Hoshi was glad to know the name of the shinigami, but wondered if it was him who had followed her on Wednesday.
"So what do you think about our teacher staying on topic for once?" Hoshi asked, thinking about what she and Tatsuki had talked about yesterday. She would wait to tell Ichigo about the strange feeling in the air knowing he would want to know what her dad had said. |
"A nice and pleasant change for once," Ichigo replied with a small chuckle.

" I agree. " Hoshi said with a giggle. She ate her sandwich thinking about what she had to tell Ichigo.

Ichigo ate his andwich, having a feeling that Hoshi or Tatsuki wanted to tell him something.

Hoshi finished her sandwich and chatted a little bit with Tatsuki and Orihime before the bell rang for the day. Hoshi took notes of the lecture and finished her homework in study hall. She was glad when the bell rang signaling the start of the weekend, but was dreading telling Ichigo her dad's theory.

Ichigo finished his sandwich. Seeing that Hoshi was talking with Orihime and Tatsuki, he decided to ask her after school let out for the day. Finishing his homework in study hall, he waited at the gates for Hoshi and Tatsuki, saying good bye to his various friends.

" Ready for the weekend Ichigo?" Hoshi said after she caught up to Ichigo. She wasn't sure what was going to happen that weekend but had the feeling she didn't want to know.

Ichigo heard Hoshi catching up to her, with Tatsuki following close after. "Yeah, I'm ready for the weekend. What about you two?" He asked. The orange-haired protector wanted his friend to tell him what was wrong without him having to ask, but he would if she didn't answer by the time they parted ways.

" I am. Ichigo? You know that off feeling we have been sensing this week? Dad says he can sense it too and has a theory on what it be. But I know you won't like it." Hoshi said in a low voice that only Tatsuki, Ichigo and herself could hear.

"I'm listening," Ichigo said as he waited for Hoshi to tell him what she and her father thought was going on.

" Dad thinks it might be Aizen that is causing this feeling. He said it's been bugging him that it is Aizen and hopes it's something else that is causing the feeling in the air. " Hoshi said feeling tense.

"If it is Aizen again, then I'm not sure what we'll do. I highly doubt Zangetsu would let me use Mangetsu Mode again," Ichigo said in the same low voice that Hoshi did.

Hoshi nodded solemnly, hoping it wasn't Aizen. She promised herself she would fight as hard as she was able to stop him this time, not wanting to feel useless when the others were fighting. " Maybe it's just another enemy that wants us to think it is Aizen." Hoshi suggested, though not sure who else there was who would want revenge for Aizen's defeat.

Ichigo hoped it wasn't Aizen and only someone who was pretending to be him. He knew from past experience that Zanpakutos sometimes chose two summoners and were able to confuse any type of sense. Add that in with what he knew about Aizen's Zanpakuto abilities and he didn't like the idea. "It might be a double...Toushiro and a friend of his once held the same blade: Hyourinmaru. The same could be said about Aizen's blade," Ichigo said, throwing his own theory out in the open.

" That could be it too. " Hoshi said solemnly. She just hoped that they could figure things out before it was too late. " Do either of you have anything planned this weekend? " Hoshi asked, not wanting to be bored .

"Not really, no" Ichigo responded.
"Me neither. Why do you ask Star-chan?" Tatsuki asked out of curiosity. |
" Just asking. I don't have anything planned either." Hoshi said, realizing this was her first free Saturday in a long time. " What sounds like fun?"

"That's rare...we don't usually have a Saturday doing nothing," Ichigo said, wondering what they could do with it.

" I think there is a traveling fair in town this weekend." Hoshi said remembering what she had heard on the radio this morning. " We could go to that." She offered trying to be helpful.

"Sounds like a good idea to me," Ichigo said as Tatsuki nodded as well. It was better than doing nothing all weekend.

" It's at the festival grounds and opens at 9. Where and what time should we meet?" Hoshi asked as they arrived to her house.

"What about 10:30 here and then we go to the festival grounds from there?" Tatsuki suggested.

" Sounds good to me. " Hoshi said with a small smile.

Ichigo nodded as well, liking the idea.

" See you guys tomorrow. " Hoshi said with a wave , before heading inside.
