Ishida saw Ichigo and the others out, silently hoping that the orange-haired shinigami could help Katniss and hoped that he wasn't to late.

"Tetsu-san?" Byakuya asked, hoping that he got the right phone number. He rarely used these things and usually it was to talk to his sister. He had a feeling that Tetsu was going to like the news that he was about to give, as well as not like it all within the same breath.

" Kuchiki-sama I'm glad it's you calling .I assume that you have an answer to my request. " Tetsu asked in a nervous tone. He didn't know how this could end up.He just didn't want anything to go wrong.

"I do. Captain Soi Fong is going to conduct an interview with Katia-san. She understands your concerns for her well being and said that you could watch, but that you couldn't interfere," Byakuya said in a calm voice. He was glad that he didn't have to tell him that she wasn't the only one who had wanted to interrogate the ex-Vandenreich member.

" I understand. How soon does Captain Soi Fong want to meet with ?" Tetsu said feeling relieved. He knew he would have to tell Katia and the others and would tell them why he waited this long to say anything.

"She will want to meet with Katia at the end of the week," Byakuya replied as he heard the small breath exhaling from Tetsu's mouth. A smile crept on the noble's face, completely understanding just what he was going through. He was just as protective to his little sister as Tetsu was to his family.

" So tomorrow. Where does she want to be? It could be here at my house. I would suggest Urahara's but things are busy there right now. " Tetsu said. He didn't want to interfere with Katniss and her training for Bankai.

"I think that would be for the best Tetsu-san," Byakuya said, as he confirmed what Tetsu had said. While he didn't know exactly what was going on with Urahara's Shop, he knew that the ex-captain was doing something to help train the future generation in his own way. There was also Isshin's house as well, but he didn't know Isshin as well as he did Tetsu.

" What time is Captain Soi-Fong expected to arrive tomorrow. I have a plan of doing some training but it can wait. " Tetsu said. He hoped this went well.

"She said she would be there by noon at the latest," Byakuya stated, hoping that didn't hinder his plans.

Ichigo entered the shop of Kisuke's, waiting for the old man. As he waited, he focused on the reiatsu around the shop, trying to signal out Katniss' unique spiritual strand. Once he found it, he noticed that it had started to turn a crimson color, the same as his. 'That isn't good...' he thought to himself.

" That will work out good then." Tetsu said. He could still sence Katia and Ishida here and wondered if they staed to look at photo albums.

Urahara was growing concerned about Katniss. He knew she was close to becoming a Visard but knew there was still time to prevent that from happening." I'm glad you are here." He said to Ichigo."

Ishida was glad that the others were not revolted over the fact that Katia and himself were related to Hoshi and wondered why his father never told him something of that magnitude.'Then again...would I have believed him?' he asked himself , knowing about the rocky relationship he had with his father. Granted they had worked on it, but it was still there. 'I wonder what Saya-chan is up to?' he randomly thought, hadn't heard anything from the girl in a while.

"Thanks. How is she doing Bankai-wise?" Ichigo first asked, just out of curiosity. Once he got the answer of that, he would then ask about where Urahara thought Katniss was in terms of becoming a Vizard or even worse, a Hollow. It would also allow him to think of what to do to contain the damage by himself before he called Shinji and brought in on this, knwoing the aloof blonde was probably more capable than himself when it came to matters like this.

" She's almost there. I think about this time tomorrow she should have Bankai achieved." Urahara said.He also knew that Katniss could also be a Visard too and hoped Ichigo would be able to stop what was happening.

"That's good to hear. Speaking of which, have you been able to find out anything more on the plate that Katia gave you? Also...where is Kat-chan? I want to talk to her first to see what's going on," Ichigo said.

" She's in her room now resting, but she should be still awake."


Tetsu said good bye to Captain Kuchiki and joined the others up stairs. He was dreading having to say this, but knew he had no other choice.

"Alright, I'll go ahead and talk to her then," Ichigo said before knocking on her door. "Kat-chan?" he asked.

Ishida noticed Tetsu come into the room. "Uncle?" he asked, curious as to what was going on.

" That was Captain Kuchiki. I should have said something about last nights call but I wanted to have more information first. Katia-chan, the captains want to hear what you told Urahara and the others for themselves. Though that required you having to go to Soul Soiceity. Fortunately both Captain Hitsugaya and Captain Kuchiki were against that idea. I sent in a request that they send a captain here to the Living World to interview you. That request has been granted and Captain Soi-Fong will be here at noon tomorrow. I can watch but am not allowed to interfere. I know this is bad but you will be safer here than in Soul Soicety. I'm afraid I wouldn't see you again if they had denied my request. " Tetsu said solemnly.

Katniss scowled at the nickname. " What is it?" She said to Ichigo. He did get on her nerves a little bit.

"Why wouldn't I see you if I went to Soul Society?" Katia asked. She understood why the captains wanted to hear the information from her firsthand, but not why she would be unable to come back if she went in the first place. She was also curious as to why her uncle thought that it was bad when all they wanted was her cooperation, which she was willing to do, especially after finding her family. The only reason she wouldn't cooperate with them was if they threatened to separate her from her new family.

Ichigo smirked lightly at the tone of her voice, knowing that she hated the nickname he coined for her. "One question. I heard that you've been bankai training recently, using the same method that I did. What I want to know is...have you recently been saved by a random Hollow mask?"

" I'm just afriad that something bad might have happened to you while you were there. There's a captain there that is known to have done terrible things to Quincies and I feared he would have hurt you. " Tetsu said. He wouldn't let Kurotsuchi get his hands on anyone he cared about.


" I did actually. Is that a bad thing. It helped me make some progress today. " Katniss said.

"It's not a bad thing per say, but it could lead to something bad in the future," Ichigo said truthfully. "Katniss, I'm not going to lie to you. That mask...it's yours," he said, waiting for her to ask just what the hell he meant by that.

Ishida winced lightly, knowing just exactly which captain Tetsu was talking about. "He's telling the truth Katia-chan. I fought against him when we invaded Soul Society to rescue Rukia. He even treats his own daughter like she's nothing more than a servant to him," he said as he remembered the scene.

"One of these days he's going to pay for what he has done. But no need to worry now. Soi-Fong won't hurt you. She'll ask some difficult questions but her coming here is a good sign that they are willing to trust you. " Tetsu said.

"What do you mean by that?! " Katniss demanded. She didn't think there could be a way she could do that on her own.

"Right. Soi-fong wouldn't hurt someone who her mentor thinks of like a daughter," Ishida said chuckling lightly. He remembered how Ichigo said that just at the mere mention of the former captain caused Soi-fong to go from her normal demeanor to something akin to a fan girl.

"I mean exactly what it sounds like Katniss," he started to say, using her full name to convey the seriousness of the situation. "I think it's to late to stop it, but I think you're becoming a Vizard, a Shinigami with Hollow powers, but those powers do not come without a cost," Ichigo continued.

Tetsu laughed a little bit. He knew how much Soi-fong looked up to Yoruichi. " Training is still on for tomorrow and I know you both wan to get some rest. " Tetsu said when he looked at the clock. He would help Katia look for pictures of her parents if she asked." Katia-chan? I think I might have something of your parents. Fumi had it in her house and wanted me to hold on to it when you were found." He added.

" What sort of cost?" Katniss asked feeling concerned. She wondered if it was the rage she had toward those who hurt her and captured Rue that was causing all this.

"If you can't control your Hollow, your Hollow will control you...and you WILL have to fight for that control." Ichigo said, talking from experience. "It may be better to get Shinji and the others..." he muttered to himself. "Is it just the mask that you've seen? You haven't heard any voices or anything yet, have you? Well, besides your Zanpakuto spirit," he quickly added.

"Could you show me them Uncle? Please?" Katia asked, wanting to see what her parents looked like, silently wishing that she had memories of them.

" Sure I can." Tetsu said and looked through the pictures."Here they are. I think this was taken shortly after your parents were married." He said an handed her a picture of a young man with dark brown hair and a young woman about the same age with brown hair. Tetsu smiled at the memory of both Sam and Anya, knowing they would have been glad that their daughter was now safe with family." I have the violin that's in the picture if you would like it." He said.

" Just the mask." Katniss said, not sure if she had heard a voice while she had been fighting.

"If it's just the mask, then you'll be okay, for now anyways," Ichigo said. "You don't have to answer, but how much longer do you have for the old man's crazy bankai training?" Ichigo asked. He knew that she was close and was curious to see what would happen afterwards.

Katia took the picture into her hands, being careful with it. She saw the violin that her uncle was talking about in her father's hands, wondering how good he was with it. "You can keep it Uncle, until I find my own place to live," she said. Although once all of this was over, she'd like to learn how to play.
