Hoshi got Indigo Fog ready in Shikai form and saw Yoruichi give the signal. Hoshi immediately had to dodge a claw from one hollow and the tail of another she slashed the first one on the mask and got knocked back by another. She used her amplifying ability to block the strikes as best she could. Hoshi hoped the others were having an easier time than she was.

(nice. I hope that you enjoyed it. "Blunt the Knives, bend the forks. smash the bottles and burn the corks. These are the things Billbow hates," XD. I was finishing up the midseason finale of Arrow so it's all good.)

Tatsuki was surprised when three Hollows came for her at once and that surprise cost her as the three Hollows each scored a hit against the raven-haired beauty...or they would have if it wasn't for Ryuuenjin's shield of fire that wrapped around it's user in a helix-like shape. Growling lightly at herself for the act of stupidity, she got herself back into the right frame of mind.

( I did. I thought it was as close to the book as they could get, though there are two more parts to it D: I thought waiting for the rest of the LOTR movies was bad. )
Katia dodged the hollows as she fired off arrows at them. She used the training she had gotten from Yoruichi to help her move a bit faster. She fell over from a tail swipe and fired an arrow toward the mask. She had to get stronger so she could free the Seer and fight her former allies.

(I agree with you, and I can't wait for the other two movies as well D: but it's better to have the book spread out throughout three movies unlike say something like "The Last Airbender")

Ichigo was surprised to see several Arrancar-like Hollows during his battle, but he quickly ducked and rolled away from the attacks. Raising back to his feet, he drew Zangetsu to his side as he looked at the four Hollows that the cube made for him. "Alright then...let's do this," he said as he brought down his Hollow Mask, knowing that he would need his Inner Hollow's powers.

( that movie was a disaster. I just hope someone remakes it gives A:TLA a good movie someday. I would say it could be worse , but someone is trying to make Bleach into a live action movie. I just don't see how it could be done. )

Hoshi felt a surge of energy and charged toward the hollows. She was using the full ability of her shikai to defeat them and was feeling stronger as she did that. She also wondered if she had just mastered her amplifying ability when she felt that surge of energy.

(Well, I've heard that the Kenshin live action movie is well done, and the Death Note Movies were also well done. But Bleach...I dunno. Just seems wrong somehow and yes, A:TLA needs a GOOD movie representation. Speaking of the Bleach movie...where did you hear about this and can I have a link to said info?)

Ichigo felt the surge of energy as well as he chopped off one of the Arrancar's arms. 'Hoshi?' he thought to himself as he turned around and stabbed Zangetsu into the mask portion of the Arrancar's face. 'What the hell was that?' he then asked himself as he felt danger coming from behind him. Ducking down, he saw a claw fly by him, where his head was just a second ago. 'Did Hoshi's energy do this? I'm not this ungodly fast...even in Vizard mode' he thought to himself before a Hollow tore through him...or so the Hollow thought. 'This is definitely Hoshi's amplifying ability...I couldn't do that unless I was in Bankai....' he started to think as an evil idea started coming to him.

Katia also felt the surge of energy and knew it wasn't her. " It has to be Hoshi-chan. I can't fight this hard even if I use all my energy to do so. " Katia thought to herself as she finished off the hollows. She hoped her cousin would be alright.


Hoshi continued to fight the hollows as their numbers thinned out. She knew that she wasn't usually this strong in shikai and had a feeling that it was her amplifying ability increasing her strength. She finished of the hollows and quickly sat down. She was feeling really tired after that sudden increase.

(like the many comments on that article...I'm somewhat open to this, but I'd rather wait until it came to video first IF it comes out in the first place. *looks at DBZ:Evolution, the Street Fighter films, Super Mario Bros. Movie, etc)

"Yoruichi felt the surge of power and was surprised that it came from Hoshi, seeing as she burnt out the cube a few minutes ago. She needed to make a mental note to have some speedsters mixed in with the flexible fighters and the power hitters. She had a feeling that Ichigo was also done, although she noticed that every time she used Shunpo, she was able to react faster and go into another shunpo even quicker than usual.

Tetsu had felt the surge energy when he had pulled in the drive way. He had good idea that it was Hoshi and hurried inside. He wasn't too worried that something was wrong, but he wanted to be sure everyone was alright. He got out of his Gigai and headed down to the training area.

(no prob. Was on an anime binge. Finished Lunar Legend Tsukihime (good anime btw) and halfway through Volume 2 of Melody of Oblivion)

Ichigo saw Tetsu appear in the training area in his shinigami form and wondered what was going on, hoping that Hoshi was okay.

Tetsu saw Hoshi looking tired and hurried toward her." Repress your energy as best you can. This will help your body adjust to the increase in power." He said with a smile. He was proud that his daughter had mastered her amplifying ability.


Hoshi nodded and did so. She didn't feel as tired as she had before and could feel the energy suppress. She knew that it would be easier to use this ability now that she had mastered it.

(They are. Although Tsukihime is short with only 12 eps sadly.)

Yoruichi saw and heard what Tetsu was saying as she sent a command to stop the cubes from sending out Hollows. The ex-captain had a feeling that Hoshi was feeling very tired right now after that stunt.

Tetsu left Hoshi to rest a bit and headed toward Yoruichi . He wanted to know what had happened when Hoshi had mastered her ability." Did anything happen during the training that seemed odd?" He asked Yoruichi, hoping that everything that had gone alright today.

" I'm thinking Hoshi has mastered her amplifying ability. I could sense last night that she was close but wasn't sure how close. Did you suddenly feel a sudden burst of energy during the training? " Tetsu asked. He knew that was good sign that her ability was working right now all Hoshi needed to do was use it during a battle.

" It is a good thing.The sudden burst usually does affect those in close contact, but it's nothing to worry about. "Tetsu said. " I'm thinking tomorrow if those cubes can simulate something that would require some team work. That way Hoshi can practice some at this new level. " Tetsu suggested.

" Sounds good. I do have a feeling Katia got a bit stronger today too. I just hope that both girls will be protected enough tonight. I plan to teach them meditation technique to help protect their visions. " Tetsu said.

Hoshi tried to explain to everyone what had happened, but wasn't sure herself." I hope everyone's okay after that burst happened. I really didn't expect it . " Hoshi said.

" It's okay Hoshi-chan. I felt I could move faster and shoot stronger arrows while I fought. " Katia said feeling the burst of energy had improved her strength as a Quincy. She was glad that she had friends that were willing to help her gain experience and not judge her because of her power.


Hoshi nodded and was glad that no one was hurt. She hoped it was enough to fight the Vandenreich fearing they still wanted her.

Hoshi laughed a little bit at the exchange between both Tatsuki and Ichigo. She was glad that every one was doing better. She wondered where Ishida had gone but knew he would be fine. She remembered Saya telling her today that her aunt had bought a house here in Karakura town to be closer to her niece. Hoshi still worried that Saya was in danger because she was the second key.

" Would you like to stay for dinner Yoruichi-San? I'm making spaghetti tonight. I'm trying to help Katia try new foods since it seems she hadn't had many different kinds with the Vandenreich. " Tetsu said and wondered if that was part of the brainwashing Travis had once told him about. He cringed thinking of what Katia went though the last 10 years.
