" So how do you like the pot roast? It's a recipe I found on the internet several years ago." Tetsu said with a smile.

"It's very good sir," Soji responded after swallowing. It was actually the first time that he had had a pot roast, at least in this life.

" I like it too. " Katia said with a smile.
" Glad you like it. " Tetsu said with a smile. |
Hoshi nodded as well. Even though she had it in the past, she still liked her father's cooking.

"How about you Toshiro-san?" Tetsu asked seeing a worried look on the young captain's face.

"It's actually pretty good Tetsu-san," Toushiro replied with a light grin on his face.
|
" I'm happy you do. Does anyone want some dessert? It's watermelon sorbet." Tetsu offered.

"Yes please," both Soji and Katia responded, before getting a light giggle from Katia.

" Same here. What about you Toshiro -San? Hoshi asked.
|
"Yes, please," the ice captain replied.

Hoshi got up to help her dad dish out the sorbet and pass it out. She knew that something was going to happen but didn't know what.

Toushiro was silently glad that Katia seemed to have found someone, at least he hoped that was the case. He knew, however, that only time would tell. "Hoshi-chan, do you want any help?" he asked.
(think Toushrio's friend (his name escapes me atm) would notice the bond that he has with Hoshi?) |

" I would like that. " Hoshi said with a smile.It was nice to see Katia have a friend like Soji and hoped that he was the one for her cousin. |

Toushiro got out of his seat before moving to the kitchen and helping Hoshi and Tetsu with the sherbert. |
Hoshi liked spending time with Toshiro and thanked him for his help. " Are you alright?" She asked him seeing a worried look on his face.

"I seem to be sensing Hyourinmaru somehow, but that cannot be the case," Toushiro responded

" Didn't you tell me once a friend gave you Hyourinmaru? " Hoshi asked and was sure he did.

Toushiro nodded as a response. "He did, but it was more like I fought him for it. It was a long time ago though," he said, wondering if that was the case. Was his old friend back from the grave to torment him? And if so...would he go after Hoshi and Katia.

" Do you think he's after you after this long?" Hoshi asked concerned. She didn't want to see Toshiro hurt or worse, killed.

"It's possible," he admitted. He also had a feeling that Sojiro would go after Hoshi in order to get at him.

Hoshi wanted to be able to keep Toshiro safe ,since she knew there were many times he had kept her safe from herm. She just hoped she wouldn't be targeted.

'Odd...I don't sense my old friend here in Soul Society...I wonder where he could be,' Sojiro thought to himself knowing that only two other options were Hueco Mundo or the living world.

" Kusaka! What brings you here?" Saburo demanded. He was taking this risk but it had been approved by the captains. He knew his role as a Royal Guard wouldn't help this situation.

"Ah, little Subaro. My, you've grown up," Sojiro said with a light grin as he held his Hyourinmaru in the palm of his hand.

Subaro scowled. " If I remember correctly I'm a few years older than you are. Why are you here?" He asked hoping to stall Sojiro. He gripped the hilt of his Zanpaktou in case this got heated.
