Tatsuki and Katniss left soon after as well, each waving good bye to Hoshi, Tatsuki also thanking her for dinner. Once they were away from the house, Katniss asked why both of them called Hoshi "Star-chan"

Hoshi went up the stairs and got ready for bed. Hoshi hoped she didn't dream tonight, worried that it would be something bad again.

"It's a long story," Tatsuki said, evading Katniss' question. "You feel that?" she asked after a few seconds, feeling as if someone was following them.

Hoshi tried to relax, but had the feeling something was wrong. She got into her shinigami form to take a quick look around. She hoped that things were alright.

Katniss dodged a Hollow's outstretched claw as it raked against the building she was standing next to just a few minutes ago. Seeing Tatsuki jump to avoid the second Hollow both scowled lightly, knowing that there was no conceivable place for them to safely deposit their bodies once they were in Shinigami form.
Tatsuki was doing her best in order to dodge the Hollow that was attacking her. Glad to remember her lessons of channeling Reiatsu to her limbs, the raven-haired youth shot off a fireball, only to have the Hollow tilt his head to the right, dodging it. Continuously trying this would be somewhat taxing on her reserves, but knew that her spirit would help her if she needed the boost...she hoped. It had been a while since she had to do this after all. |
Hoshi sensed the hollow and saw Katniss and Tatsuki. Hoshi drew indigo fog out of the sheath and got ready to attack.

The hollows didn't sense the third shinigami coming for them from the side, their orders being to either kill or capture Katniss at the orders of Coin Matthews. The other person next to her was just collateral damage to the Hollows limited brain.

Hoshi started to fight the Hollows , hoping this would give Tatsuki and Katniss enough time to get away. She hoped she wasn't the only one who had sensed the hollows.

Tatsuki nodded to Katniss, indicating for her to get out of her gigai and start fighting. She would stay in her body and help protect her gigai if it needed protecting, not sure if Kisuke had an automation program inside it or not.

" Do you sense something? " Saya asked Ishida. They had been training and she had paused when she felt the hollows.

Ishida noticed the Hollow activity as well. "You sensing Hollows as well?" Ishida asked.
|
" I do. I also can sense a couple Shinigami fighting them. I can recognize one, but the other one I don't ." Saya said focusing on the fighting.

"Which one do you recognize?" He asked. He had a feeling that it was their friends who were fighting, but curious as to who was fighting.
|
" I recognize the first one as Hoshi, but the second one seems to be hard to sense. Saya wondered if it was the girl with the braid that was the other Shinigami.

Ishida asked if she wanted to check it out, even if he knew it could be a trap. He knew that Hoshi and who he assumed was Katniss could fight well enough on their own.

" Not really. I have a feeling it could be a trap." Saya said . She knew that she had to be more careful now that she was a target.
|
Ishida nodded in understanding, feeling that it was also a trap as well. 'Let's just hope that our inaction doesn't bite us in the butt later,' he thought to himself.

Hoshi kept fighting the hollows, glad that the numbers were small. She had an uneasy feeling that they had been sent for a reason.

Katniss kept her sword in its regular form, not trusting her explosion arrows to do damage to them as well as to the Hollows around them.

Hoshi had gone shikai, only because the hollows seemed to be to much for her . She kept fighting the last few, glad that Katniss was there.

Tatsuki sighed lightly in relief after the three of them vanquished the last of the Hollows, feeling a little tired from expending all that energy. Seeing Hoshi sanding next to Katniss, she grinned lightly and thanked her friend for the help.
Katniss thanked Hoshi as well before returning to her gigai, wondering why the small amount of Hollows had attacked the two of them. She had a feeling that it was either because of her and that Coin or Snow were behind this or the Vandenreich were using the Hollows and the attack as bait to draw Saya out...either conclusion did not bode well for the young archer. |
Hoshi nodded. " Any idea why the hollows attacked?" She asked. Hoshi had the feeling the hollows were after someone. Though she wasn't sure if it was Katniss or Saya.

Katniss returned to her body and thanked Tatsuki for guarding it for her. "No clue," she answered although she had an idea that they were after her.

" Let me know if you need us. Will you be alright Katniss-San?" Hoshi asked feeling concerned.

"I'll be fine," Katniss responded, "although thank you for your concern." she finished.
