"It is." Katia confirmed. " The Vandenreich fled there to avoid the fighting. I realize now that was a coward move. A true Quincy wouldn't abandon others just because they disagreed with an idea. " She added.

" I need help increasing my Reiastu levels. Sometimes when I fight I feel drained afterwards. " Katia said. She knew she would need to be able to keep that portal open for a long amount of time.

" I haven't. Is that possible ? " Katia asked. She wanted to know if there was more that she could do to be stronger.

"It is," Ishida said as he showed Katia a small ball made out of only his reiatsu. "The smaller it is, the harder it is to make. Although, there's also this that can help," Ishida said as he took off a wristband. "This actually makes it a little harder to draw reiatsu into the form that you want to create."

(Similar to the Spirit Cuffs that Yusuke has in the Dark Tournament)

" Okay. I'm ready to start when you are." Katia said. She was looking forward to getting stronger.

Hoshi was meditating a little bit before training, knowing it helped her focus better. She felt she was close to finally mastering her second ability.

Katia did her best replicate what Ishida did and made an attempt to copy what he did.

Katia smiled." Want me to try it again?" She asked.

" Alright. " Katia said. " Should we start training with the others soon ?" She asked. She was getting use to the knowledge that Hoshi and Ishida were her cousins and hoped that Ichigo and Tatsuki didn't mind.

" Alright. " Katia said. She was glad to know she had family and knew they would do anything to keep her safe. She feared the man who had trained her all those years was now looking for her. She didn't want to go back.


Tetsu woke from his meditation and stood up. He had idea for the training but would wait till the others were ready. He gave a kind smile to where Ishida and Katia were and was glad that they were working together.

Ishida grinned lightly and hoped that the others were alright with them being related to Hoshi. He also practiced, knowing that the constant use of his reiatsu would only make his techniques stronger.

Ichigo got out of his meditation and noticed that Tatsuki was having some trouble. Heading towards the girl, he asked how he could help.

Hoshi got out of her meditation and was feeling better. She was still a little nervous about telling Tatsuki and Ichigo. She wondered how her friend would react to knowing she was his rival's cousin.

" I'm glad everyone is ready. I have plan to divide into two teams of three.What we will focus on is teamwork and working on some defense skills. " Tetsu said. He hoped that either Hoshi or Uryu would mention they were related soon to the others since the tension in the room was heavy.

Keeping an eye on Katia, Ishida took a slight breath and hoped that nothing changed after he said this. "Before we start...I have something to inform everyone here," he said, noticing that he had everyone's attention. Taking one final breath, he continued. "It has recently come to my attention that Katia-chan and I are related to Hoshi-chan."

Katniss groaned lightly as she sat in the pond, the properties of the water healing her quickly. She had almost gotten him that last time and wanted to try again shortly. However, what disturbed her was the skull-like mask that had protected her from that last slash of her spirit's attack. 'Not that I'm grateful or anything...but where did you come from? and what does it mean?' she thought to herself.

Hoshi was glad that everyone knew now, but couldn't tell how Tatsuki and Ichigo were reacting.

Ichigo was stunned for a little bit, especially since both Katia and Ishida were Quincy while Hoshi was a shinigami. Noticing that Hoshi was looking at him and Tatsuki, he quickly made up his mind. "That's great Star-chan," he said with an actual grin on his face, surprising a few there. Chuckling to himself, he was shocked that some of them were surprised in the first place. He was friends with Arrancars, Vizards and Shinigami after all.

Tatsuki wouldn't lie when she said she was surprised at first when she heard the news, but was glad for both Hoshi and Katia, as well as Ishida. Grinning lightly, she nodded her head as well. "I'm glad for you Hoshi-chan," she said with a small smirk on her face. If it was any other type of situation, she would start teasing Katia, but now wasn't the time. She also noticed that Ishida wanted to talk to Ichigo about something, but wasn't sure as to what.

Hoshi was surprised by her friend's reaction. "I'm glad you guys think so. " Hoshi said with a smile. She also wondered how Katniss was.

" We can take a break for today and resume tomorrow." Tetsu said when he heard the phone ring. He was a bit worried that it was a response to the request he made.

" Hope to see you tomorrow. " Hoshi said with a smile. She was glad that today had gone well.


Tetsu had got back into his Gigai and picked up the phone. He was wondering if his idea of having a captain come here to talk to Katia had been rejected. He wanted his niece safe and wouldn't let anyone hurt her.
