Toushiro nodded, wishing that he could do something to help.

" Is there anything you would like me to do?" The Matron asked. She wanted to help as much as she could, feeling it could get worse.

Toushiro thought about it for a second, not sure what to do with the little information that he knew of.

Hoshi arrived at school and sat on the bench. She hoped that today would be a good one, but the feeling in the air made her feel very uneasy.

Saya hoped she wasn't the only one who felt uncomfortable today." Do you feel that?" She asked Ishida, as they headed toward school.

Ishida didn't know what was going to happen today, but he knew that something was going to happen by the end of the day. Clenching his Quincy Cross lightly, he almost missed Saya's question. Nodding, he grimly replied that he did. "Be careful today, alright?" he asked.

" I will. " Saya said holding her cross lightly. She hoped she could keep herself safe.

Ishida nodded. "don't forget about the flare I showed you if you get in something over your head," he reminded her. Soon they saw the school building coming into the distance.

Saya nodded. She was glad that she had someone to teach her new things and hoped she could repay the favor.

Hoshi waved when she saw Ishida and Saya heading toward her. She hoped that she wasn't the only one who could sense this strange feeling.

Ishida and Saya waved back to Hoshi once they saw her at the school grounds.

" Do you guys sense something strange in the air?" Hoshi asked when they got closer.

"We do," Ishida replied. "You have your necklace, right?" he asked, referring to her necklace that allowed her to quickly transform into a shinigami.

" I do. " Hoshi said . She always had the star shaped emerald colored pendant close by just in case she needed to transform into a Shinigami. She just kept it hidden , so Keigo wouldn't ask what it was for.As far as Hoshi knew he didn't know about her being a Shinigami.

"Alright," he said feeling good about her having her transformation device. He had wondered why she didn't wear it during school and now knew why. Glancing up, he saw Ichigo and Tatsuki entering the school. Waving, he did a double take as he noticed Rukia with them as well.

Hoshi waved when she saw both Ichigo and Tatsuki , feeling surprised to see Rukia with them. She had feeling Rukia was here because of the strange feeling in the air.


Saya tensed up a little bit when she saw the dark haired girl that was walking with Ichigo and Tatsuki. She would keep calm since she was getting use to all the higher level Shinigami around.

Ishida felt Saya tense up next to him and placed an arm on her shoulder. He was surprised to see Rukia here and wondered what she was doing in Karakura.

Tatsuki and Ichigo waved back to the group of friends as the three of them came closer to the group.

"It's good to see you again Rukia-San. " Hoshi said with a small smile. She hoped things were alright.

" It's nice to meet you. I'm Saya Adachi." She said introducing herself to Rukia. She calmed down when Ishida put his hand on her shoulder knowing he was telling her it was alright.

"It's nice to meet you Saya-chan. I'm Rukia Kuchiki," Rukia responded before also saying that it was good to see Hoshi and the others once again. She was about to tell them about the disappearances in Soul Society but unfortunately, the bell decided to ring at that time.

" Thank you Kuchiki-san." Saya said before the bell had rung. Saya sat in her seat and passed in her homework, having a feeling that Rukia had wanted to tell them something.

Hoshi had a feeling that Rukia had something important to tell them. She handed in her homework and tried her best to keep focus, though wondering what the important information was.

Ichigo wondered what Rukia wanted to say before the bell rang, but assumed that they would know during lunch. Sitting down in his seat, he passed his homework forward as Rukia settled back into the classroom.

Hoshi was glad when the bell rang for lunch and waited by the stairs for her friends. She had noticed that everyone seemed distracted today.

Saya finished up what she was doing and grabbed her lunch. She waited for Ishida at the door , waiting to join the others.

(It is. And of course there's the Marvel teaser at the end.)

Rukia waited for everyone to join her at the rooftop, glad to know that this was still their hangout spot during lunch. She would wait until everyone was up there to start talking.

Ishida finished up what he was working on before putting it in his bag for later before grabbing his lunch and heading up the stairs with Saya to the roof.

( I like the teasers. Im hoping my local theater gets it soon. They seem to be slow on getting new releases sometimes. )


Hoshi sat down and got her lunch out. She wasn't very hungry but ate anyway knowing she would need the energy. She was feeling tense about the news Rukia had.

Saya felt the same way, and started to eat, also knowing she needed the energy.

(that sucks. Unlike the Avenger's teaser, I have no idea what the teaser is talking about when it comes to Spider man. Then again, I don't know much about the comic versions of Spider-man)

Rukia waited for everyone to finish their lunches before starting to speak. "I'm sorry for showing up unexpected like this, but we were able to find out some information about the Vandenreich," Rukia started out.

Saya tensed up, knowing this couldn't be good. She feared the the Vandenreich had done something to further divide the Shinigami and Quincy. She hoped that wasn't the case.

"They can steal the spirit of a zanpakuto, essentially taking away the ability to use Bankai. We don't know how they're doing it, but they are," she replied, hating to give them even more bad news.
