"I was thinking of that as well, then this came up," Toushiro said with a small sigh. "Though I'm glad that Tetsu is safe. I'd hate to see Katia-san and Hoshi-chan cry."

" I'm glad he is safe too. I don't ever want to go through the pain of losing him again. " Saburo said solemnly and was glad that Tetsu was alive.

Toushiro nodded as he entered the barracks knowing that Rangiku or Hoshi would sense him soon enough.

"Want to greet Toshiro-San?" Hoshi suggested. She had a feeling she could trust this other person and that they might be family.

Katia nodded at Hoshi's suggestion, knowing that she would be able to get out quicker if it was a trap thanks to Indigo Fog.

Hoshi and Katia had thought up a plan incase someone tried to capture them and indigo fog had agreed to help. She hated it when her weiler became a target and knew it was her duty as a Zanpaktou to help keep her weiler safe. Hoshi opened the door and looked out carefully. " The coast is clear. " She said.

Katia smiled lightly and thanked Hoshi for checking to make sure the coast was clear before heading out with her. She hated the fact that she couldn't sense something like this and had to rely on Hoshi for these things.

Hoshi saw Captain Hitsugaya with a man that looked like and older version of her dad. She saw he had green eyes like she did and wondered if this was her dad's uncle. Tetsu had once said green eyes were common in the Matsuda family.

Toushiro grinned lightly when he saw the two girls emerge from the chambers that they were occupying. "Saboru-san, I'll let you get reacquainted with them. I'll be in my office if any of you need me," he said, silently moaning to himself having a feeling that there would be a mountain load of paperwork waiting for him.

Saburo nodded. " It's nice to finally meet you girls. I'm your Uncle Saburo." He said,seeing both girls were cautious. He didn't blame them after the events of earlier." I do have good news to tell you. Tetsu is alive ." He said.
" You're my dad's uncle.I'm Hoshi." She replied and was happy that her dad was alive. Matsumoto groaned as she worked on her portion of the paperwork. She normally didn't do it ,but since she had been a part of the battle , she was required to do her share. |
Katia remembered some of the stories that uncle told them about the member of the Royal Guard. Grinning lightly, Katia was glad to have met him.
Toushiro was surprised to see Matsumoto actually doing work and just stared at her for a few seconds, not believing what he was seeing. |
"Is everything okay?" Matsumoto asked. She knew this was a shocking site to see, but she was getting tired of being irresponsible.

"You're actually doing paperwork?" Toushiro asked, still a little shocked.

" I am. I'm tired of being so irresponsible. I'll still slack off, but I figure the less paperwork that you have to do the less stressed you will be. "Matsumoto said. All of the captains were stressed to the max with preparing to fight Gin again.

"Who are you and what have you done to my lieutenant?" Toushiro asked.

" It's me. To prove it, after this I'll go be lazy again. " Matsumoto said with a grin.

"Yeah it's you. You're hilarious," Toushiro deadpanned.

" Unless there's something you need me to do instead. " Matsumoto asked. She wanted to make sure the girls were having a good day on their day off.

"Right now the girls are with their Uncle Saburo from the Royal Guard. He wants to also reopen the Kido Corps," Toushiro admitted.

" He does?! That sounds great. I know Momo would be interested in joining but I think she's happy where she is. Captain Hirako wouldn't want her to leave. " Matsumoto said.

I know Momo-chan would want that as well, but it is her decision, not mine," he said.

Matsumoto nodded. " I'm glad Tetsu-San is safe. I would have hated to see the girls sad. " She said knowing that meeting their uncle was a good thing.

"As would I," Toushiro replied with before sitting down. Even though Matsumoto was doing paperwork as well, he knew that he needed to do his own share of the work as well. Though he hoped that he would be able to finish it by the afternoon and hang out with Hoshi and Katia, or train.

" Did my dad always want to be a Shinigami ?" Hoshi asked Saburo. She wanted to know more about the Matsuda family and knew he could tell her. She wondered a lot about her family and wondered who else she was related to.

"He did. He actually told our father that if he couldn't be a shinigami then he would continuously nag him until he would cave in," Saburo admitted, remembering the events.
