Naomi just tagged along. She was okay at shopping, but she had no skill in the kitchen at all short of keeping cold food cold, so once the shopping was done she usually let Osanna take command.

Osanna looked at Ed again, and he led the way to the kitchen in the dorm where he and Al usually lived while they were in Central. It wasn't huge, but it was big enough.

Clearly pleased, Osanna nodded and promptly kicked everyone else out of the kitchen, shooing them all into the living/dining room area so they could watch but not be in her way.

"Well, someone's bossy," Ed grumbled, although he didn't really mean it.

"She's quiet, not spineless," Naomi replied, settling into a chair easily. "Just let her do what she wants in the kitchen, it's easier that way." She paused for a moment. "And for the love of god, don't get in her way. It's not fun."

"Why? What's she going to do?" Duo smirked. "She looks like even less of a threat than him." He jerked his thumb at Ed.

"And I showed you just how deceiving looks are, didn't I?" Ed smirked right back.

"Osanna likes plants," Naomi said. "More to the point, she likes exotic, demonic people-eating plants, alongside her more mundane ones." She held up one of her hands, showing him a few scars from being nibbled on by Osanna's plants. "This was before I killed them."

Ed and Duo both blinked and then looked at Osanna again, clearly reassessing her.

"She looks so innocent and harmless," Duo grumbled.

"Yeah. Even with alchemy I didn't figure she'd be much a threat..." Ed and Duo both sighed. "At least we get food."

"I don't look like much, either," Naomi pointed out. "I can pass for human amongst people who don't know any better, but I can still inflict a wicked frostbite if I wanted to." She settled into the chair again. "Even a little bit of demon blood counts for something."

Ed grumbled again. "I still say it's not fair, that you can just make ice without water and an alchemic reaction."

"Technically, I can't," Naomi replied. "It just looks like it." Rubbing some of her fingers together, she created a little marble out of her energy and set it down so he could see it. "Right now, it's frozen and wonderful, but if I don't keep reinforcing it, it's going to dissolve and disappear pretty quick. If I'd frozen actual water, rather than making it out of energy, it would last a lot longer and gradually melt back into water again."

"But you can still make it," Ed pointed out. "And you can freeze water, which no one can do here without a freezer or alchemy. You can do something no one here can."

"And you and your brother are teaching Osanna alchemy, which she will then bring home with her," Naomi replied. She grinned. "So we're even."

Ed snorted. "At least we know it works in your world."

Duo rolled his eyes at them. Really he'd take his mobile suit over this weird stuff any day.

"Hush, you," Naomi said to Ed, grinning a bit. Stretching a bit, she sprawled out on the chair and waited to see what Osanna would come up with for dinner.

Osanna got out plates and then looked over at Naomi, nodding to show she was done. She'd made chicken and veggie stir fry with a garden salad and rice, and somehow she'd found time and ingredients to make a fruit cobbler with extra fruit for dessert.

Ed's jaw dropped when he saw how much food she'd made, and Duo had to refrain from jumping on the food.

Naomi blinked.

"Where did the cobbler come from?" she asked. "You didn't have time to make that. I know you didn't." The rest, however, didn't surprise her.

Osanna grinned. I found a mix in one of the cabinets. I know it's a mix so it won't be quite as good, but I figured it would be good enough.

Naomi rolled her eyes, but took a plate and started serving herself. She glanced at the guys.

"Well?" she said. "Come on."

Al seemed to be the first to break from the amazed stupor and took a plate as well.

Ed and Duo quickly got in line as well, piling their plates high with food before going to settle down to eating.

Osanna grinned and got food last, taking what she wanted and leaving the rest for Ed and Duo to fight over later.

"This is pretty good, Osa," Naomi said as she sat down with her plate.

Osanna grinned and nodded, looking at the males. Nope, they weren't going to comment. But they were eating quickly enough for that to be a comment in and of itself. Still grinning, she settled down to eat as well.

Naomi finished well before the guys did and set her plate aside. She thought for a moment, and then went to get a slice of the cobbler. She wanted some before the males descended upon it.

Osanna followed her example, getting her slice of cobbler. Ed and Duo split the remaining food between the two of them after only a little bit of squabbling, and Osanna grinned.

I think I should cook more often.

Naomi snickered.

"I think so, too," she said. "Though I think next time it should be cupcakes instead of a cobbler. Cupcakes are more fun." She grinned a bit.

Osanna grinned. You know they'd get covered in frosting. I bet that's what you really want to see, huh?

"Of course," Naomi said, grinning. "Someone would get caked in under ten seconds. You know you want to see it too."
