Trowa snorted at that. Giant robot. He was almost insulted. They were more than that... but from her point of view, that was enough.

Wufei couldn't quite cover a snort, either, nor a muttered "Nataku is more than just a robot."

"I suppose, at its most simplistic..." Quatre mused, glancing at the others.

"Most simplistic," Trowa emphasized. And he ignored the indignant spluttering coming from outside.

"She isn't wrong, technically," Quatre pointed out once he made sure Naomi was sufficiently distracted with the tablet. "Not really."

"True." Trowa shrugged. "But even so." The suits were so much more than just giant robots.

Quatre couldn't help but smile a bit as Wufei kept grumbling under his breath at the injustice of his Gundam being called a giant robot. Typical Wufei.

The pilots all ended up staying for an extra few days to wait and see if they could get a ride with Naomi to her world. Because now they were all curious.

Naomi argued with the book a couple more times, although she didn't have to resort to using the lighter again. She did keep it in her pocket, however.

"No, really, now I need to go get Osa," she said impatiently to it.

The Book almost huffed, flipping a few pages indignantly. Fine. But you will have to stay there for a few hours. It will be easier once you go back to your world and I can regain my energy much faster.

"Fine," Naomi said. A few hours wasn't bad. She looked at the pilots, and then back at the book. "Should I just get one of them now, and then we can get Osa and head back on home from there?"

Only one. You can come back for the rest later. The book didn't even bother arguing with her anymore.

"That's what I figured," Naomi said. She paused for a moment. "That was unusually compliant."

Even if I tried to talk sense into you, you wouldn't listen. So I'd rather not waste my energy. Because clearly the book knew her too well by now.

"You were chatty enough last time," Naomi pointed out. "And give me some credit, I didn't push any more after that."

No, but you are determined, and you've been talking about taking these others back home for a while. I'd rather get this over with now. The book ruffled its pages a little.

"Fair enough," Naomi said. She looked at the guys. "You all get to duke it out over who goes with me first. It has to be one at a time."

They all looked at each other, debating almost instantly. They all nominated Duo to be the test guinea pig. Because clearly if he could make the trip and come back, then they'd all go.

Duo just snorted and walked over to her. "I guess I'm going."

"You wanted to, don't deny it," Naomi replied, grinning a bit. She adjusted her bag on her shoulder a bit. "Ready?"

"Yup." Duo grinned. "We'll be back soon, guys. Don't get too comfy." He looked over at Naomi, grinning briefly.

Naomi rolled her eyes, but nudged the spine of the book briefly.

"Time to go pick up Osanna."

The world spun briefly before the book dumped them back in front of the Rockbell's.

It took Osanna only a few moments to realize they were there, since she was outside, and then she grinned and went to go greet them.

Naomi flailed like a turtle for a moment when she landed on her back, but managed to scramble to her feet in time to see Osanna. She grinned.

"We're back," she said.

Osanna grinned. So I see. Anything interesting happen? Because there had to be a reason Naomi had vanished for a few days.

"The book got a bit pissy, and apparently Duo has friends that are just like him but different," Naomi replied. She grinned a bit. "How was your week?"

Pretty normal. Practiced some alchemy, learned more, made dinner for everyone. You know. Normal. Osanna shrugged.
