"I think I understand," Rukia said before she got up and deposited her trash into the trash bin, Tatsuki and Ichigo following her example.
"When we find one you'll see. Although I can see you doing fine on DDR," Ichigo said with a straight face. |
Hoshi got up and put her trash in the bin. She went with the others toward the arcade. She was glad the day was going well and hoped it would remain that way for the rest of it.

Ichigo saw the arcade in the distance and grinned lightly, keeping an eye on the three girls. He would openly admit that he was a little overprotective when it came to his friends, but he knew his name meant protector and he did his best to balance his self-proclaimed duty and not being too overprotective. Hey, wait a second...isn't this arcade free for two random hours daily? he asked himself.

Hoshi noticed that it was fairly busy . Hoshi wasn't sure where to go first. She wouldn't be too far from her friends as she played, knowing that she had to be aware of what was happening.

Ichigo saw Hoshi hovering near the group as he looked around to find something he liked to play. He stayed far away from the fighting games, knowing that Tatsuki liked those type of games and quickly saw her challenging someone which caused Ichigo to sigh and feel pity for him.
"You okay Star-chan? Aizen wouldn't try something so stupid as to attack in broad daylight. Relax and have fun," Ichigo said. |
" I'm okay. I'm sorry about being so tense. I dont know what to expect anymore. I promise to have fun." Hoshi said with a small smile and headed toward one of the puzzle games. She would have fun . She believed Ichigo when he said Aizen woulnt attack during the day. Today was going to be a great day.

Ichigo was going to respond before Hoshi went off and shook his head, knowing that would somehow be too overprotecting. He shrugged his shoulders and went over to the Action section of video games, raising an eyebrow when he saw a DDR Machine. Tempting...I wonder how Rukia would fare at this? he thought to himself for a few minutes as a smirk grew on his face. He'd have to persuade Tatsuki to do a dance off with Rukia. He had an image to uphold after all.

Hoshi played a puzzle game for a little bit. She liked those types of games. She decided next to try a fighting game. Hoshi wasn't very good at them but she still liked to play them as much as puzzle games.

"Rukia was looking around, not sure exactly what she would find that would fantasy her. However, she was content at watching other people play the arcade games, and try not to be annoying.

Hoshi continued to play for a little while longer. She took a short break after losing a round. She walked around a little bit to ask Any of her friends if they would like to play DDR with her. She liked to play it with someone when she did play it.

Rukia noticed Hoshi walking around as if she was looking for someone. I wonder what she's doing she thought to herself before heading over towards Hoshi.

Hoshi saw Rukia and waved. "Would you like to play DDR with me Kuchiki-San? It's not too hard of a game once you get use to the levels ." Hoshi said with a smile. She thought of how much her dad liked the game. They had it at home and often tried to see who missed the least steps.

Rukia nodded, thinking that the game looked fun. She did however voice that she didn't know if she could go at the speed that the other people playing were at. Some of the reaction times looked insane. "I'll give it a try," the young Kuchiki said, unsure about it but willing to give it a shot.

" It takes a little bit to get use to. I'll start it out on easy mode." Hoshi said with a smile. She put money in the machine for the both of them and selected easy mode. Truth be told, Hoshi liked this mode the best , unlike her dad who liked expert mode the best and still said it was too easy.

Rukia watched Hoshi place money into the machine and got onto the pad, copying her before hearing her. "Alright..." she said before putting on her Noble's face, not letting her fear get the best of her.

They did a slow paced song . After it ended she asked ," What did you think? You did really good." She would understand if Rukia didn't want to try it again.

"It was fun. Can we do another song?" Rukia asked, hoping that Hoshi would say yes.

" Sure ! Would you like it at the same level or one up? " Hoshi asked before setting up the machine.

"One level up" Rukia said instantly.

"Sounds good to me.I hope you like this game. " Hoshi said as she selected one level up. There was still enough money in the machine for another level after this.

Rukia grinned and was having fun on the dancing machine. She kept her focus on the game, looking down only once when there was a pause in the dancing. She didn't even notice Ichigo come behind them and start watching.

Hoshi was having fun. The round ended and noticed Ichigo was watching them. " Hi Ichigo. How long have you been watching ? " She said.

"Just for a couple of minutes. I see you haven't forgotten your DDR Practice after introducing you to the game," He said grinning lightly.
"Wait a second...you play this game too?" Rukia asked as Ichigo nodded quickly, so that only the girls could see it. This caused Rukia to smirk. |
" Of course I remember it. It's one of my favorites. " Hoshi said with a smile. " There's one round left . Ichigo would you like my spot so you can play?" She had the feeling he wanted to.

Ichigo shrugged his shoulders. "Sure, why not? You okay with it Rukia?" Ichigo asked as the shinigami girl nodded her head. "Alright then. Fair warning, I usually do medium so don't look over at my screen, it will screw you up, and girls?" He asked, getting a look from the two of them. "Mention this to anyone and I will deny it...venomously." He finished before turning back to the console and picking a song.
