"Sure, I'm ready to go," Subaro said, having a funny feeling that Tetsu was trying to set him back up with Kukaku. Though why he had no idea.

Tetsu got out of his Gigai and was sure it was someplace safe. " I usually open a gate in the backyard since its easier for it to open. Byakuya is meeting us at the other side. " Tetsu said since he always was afraid it would be Mayuri on the other side. He hatred going to Squad 12 these days since Kurotsuchi seemed to Blane him for everything.

"That actually makes sense," Subaro said with a light chuckle before getting out of his own gigai. "I've heard that the new captain of the twelfth division was bad, but how bad is he actually?" he asked.

" Really bad. He experiamented on close to 2000 Quincies over a 70 year period. Also he treats his subordinates terribly." Tetsu said and shuddered at the thought. He still feared that Kurotsuchi had done terrible things to Seers.

He scowled at what his brother said about the new captain. "How did he become captain if he does stuff like that?" he asked while raising an eyebrow.

" Kisuke said that he had promised Kurotsuchi the position of captain if anything had happened to him. You probably know the whole story how Kisuke ended up here. Sadly as far as I know there isn't anyone qualified to be a replacement , unless his third seat has achieved Bankai, though I wouldn't be surprised. These days Bankai outside the rank of captain is t unheard of. " Tetsu said.

"And yet Ichigo was able to do it easily, then again, he is Isshin's son..." Saburo said with a light chuckle as he waited for his brother to open up the portal to Soul Society. 'I wonder if Kukaku even remembers me,' he thought before mentally shrugging and would just hope for the best, but yet plan for the worst.

Kukaku was thinking again about Saburo. She often wondered what her life would have been if they had been allowed to marry all those years ago. Kukaku hoped the rumors were true that Saburo was back and that he would come and see her, since the elders were pressuring her to get married.

Byakuya was glad to see the brothers appear out of the gate.

" What happened ?" Tetsu asked sensing the tension in the air. He had a very bad feeling Gin was here or had been here to gather more souls.

Toshiro and Rangiku sensed Gin a little while ago. He's gone now, though both captain and vice captain went to check on your daughter and niece," Byakuya responded.

" That's good. I'm glad the girls are safe." Tetsu said. "I have a feeling you want to know why we both are here. Isshin told me that his younger brother Ganju was sent to find him by Kukaku. He wanted me to tell her that Ganju was successful. " He added. He did leave out that he was hoping Saburo and Kukaku still loved each other.

"I see. I can ask Rukia-chan to show you the way if you want," he said. The captain of the Sixth Division had a feeling that there was an ulterior motive here, but couldn't decide what it was. Nor did he care enough to ask about it.

" That would be helpful. Thank you." Tetsu said with a smile. He often wondered if Byakuya would find love again but knew that sometimes a person didn't to let go of the one they had lost.

Rukia had received the Hell Butterfly from her brother and quickly made her way towards his location. Once there, the Kuichiki princess saw her brother, Tetsu and Subaro.

Tetsu gave a wave to Rukia and had a feeling she would want to know the reason why both he and Saburo were here.


Kukaku didn't want to see anymore suitors since none of them treated her as an equal. She remembered how Saburo had and missed him. Kukaku had heard rumors that he was back and was going to start the Kido Corps again. She wondered if it was possible for them to meet again.

Rukia returned the wave to Tetsu and wondered why they were both here. 'I can always ask them later,' she thought before heading towards the three. "Nii-sama, you called for me?" she asked.

" I did. Tetsu-San and Saburo-sama need to find Kukaku and give her a message Ganju has told them. " Byakuya said. He wasn't a big fan of the Shiba clan but knew from stories that Saburo and Kukaku had been close to getting married at one point. He wondered if that was why Saburo was here.

"I see. I can show you the way, if you both want that is," Rukia said. She and the Shiba family didn't have the best of relationships but knew that had been resolved since then. However, she still blamed herself for his death, especially since she didn't have the heart to tell them that she destroyed the Arrancar that he had become.

" We do Rukia-San. " Saburo said. He had been greatly saddened at the death of Kaien and that Isshin had also been targeted by Aizen. He was glad that was behind them and gave him great resolve to stop Gin.

Rukia nodded and told them to follow her.

Rukia stood in front of the household, still marveling at the site that it created, even if it brought back some bad memories for her.

" Thank you so much Rukia-san." Tetsu said and knocked on the door to the house. He hoped Kukaku didn't think he was a suitor.

'If that's another suitor trying to get into my good graces, they're getting a kido to the face,' Kukaku thought before she opened the door. "Tetsu?" she asked, surprised. She was even more surprised to see Subaro behind Tetsu.
