"Shii-chan, cheer up," Ichigo said as he reached over and ruffled her hair lightly. "You'll have your chance to shine, I know you will," he said, almost as if he was reading her mind.

"You really think so?" Katia asked.
" I know you will Shii-chan. I understand how you are feeling. " Hoshi said, having felt that way when she had first become a Shinigami. |
"And you have all of us to help you, alright?" Ichigo asked, knowing that this was one day where sadness shouldn't be tolerated.

" I do." Katia said with a smile. She knew this was a day to be happy and not one to be sad.

Tatsuki knocked on Soi-fon's door, hoping that she wasn't interrupting anything. She wanted to destroy that oaf who dared call himself a Fuku-taichou...especially after the bully tried harming Orihime. No one got away with that sin. No one. |
Soi-Fon was finishing up some paperwork that lieutenant Omeda had turned in incomplete. She knew even Matsumoto was better at paperwork than he was. " Come in. " She said sensing Tatsuki there.

Tatsuki headed inside the office and noticed the look of irritation on her face immediately. "What's wrong?" she asked.

" Omeda. He turned in incomplete paper work again. " Soi-Fon said feeling frustrated.

"Again?" Tatsuki asked, confused.
|
" Again. How would you like to challenge him? He deserves anything that comes to him, but don't kill him" Soi-Fon said. She would just demote him to a much lower rank so he could prove himself. Though he knew that would never happen.

"Ichi-kun told me what he tried doing to 'Hime. That's our golden rule: No one hurts me and gets away with it from her, and anyone who hurts my princess gets away with it. I want to humiliate him," she snarled.

" Then he surely deserves his punishment. " Soi-Fon said with a slight grin. That rule reminded her of one Yoruichi had came up with when she first joined Squad 2. Soi-fon had a hard time fitting in then , since she had little confidence in herself at that time.

Tatsuki saw something in Soi-fon's eyes that showed as if she heard something like this before and wondered what it was. "...You were like Orihime was once, weren't you?" she asked.

" I was. I was the youngest child of many older brothers and knew it was my duty to be a Shinigami. But I didn't have the confidence like they had and it was Yoruichi-Sama who helped me gain the confidence I have today. " Soi-Fon said.

"Orihime had an older brother...the only person that she could call family. When he died...the girls in our school showed their true colors. The final straw was when they cut her hair...I was so furious that I acted out," Tatsuki said.

" People can be cruel. I'm glad Orihime-san has a friend like you. " Soi-Fon said with a smile. " Omeda is in the courtyard eating again. "Soi-Fon said thinking that idiot ate too much.

"Likewise with you and Yoruichi-sensei," Tatsuki replied. "I'll let you know that I may not be the greatest with paperwork...but I will be willing to learn," she added before bowing lightly as she exited her captain's quarters. She had yet another idiot to humiliate.

Soi-Fon was willing to teach Tatsuki how things were done here, knowing Tatsuki would be a good Lieutenant.

Tatsuki headed out to the courtyard where everyone, but her prey, were training. Grinning lightly she headed towards Omeda. If anyone who knew Tatsuki saw that grin on her face, they knew something big was going to happen. Once getting within hearing distance of the idiot, Tatsuki shouted, "Oi, fatso!"

" Who you calling fatso?" Omeda said to the dark haired girl. He had heard something about her ,but didn't care what it was. It wasn't like she wasn't going to beat him in a fight.

"Who do you think I'm talking to? You see anyone else out here that's as fat as you?" she asked, not realizing the crowd that was gathering. It wasn't often that one tried to attack the lieutenant, verbally or physically.
