"I guess," Naomi reluctantly admitted. She just couldn't imagine her extended family ever being really wary of her. She'd grown up being the weakest, after all.

Hiei watched her for a moment before he snorted. Now he wanted to prove it to her. "You'll see."

Naomi almost said something along the same lines as before, but didn't.

"Alright," she said simply. She was willing to see what would happen. There were really only two outcomes: hers, and his.

Hiei looked over to the side. "Yukina's awake," he said quietly, glancing at her. He figured she was waiting for a somewhat more decent hour to get going.

"I'll go and see her in a few minutes," Naomi replied. She just wanted a little while to gather her thoughts before going to find her friend. No sense in worrying Yukina over nothing.

"Hn." Hiei looked at her and raised an eyebrow. He was silently debating if he should stay or leave her to herself for a while.

Naomi glanced at him briefly, but didn't say anything. He could stay if he wanted, it wasn't like he didn't already know what she thought about herself.

Hiei stayed there, though mostly he was thinking about what he'd do to make her trust herself more. And keep her family from harrassing her.

Because even if he didn't know (or wouldn't admit) why, he wanted to help her.

After a little while (admittedly, a bit longer than just a few minutes), Naomi got up.

"I'm going to go see where everyone is," she said.

Hiei nodded and got up as well, vanishing from the room and leaving her to her own devices.

Osanna was sprawling in the garden again, debating asking Kurama for a few pickings. She wasn't quite sure if she would or not, though.

Kurama was sitting with Osanna. She was clearly enjoying herself in the garden, and he wasn't going to interrupt her.

Naomi left the room, following her senses to try to find Yukina. It didn't take too long to find her, though, and Naomi knocked on the door.

Yukina looked up and smiled. "Hello again," she said quietly, moving over to Naomi.

"Morning," Naomi greeted in return. "I figure we can head back to our world today... Osa wants to bring Kurama with, and then it'll be you, me, and Hiei."

Yukina smiled. "That sounds nice," she agreed. "Do I need to bring anything with us?" She looked at Naomi. She didn't do much traveling, apart from going back and forth.

"Dress for spring," Naomi replied, knowing Yukina would know what it meant. She paused. "Dress for spring amongst humans. We can always go shopping if we need to." She wouldn't mind taking her friend shopping; it was only fair, since Yukina had done the same for her and Osanna before.

Yukina nodded. She had some suitable clothes. "When are you planning to leave?" She looked at Naomi curiously. She didn't need very long to gather her things, after all.

"Once everyone is ready," Naomi replied. "My things are all packed, since I kind of had all night, so I'm really just waiting on Osa." And Kurama, but that fell under the 'Osanna' heading because Osanna was the one inviting him..

Yukina nodded. "Alright. How are you feeling?" She looked at Naomi with some concern. She was more worried because she knew Naomi had been up all night, though.

"I'm fine right now," Naomi replied. "Hopped up on my own energy. I'll keel over tonight and sleep all morning tomorrow." She shrugged. It was normal, for her. It happened the day after her human night every month, almost without fail.

Yukina nodded. "That sounds fair. You'll tell me if you need anything?" She didn't want Naomi to stress herself or anything. Not on their account.

"Don't worry about me," Naomi replied, giving Yukina a small grin that didn't quite reach all the way to her eyes. "I'll be fine. Happens every month, remember?" Okay, so she was faking the cheer just a little bit, but not all of it was faked. She just couldn't quite shake the 'conversation' she'd had with the book yet.

Yukina nodded after a few moments, moving around to gather some clothes. "Alright. Give me a few minutes and I'll be ready." She smiled at Naomi again.

Naomi smiled back, a real smile, this time, and nodded. Then she left to go find Osanna.

Osanna was already ready to go, still just lounging in the garden. She couldn't help it; she liked happy plants. she looked up when she heard Naomi and waved.

Naomi waved back and picked her way around the plants to get to her friend.

"Let me know when you two are ready to head out," she said.
