Tetsu nodded and entered. He wondered if this was about why Isshin was called to Soul Society yesterday and wondered what the information was.

Isshin told Tetsu to sit down before he told them that what he learned during the Council's talks. The only reason he was there in the first place because he knew the most about the Arrancar and Vaizard. "It's not good. Whoever this new leader is is taking pot shots at Soul Society," he explained.

" Pot shots Any particular people targeted? " Tetsu said, thinking about what Xeres Osuna had mentioned. " It bothers me very much that this is happening. You think it might be someone we think is dead?I know that who ever is in charge now has been gathering souls. " Tetsu said and told about the battle that he and Captain Hitsugaya had with the Arrancar.

Isshin listened to Tetsu's story with interest. Once he was done, he commented that it was interesting, and also had some merit to what he heard about in the Council meeting. "I wonder..." Isshin started to think before shaking his head lightly. He knew who it could possibly be, but he wasn't sure. Plus they had to little of any information to go on. "I may have a guess as to who it might be, but other than that, I have no clue," Isshin finally said.

" Who might it be?" Tetsu asked curiously. He had his own idea, but had a feeling it was the same as Isshin's

"Remember a while back, the boy who also had the same zanpakuto spirit as Toushiro?" Isshin asked gravely.

" I do. You think it might be him?" Tetsu asked soberly,getting a bad feeling about where this was going. " Think he might have been working with Aizen all along?" Tetsu said getting one of his ideas out . It was a long shot, but it was all they had at the moment.

"Maybe. I'm not sure," Isshin replied.

" Let's just hope Kisuke has some information we can use." Tetsu said and rubbed his forehead, feeling the stress building up.

Isshin nodded, mirroring his action as he felt the headache coming on. "I just wonder how he took over Hueco Mundo," Isshin said, thinking out loud.
As school finished for the day, Ichigo asked Tatsuki and Hoshi if they were free. |
" He could possibly have Kyōka Suigetsu , but other than that I don't know." Tetsu said and looked at his watch." I better go. It was good to see you again. I promise not to be such a stranger ." Tetsu said with a grin, and had feeling that the both of them would have to fight this battle.
"I'm free." Hoshi said, glad she had finished her homework during study hall. |
"He could have it with him also, which is how he's using the Hollows and Arrancar without any problems," Isshin said before bidding Tetsu farewell for the day with a grim smile on his face. He hoped his speculations weren't harmful. Perhaps he'd go visit Kisuke later on.
"Same here Ichigo. Why do you ask?" She asked their orange-haired friend as he explained that Kisuke sent him a text message that said he had a surprise at the shop. |
Hoshi wondered what the surprise could be as they made their way toward the shop.

Ichigo saw Kisuke outside the shop once they got there, wondering just what Kisuke meant by a surprise and voiced his thoughts to one of the few men who helped him become the Substitute Shinigami that he was today.

"You'll just have to go to the back room and see. " He said, knowing Nel was waiting there. He was glad Hoshi and Tatsuki had come also. He hoped Nel would open up about the situation in Hueco Mundo to Ichigo. Urahara wanted to know too so he could start working on a plan. If this was a bad as he thought it was, he didn't want to go in blind.
Hoshi sensed another presense coming from inside the shop, but didn't feel she was in danger. |
Ichigo stared at the man for a few seconds before sighing, knowing that the old man wouldn't say anything else on the matter. "Alright fine, but if there's a bunch of Hollows coming after me, it's your life I'm claiming first," Ichigo said as he went inside the store room and into the back. If he had been paying attention to the spirit particles around the store, he would have been able to sense that it was Nel.
Seeing green hair, he wondered who it could be. However, before his mind could catch up with his body, "Nel?" came out of his mouth causing the female to turn. Surprised, he wasn't ready for the glomp that came from Nel. |
Hoshi recognized the woman as the one she saw in her dream and assumed this was Nel She giggled a little bit when Ichigo got glomped , hiding her mouth with her hand.

Tatsuki giggled as well when Nel glomped Ichigo, not surprised with what Ichigo told them about her.
Ugh...Nel...Air," Ichigo strugled out, causing Nel to let go of Ichigo and apologize greatly. After catching his breath, Ichigo asked Nel why she was here. |
"I was making my usual rounds making sure that no hollows broke through to the Human world, when I was ambushed by two Arrancars. One struck my shoulder , while the other escaped. I don't know if the other escaped to the Human world or to Soul Society. The one that was left behind started to attack me . I had the feeling he knew who I was as we fought.He was much stronger than I was, but I eventually fought him off, though I was badly injured in the process." Nel said.
"While she was healing from the fight I can through the gate and sensed someone injured nearby. I saw Nel there and waited till she was well enough to speak. I offered to have her stay here in the Human World where she would be safe. I didn't like the feel I got when I was in Heuco Mundo, it seemed there was a very dark presence that was there ." Urahara said. |
Ichigo listened, not entirely liking the idea that someone had not only left Hueco Mundo but also attacked Nel in order to do so. It annoyed him that he wasn't there to help her and it showed on his face, even if he tried to hide it. "Thank you Kisuke," he said softly. Anywhere else he wouldn't have said a thing due to keeping his reputation intact, but the old man deserved his thanks. Who knew what would have happened to Nel if Kisuke didn't come for her? "I'm curious about something though Nel. How are you able to stay in your adult form?" He asked, remembering that she reverted back to her child-like form once all of her energy was spent fighting Nntoria.

" It's been difficult , but I can hold this form longer the more I train to conserve my energy. " Nel said, trying to give the best answer she could. She still wasn't sure how she was able to hold this form for this long, but had assumed it had to do with conserving her energy.

Ichigo nodded at that answer, taking it at face value. However, he did miss the curious glint going through Urahara's eye.

" Things are not good in Heuco Mundo since the new ruler took over. He's created new Arrancars and killed the Espada that did survive the Winter War. The Hollow activity has become erratic and unable to predict. I'm afraid he is going to launch a campaign against those he deem a threat to him Ichi-kun"Nel said, knowing the new ruler knew of her and considered her an enemy.

"How did he take over Nel-san?" Tatsuki asked, confused. She had thought that Nel was the ruler of this Hueco Mundo place. She understood that with the new leader being a dictator and tyrant that Hollow activity would be up, she wasn't sure if she was ready for this new leader.

" From what I remember, he came around about a year ago. No one thought much of him at first, until he started to build his own Arrancar army and started get rid of those he called weak and traitors." Nel said hoping this information would help.
