Katniss sighed lightly while fingering her sword lightly. Conversing with it, she wondered how much information she should tell the others about Snow and Coin Valeros.
'You should just tell them everything Katnip,' her blade spirit saide to her, trying to give her some strength so that she wasn't truly alone with the information, or the idea. 'What's the worse that can happen?' the spirit asked her as Katniss sighed yet again. "Because the Hollows attacked her as well as everyone else, right?" He asked. He still wondered if there was a way to determine who the second key was. |
"Right. I have a feeling there's a lot more Katniss knows than she's telling us. I just hope she tells someone before it's too late." Yoruichi said. She hoped Katiniss would say something, though understanding how difficult it was to do so.

Ishida nodded as well and hoped that Katniss would talk to someone and soon.

Saya waited for Ishida. She wasn't afraid of the shinigami that she had met, but was feeling a little shy. She knew she might have a few of them in her class once she started school here and hoped it would be soon.

Ishida walked towards Saya and asked if she was ready to go, apologizing for taking so long talking with Yoruichi.
Katniss stood up with a plan in mind. Making sure that only Urahara Kisuke was in the area, she headed back into the store. She didn't know exactly what she was going to say to the shopkeeper, but she was going to tell him what she knew. |
" That's alright. I am ready to go. " Saya said.
Urahara sensed Katniss in the area and had a feeling that she needed to talk to him about something. He hoped he could be of help. |
"Alright, then let's go," he said, planning to talk to her on the way home with what Yoruichi told him.
"Kisuke-san?" Katniss asked hesitantly, mentally cursing herself for sounding weak at the moment. Once she noticed that she had the shopkeeper's attention, she continued. "Can I talk to you about something?" |
" Sure you can. What seems to be troubling you?" Urahara asked in a kind voice.
Saya kept her guard up in case anything was to happen on the way to the motel. She hoped she would be safe, though not really wanting to be alone. |
Katniss started talking, telling Urahara about her previous life and what happened to Coin and Snow. She just kept talking, knowing that if she stopped she wouldn't be able to summon the courage to start again.
"Saya-chan, can I ask you something?" Ishida asked, hoping that Saya wouldn't hate him for what he was about to say or ask. |
" Sure. What is it?" Saya asked wondering what it was Ishida wanted to ask her.
Urahara listened and was glad she was telling him. He had a feeling both Coin and Snow had some involvement in what was happening . but wasn't sure how. |
"Yoruichi-san told me that you had a run in with the Vandenreich," Ishida said slowly, waiting for her reaction to that news. Seeing her stop and the small amount of fear pass through her eyes. "She also told me that they tried recruiting you. I'll go on the assumption that you gave them a 'no' as an answer since you're helping us, but I also have a reason that they've made both of us a target."

Saya paused. She was more afraid than angry at the moment." I did and I was. I wanted to become stronger, but not like them. The day I was supposed to give my answer was the day that everyone disappeared. I want to help you and your friends fight them. I'm sorry if I made you a target."Saya said, feeling worried.

Ishida shrugged at that. "I don't care about being a target, and I'm not going to stop being your friend just because of that. Although now I wonder...could the two events be connected somehow?" he asked. "Also...you don't have to accept, but my home is always open to you," he offered.

" I have a feeling they are connected. But how I don't know. Thank you for the offer. It would be nice to be some place I feel safe at. I will check out of the motel and get my things then. " Saya said. " Thank you Ishida -San for being a good friend to me. " She added. Saya had friends in the past, but that was before her parents died.

"So many things that we don't have answers for," Ishida said before sighing lightly. "And you're welcome, Saya-chan," Ishida said, glad that she was taking him up on his offer. "Do you want any help getting your stuff?" he then asked.

" I'll be fine. Thanks for the offer though. All I have really is two duffel bags and my laptop case. " Saya said. She would have to let her Aunt Megumi know that she was staying with a friend for now. Saya knew her aunt was worried that something bad would happen to her.

Katniss finally stopped talking, breathing lightly as she finished. She felt a little drained as all of her pent up emotions from long ago were dragged back up as she retold her story. Wiping her eyes to get the tears out, she looked away from Urahara, thinking that he probably saw her as weak now. Not only for what she did, but also for what she didn't do.

"I don't think you are weak Katniss-san. You did what you could at the time and I respect you for that." Urahara said, knowing this had been difficult for her to tell.
Saya packed her things and checked out of the motel. She hoped that they all would have a time to figure out who was the next key, and made a note to ask her aunt about it the next time she talked to her. " I'm ready to go if you are." Saya said to Ishida. |
"You do?" Katniss asked, surprised. She thought all along that she was a coward and weak for the decisions that she made, but a small smile came to her face as Urahara said that. "Thank you," she whispered.
Ishida saw Saya carrying a few bags before hearing her ask if he was ready. "I am, if you are," he responded, asking if she wanted any help with the bags. (also, if you're still looking for something to read, I would recommend Grave Mercy. It was very good, even if the second book isn't scheduled until spring 2013 T_T) |

I do. I'm glad you said something. It took a lot of courage to tell me. If you ever need my or Yoruichi's help for anything you let us know. " He said. Urahara wanted to make sure Katniss stayed safe. " That would be nice. " Saya said handing him one of the bags. She had her guard up , not wanting them to be ambushed. |

Katniss nodded, not trusting her voice at the moment. Ishida took the bag from Saya and lifted it so that it was resting comfortably on his shoulder. As they headed home, Ishida kept his senses alert, just in case a member of the Vandenreich wanted to attempt an ambush. |
Hoshi had arrived home with her dad and went up to her room. She was worried about Rue and that one of her friends was the second key. Hoshi didn't think she was, though wasn't sure why she thought that.
" My aunt will be in town on Monday. She wants to help me get enrolled in the high school. I hope it's alright if I told her about you.She's also a Quincy if you are wondering. " Saya said hoping it was alright. |
"Really now?" Ishida asked raising an eyebrow. He hoped that Saya's aunt didn't think anything was going on with the two of them, but wisely decided not to mention that. "I kinda figured that she was a Quincy but thanks for letting me know all the same," he said having a feeling that she would be joining the same high school that he and the others went to.

Saya nodded. " She was glad to hear there still was a Quincy in Karakura town. She told me once that my grandfather had a record of where in Japan there were still Quincy. She wanted to have an updated list in case there ever was a great need to assemble. " Saya said. " My aunt believes in the same idea my dad did. That there would be a point in time that the Quincy and Shinigami would have no choice but to work togeather to take down a great threat. " She added.

"Sounds like your aunt and grandfather were smart people," Ishida said, hiding the tone of his surprise in his voice. "Was she ever able to update it?" he asked out of curiosity. Back when he was a child if he heard that claim he wouldn't believe it, but now...now he was sure that the Quincy and Shinigami would have to work together as a whole; not just a band of misfits like themselves.
