" Good job. The reason your bow has a reddish tint to it, is because you are an elemental Quincy.My elements are Ice and poison. Your's is fire. " Naomi said and explained a bit about what elemental Quincies were to her cousin.

" She was given the antidote. We should let Captain Unohana know that Jessica is starting to wake up. " Katniss said and stood up.

Jessica was feeling better and could feel she was in a bed someplace. She now could sense Shinigami around her, and was feeling a bit afraid to open her eyes.

"That's actually interesting..." Karin said, surprised that she was a special type of Quincy. "What about Aniki?" She asked.

"I think it's better if I stay here with Jess-chan, just in case," Rue replied, hoping that Katniss was okay with it.

" Ichigo is like grandpa and your mom. His style of fighting as a Shinigami fits his Quincy powers. I have a feeling once you are ready for your Shinigami powers, there's a good chance they will be fire based. Now imagine an arrow and pull back on the string. " Naomi said. She had a feeling that soon Karin would be hearing the voice of her Zanpaktou spirit.

Katniss nodded that she understood. She knew that Rue and Jessica had been through a lot. She was glad that she found Unohana so quickly and told her that Jessica was waking up.

Jessica could sense Rue close by and smiled. She didn't know if it showed on her face, but was happy that her friend was there. She could sense a powerful presence nearby and wondered if it was the woman in her vision.

"Like Tatsuki-chan?" Karin asked, thinking that it would be interesting to have a sword like that. She shook her head lightly before getting back to the task at hand. She needed her full concentration on this.

"Thanks Kat," Rue responded before seeing Jessica starting to wake up. "I thought I said you couldn't fall asleep Jess-chan," Rue teased her, glad that she was awake, although whether she was alive or not would have to be determined by Unohana-sama. She assumed that the female Seer was still alive since she didn't see a chain of fate, but anything was possible, especially when it came to that poison.

" Right. Now pull the arrow you have formed and hit the target that's closest to us." Naomi said seeing there were still practice targets down here.

"I know you did, but I couldn't help it." Jessica said in a low voice, still not fully awake. She was having trouble seeing and hoped her bad eyesight wasn't an effect of the poison.

Karin nodded as she fired her arrow at the target, and pulled a little to the left, missing the target completely. Luckily, the resulting fire from the arrow quickly vanished, thanks to the special properties of the room. Not being deterred, she notched another arrow and took aim, this time hitting her target.

"Are you okay?" Rue asked in concern after explaining where she was. She was going to wait until Unohana-sama came back, not wanting to raise her hopes of being alive.

" You're doing great. Now try to hit the target directly behind hit. Don't worry if you don't hit it this time , since this is your first training session. " Naomi said encouragingly.

" I'm having a little trouble seeing , but I think I'm still alive. " Jessica said and saw the dark haired woman from her vision.

Unohana could sense how weak Jessica was feeling but knew the girl would live. She knew if they had arrived later to rescue Rue and Jessica, it might have been too late for Jessica.

"Alright," Karin replied before trying to do what Naomi said.

"I think you're alive as well Jess-chan, though I don't think that's permanent, but I would wait and see what Unohana-sama says about it," Rue replied to Jessica before seeing Unohana enter the room.

" Rue-San is right Jessica. Your eye sight should be back to normal in a couple of days. It would be best though if you didn't have any visions till then. I have a sedative that will help you get real sleep and will heal the areas in your brain that have been strained these last few days. " Unohana said kindly. " Rue-San,your captain wishes to speak with you. Pay no mind to his agrivattion, he's just upset he had to stay out of the fighting this time. " Unohana said.


Ren felt a change in the air and knew something important had just happened. He had a feeling the leader of the Vandenreich was no more, but wouldn't be sure until the Vandenreich here felt it too.


Hoshi was having a hard time staying close to Katia and Minato, having a sinking feeling the part where she was grabbed was about to happen and decided she wasn't going to be taken away without a fight.

"Am I...still alive?" Jessica asked, a little afraid of the answer. She knew that she was in Soul Society, but that didn't mean she was completely in the clear. She was glad that her eyesight would return to normal eventually and nodded to the sedative that...Unohana, she thought her name was, suggested for her to take. If it would make her sleep without having visions for a while, she was all for it.

Rue nodded and exited out of the room, promising Jessica that she would return later. She nodded absently at the warning of Kenpachi's agrivation, and if nothing else, she could always yell at him for being a stupid brute. Usually it was Katniss's job to yell at their captain for not thinking everything through, but she did it herself from time to time.

Minato was having trouble keeping in range of Hoshi, knowing that she could be captured at any time during this battle. He could have flash stepped to her position, but then it would leave Katia vulnerable as well. Mentally cursing towards himself, he kept an eye on the girl as often as he could, while using his blade to cut through the Hollows and any Vandenreich members that tried getting close to him. If one thing was certain: Minato was not going down without a fight.

" You are still very much alive Jessica. " Unohana said with a kind smile. " Your parents are someplace safe now and you will be able to join them once you are well. " She added, glad that Jessica's parents had accepted the protection.

Hoshi flash stepped to where Minato and Katia were , since the fighting seemed to be dying down. She knew there would be a short peace , but had a feeling there was another evil in the shadows.

"Thank you. Can I have that sedative now, please? I'm tired..." she said in-between yawning. She was glad that her parents were safe.

"Hoshi...you okay?" Minato asked as he used his senses to scan around the area. Just because the fighting was starting to die down did not mean that he could relax just yet. Especially since the two Rogue shinigami that the two warned him about had yet to make their presence felt.

" You may. I'll be back soon to give it to you, but for now just try to relax. " Unohana said, before she left.


" It just feels like it usually does when a big battle is over. I feel someone else will make themselves known soon. " Hoshi said. She suddenly sensed the foul reaitsu she had sensed in her dream and kept close to Katia and Minato. She had a feeling Snow and Coin would do anything to separate the group. She could sense other Shinigami close by too and hoped they would capture the traitors.

"I'll try," Jessica replied, hoping that her friend wasn't getting into trouble because of her and what happened. Sighing lightly, she unfocused on her sense of sight, allowing everything that was still blurry get even blurrier while still keeping her other senses sharp. She didn't want to fall asleep without that sedative, having a feeling that having a vision now would do more harm than good.

Minato nodded, knowing what she meant by that.

Coin and Snow had been captured by the shinigami that had been stationed in Karakura during the battle. They had discussed earlier that neither of them would willingly tell their enemies who they really were working for. They knew now their leader had no control over the remaining Vandenreich and he had feared them becoming allies with the Shinigami.

It had been a few days since the battle with the Vandenreich and Hoshi was worried. She hadn't had a vision since the fight but still had a feeling that something would happen soon. She looked at her clock ,seeing that it was almost time for her and Katia to wake up,and laid there till it did sound.

Naomi walked into the hospital and checked in for her morning shift. So far things were going well and liked working for her Uncle Isshin. She was to meet with the Director today and was a bit nervous. The meeting was about her progress so far, but had an odd feeling her Quincy powers would be brought up. She gripped her pendant to channel the nervousness she felt about that thought.

Ryuken waited for Naomi to come in, knowing that she was suppose to have a meeting with him. He had a few questions concerning Elemental Quincies and was hoping that she would answer them.

" I hope I didn't keep you waiting long Doctor Ishida. " Naomi said and gave a polite bow. She relaxed a little bit knowing being tense around other Quincy was often thought as disrespect to some.

" How did you sleep last night?' Hoshi asked Katia once her cousin woke up. " Looking forward to starting your online classes today?" She added with a smile.

"Not at all Naomi-san," Ishida replied, glad that she made it on time and glad that she had closed the door behind her. "If I may ask, how do you like working with your uncle?"

" I'm liking it very much. I'm glad that I'm able to help with some of the patients he has been getting. " Naomi said. She had closed the door so no one could over hear their conversation when talked about things that very few people understood. She also was happy that Karin and Ichigo were doing well with their training so far.

"I'm glad to hear that. I've also heard some rumors about your nephew and niece. Now I'm not going to do anything with the knowledge, I'm just curious since I've heard from my son that both Ichigo-san and Karin-chan have developed abilities as a Quincy and Elemental Quincy, correct?" He asked.

" You are correct. I'm helping my cousin Karin with her Elemental abilities and my grandfather is helping Ichigo with his." Naomi said, She was glad her grandparents had decided to stay a few extra days to help her cousins adapt to being Quincies.
