Katia followed Hoshi down the stairs, not knowing exactly when her escort would be there for her. While she knew it was necessary, at some times it annoyed her so.

Ryuken cursed after hearing that information, but was glad that his son had bonded with her over the last few weeks. "I wish I had known those bastards were still alive. They give us Quincies a bad reputation. I may hate most shinigami in soul society, but I was just going to live under the radar," he said.

" I hate it that they are still around and hurt our families. I also fear that the Vandenreich might try to capture both Katia and Hoshi to try to find where Saya is staying. " Tetsu added.He had told Kisuke about Hoshi's vision and was glad that he had Yoruichi helping keep Katia safe. He didn't want it to come true and would fight his hardest to keep his family safe.

"Why do you think that?" Ryuken asked. He had an idea as to why they would think that, but it could have also been because of a vision that Hoshi had, knowing full well the powers that Hoshi had, both her father's, and her mother's.

" Hoshi had a vision and I fear that it might come true. I just want to be sure both Katia and Hoshi are safe. I fear the Vandenreich would do terrible things to both of them. " He added.

"What did the vision entail?" Ryuken asked. He knew that now would definitely be helping them fight, but he wouldn't say it, not yet anyways, especially since he knew they would be aiming to take the rogue members of the quincy.

In the dream, Hoshi and Katia were fighting hollows and somehow they got separated. Hoshi tried to get to her and she said it felt like she was being restrained by someone and saw Katia being taken. I don't know if Hoshi had the vision again last night, but if she did she could have seen a bit more." Tetsu said.

"Then perhaps the vision will change, since I'll be helping in this fight," Ryuken said. "I know I haven't been the best...father to my son, but I want to help in any way I can. I owe it to Katia's parents."

" I hope it does. I am grateful for your help Ryuken. I owe it to Sam and Anya too. "Tetsu said glad that Ryuken was helping them. He knew how powerful his brother in law was.

"You're welcome. I just want Katia to be safe. Speaking of which, where is she now?"

"Katia is staying with me and Hoshi. Kisuke said it would be best if she was with me. She'll still be working at his shop,but I know that she's safe there. "Tetsu said hearing the girls talk in the kitchen.

"That crazy shinigami?" Ryuken asked as he sighed lightly.

Tetsu chuckled a little bit." Don't worry she's safe there. From what I understand Yoruichi-sama has taken Katia under her wing and is helping her with a few things." Tetsu said.

"Oh good, then at least I don't have to worry about him corrupting Katia-chan," he replied with a small smile on his face.

"I don't either. I'm glad I was able to talk to you Ryuken. Maybe we could get together for dinner this week so you could see Katia and Hoshi again. " Tetsu suggested.

Ryuken nodded at that, as well as the suggestion to meeting Katia-san and Hoshi-chan, wondering if the girls remembered him.

" I think Hoshi might remember you, since you were there when Fumi was in the hospital. Katia I'm not really sure about. . " Tetsu said feeling sad. He missed Fumi very much and wished she could see her grandchildren together. " When would like to come for dinner? "He added.

"I think you should let the girls know first, just in case," Ryuken said. "And as fun as this was, I need to head to the hospital," he said.

Katia finished breakfast as she waited for Yoruichi.

" Alright. Sorry to keep you too long.Hope to hear from you again soon Ryuken." Tetsu said. He was glad that the conversation had gone well.

"You haven't kept me old friend. It's an emergency, as always," he said before getting up. "It was nice seeing you again Tetsu-san. For a shinigami, you aren't that bad...I suppose," he said, an inside joke between Ryuken and Tetsu.

" I suppose so too. " Tetsu said with a grin. " I'll let you know if anything does happen but I hope it doesn't. " Tetsu said.

Ryuken smirked as well. "I hope that is the case, but sometimes hope is also know as wishful thinking..." he said before leaving.

Katniss woke up, feeling sore all over. 'Guess Kurosaki and I overdid it yesterday... she thought to herself as she stretched, ignoring the pains in her body...and the voice of her Hollow.

Tetsu said goodbye and then joined the girls in the kitchen. He knew he had a little while before Yoruichi was here. " Sorry about not being here. Your Uncle Ryuken was here and we talked a little bit. He's agreed to keep both of you girls safe if the Vandenreich try to capture you. Also I have some really good news. " Tetsu said.

Hoshi was glad her uncle was going to help them. She remembered him a little bit from when her grandma was sick. She also wondered what the good news was.

"Isn't he Ishida-kun's father?" Katia asked, unsure about it.

" He is. He also was married to your Aunt Sanae.She died when Uryu was young. " Tetsu said sadly.

"Oh," Katia said. Even though she didn't know them personally, she still felt bad. "If you don't mind me asking...how did she die uncle?" she asked.
