"I didn't know..." Ichigo said, although he wished he did know. He was glad that Naomi was telling him all about his family though, extended as it was. "You know...I'm kinda glad that we didn't have to face any elemental Quincies yet," he said after a while of walking.

( I know. But I am ready for warmer weather. I want to bike to work again.)

" I am to. I don't know how one would react to the Shingami that are here in the first place. If I was so afraid of them who knows if other Elementals have had similar encounters like I had as a child." Naomi said. She hoped no one had faced the same thing she had.

(I'm fine either or. I wear shorts year-long after all...)

Ichigo nodded at that. "Or with me and Grand Fisher," he added. He would have said more but he noticed that they were at her apartment.

( lol. It's too cold for shorts, but hopefully by the end of April I can wear my capri pants. )

"See you tomorrow. I should be at the clinic at 10. Thanks Ichigo for walking me home." Naomi said with a smile. She felt the air get heavy and had a feeling there was a good chance there would be hollows tonight.

Katniss was already fighting hollows and could sense them multiply in the area. She knew she would need help with this. And hoped the others could sense them too.


Setsuna was fighting the hollows that had appeared out of nowhere in front of her building a few minutes ago. She had gone to store for some food and had just put the bags inside of entrance to the apartment that was above the store she now owned. She drew back an arrow that appeared invisible even to Quincy and let go. Setsuna's preferred element was wind , but sometimes used ice arrows along with her wind arrows.

Ichigo sighed lightly, wishing he could get home in order to safely become a shinigami, but knew that there wasn't enough time. Even if he did have the luxury, he didn't want someone innocent to suffer because his selfish desires. His Quincy powers would have to do for the time being. Fishing his cell phone out of his pocket, he quickly called home. "Dad? Hey, it's me. Tell Karin to get out and join the fight," he said before hearing some complaints from his father. "No, I'm not joking. She's going to join this fight if we want to or not, and it's easier if we gave her permission," Ichigo said before closing the phone, sighing lightly.

'I hate to say this, but he's just like me when it comes to those two,' he thought to himself before heading towards the battle, forming his bow as he ran. He didn't want to be caught unawares when he entered the fight.

Tatsuki was just about ready to go to sleep when she started to sense the multitude of Hollows in the area, more in one of the areas downtown. 'That's odd,' she thought to herself before sighing lightly and started channeling energy to her necklace, the very same that she was just about to take off. Now that she was in the black robes of the shinigami, she quickly headed to the scene.

"I hope I'm not too late..." she muttered to herself as she headed off into the night.

Hoshi was also fighting the hollows with her dad and Katia close as she fought. Tetsu had thought he had felt something off before the hollows had appeared, and that was while he had been thanking Kisuke for the book of kido spells. He had been shocked to learn than Gin was alive and would make sure Hoshi and Katia would remain safe.


Naomi could sense the hollows in the air but also could sense the Shinigami in the area fighting them. She also sensed a presence of a Quincy that she didn't recognize near by and wondered who that person was. Right now she was talking to Satoshi about thier wedding date and they both had decided on the first weekend in September. She was happy that they finally could set things up for that day.

Katniss growled in annoyance as she pierced another mask with an arrow from her Shikai, starting to get annoyed by this. Tonight was suppose to be easy and then tomorrow she was going to enjoy a day of peace and quiet in a small she found in order to practice her archery. 'I guess that might have to be change,' she thought to herself, hoping that she could keep this up long enough so that help could come.

A half-hour later, she made her first mistake. She had dodge rolled underneath one of the Hollows attempted tail swings, but didn't account for the crack in the ground that tripped her up. Seeing the Hollow beside her, she knew that she was about to be in pain, something she was use to. However, the strike, nor the pain, never came. She did; however, grit her teeth in annoyance when she saw the person who saved her and the smirk that was on his face.

"Miss me Catnip?"

Setsuna thought she sensed another Quincy nearby ,but continued to fight the hollows that were on her street. She had moved to the roof, knowing that here she could hide from the shinigami if they came looking for her.

"I miss you as much as I miss my old captain, not that much. You gonna help or talk?" Katniss asked as she broke her bow down into it's sword form as she blocked a claw strike, struggling with the Hollow before surprise was etched on her face as the Hollow quickly disappeared.

"Katniss, go and get some higher ground. You'll be better off as a sniper at this point," Ichigo said as he shot three arrows at three different Hollows

Naomi had said goodbye to Satoshi and hurried to the roof of her apartment building. She liked being a sniper to hollows since it always to her advantage as a Quincy. She sensed other Shinigami arriving in the area and was glad there was more help.

Setsuna was having a hard time concentrating, since she sensed more Shinigami in the area. She wasn't going to leave this spot till very last hollow was gone. She wiped back the tears, since it was a night like this 10years ago her parents had been killed by hollows and taken by a Shinigami. She never understood why she was allowed to survive that night.

Tatsuki sensed a Quincy in the distance and hoped that whoever it was, was on their side. "Alright Ryuu, you ready for some work?" she asked her zanpakuto, hearing Ryu's voice in her mind asking if she was ready, causing Tatsuki to chuckle lightly. 'You know me Ryu-kun. I'm always ready for a fight.

'Then why haven't you told Ichigo about your feelings?'

'Not the time!' Tatsuki thought to her zanpakuto partner as she sliced off a tail of one of the Hollows, before piercing it's mask. What she didn't see though was the Hollow that made it's way behind her, but it was quickly taken care of by an arrow that broke the speed of light.

"Oi, Ryu-chan, keep an eye on your six!" He shouted, ducking under a swing of claws, staying close to the ground as he felt one of Katniss's arrows pierce another mask. He rolled to the side as a Hollow's foot stomped where he was kneeling just a few seconds ago. He then saw an arrow of flame piercing the Hollow's foot, a smirk appearing on his face, glad that his sister was finally entering the fray. He just hoped that she could hold her own.

Naomi could sense Karin fighting and hoped she could hold her own during this fight. She had a feeling Isshin would be keeping a close eye on Karin, since this was her first fight. Naomi was glad the numbers were going down, but was worried this was only the beginning of many fights.

Naomi dissolved her bow and got scared. Naomi went to the door that led to the stairs and quickly shut the door behind her and quickly reduced her reiatsu as she went down to her apartment sensing someone nearby. She hoped she got away without being noticed. She still was very nervous that Gin would try to talk her.

Naomi started to run to the door , wanting to be inside quickly. She would say she was late getting paperwork done, but in reality she was being careful on being seen. She was relieved to finally be inside the building. She knew that doors didn't mean anything to a being that regular people didn't know about. She locked her apartment and closed the blinds and held her pendant in her hand trying to calm down.

Victorai saw the spiritual barrier go up once Naomi entered her apartment. 'Well now I know where she lives... she thought to herself as she stretched out, making sure to stay invisible. She was here purely for recon purposes.

Ichigo was glad that the battle was over, glad that Karin did well for her first battle.

Asami had arrived just in time to help with the fighting and hurried to Urahara's. He knew she was coming, but Hoshi didn't. She wanted to surprise her friend tomorrow. She waited in the front of the shop feeling a bit nervous , since she didn't recognize the Reiatsu she felt in the air.

[color="pink"]"It's been a while, hasn't it Kisuke-san?" Asami asked with a small grin on her face as she entered the store. As soon as she did, the smile evaporated from her face. "I've heard about the news...Is Nel-chan doing okay?" she asked.
