Tetsu had the pot roast already in the oven and was working on the salad. It wasn't a big dinner but it would be enough for the guests that would be there tonight.

Saburo knew something was very wrong. He carefully made his way back to the Kido corps where he was meeting with a few of the captains.

" I'm sorry to keep you all waiting. "Saburo said. He had been back in the Royal Realm submitting the paperwork requred for him to remain a Royal Guard and be a captain again for the Kido Corps." I assume you all sense this odd feeling as well?" He asked.

The members of the Kido Corps nodded, saying that they had felt the oddness in the air, but that it also felt like Captain Hitsugaya's reiatsu.

" I thought he was in the Living World today." Saburo said and told them about the welcome home party Tetsu was throwing for the girls. He wasn't able to go but was glad his nieces were safe.

"He is sir," one of the members of the Kido corps said. "Could it possibly be someone else using his zanpakuto?" he asked.

"It could be. We need to check this out." Saburo said thinking of a shinigami who once had the same zanpakuto as Captain Hitsugaya.

The members nodded, knowing that it needed to be investigated as quick as possible.

" We should be careful though. This man was supposed to be dead." Saburo said since he had once met Sojiro Kusaka.

"Do we know what exactly happened?" she asked.

"No we don't. All I know was he left unarmed to Hueco Mundo and never returned. I was sent after that to investigate and declared him dead." Saburo said. " We need to notify Captain Hitusgaya about this. " He added. " Thought it is up to you Captain Yamamoto on what is done with Kusaka. "

"We will have to see what he does. It was because of the Council that he was banished in the first place, but we'll keep an eye on him. If he acts out like we believe he will, then we can attack him," Yamamoto replied. He wanted to believe that the time away from Soul Society helped the man for the better.

" I do hope he wasn't the one controlling Gin. " Saburo said and was concerned that man hadn't said a word since arriving back to Soul Society.

"I don't think that is possible sir," one of the members of the Kido Corps said.

" You may be right. Though anything is possible. " Saburo said not sure what to think.

"Exactly," Katniss said, having been briefed as to what was happening.

Hoshi was getting excited the closer dinner got and was happy when Tetsu called them down to dinner.

Both Soji and Toushiro were sitting and waiting for the girls to come down.

Hoshi and Katia were very happy to see Toshiro and Soji there. And both knew this was going to be a great time to get to know them a little better. Though Hoshi had a bad feeling someone was after Toshiro but didn't want the feeling to ruin dinner.

Both males greeted their ladies with a grin, Soji glad to see Katia and hoped that he could use this time off in order to get to know her better.
