets go",he saidd geting on.

"Right....." Xing said, getting back into the sidecar. The idea of being a passenger with Elliot's driving was...a little nervewracking, to say the least.
