Hoshi made it home and got changed into casual clothes. She ate her lunch and did her chores. She had her phone with her incase there were Hollows or Tatsuki needed her . Tetsu came home and he made dinner. Hoshi went upstairs to finish her homework . Just as she was about to get ready for bed her phone buzzed. She got out of her body and shunpoed toward the Hollows .

Rukia scowled as she attacked another hollow, backflipping into the air to dodge a tail that tried to lash around her while she was dealing with one of its partners in crime. Seeing a group of hollows waiting for her to come down from her jump, she incited the ritual for the Red Cannon Flame, causing several of the Hollows to be vaporized on the spot. Landing safely, she turned and blocked a set of claws, before feeling something attach to her and explode, causing her to cry out in pain from the surprise attack.

Hoshi arrived to block a Hollow from attacking Rukia.She dodged a claw swipe and brought her blade down on it's mask . She continued to fight the remainig few and afterwards rushed to Rukia to see if she was alright. " Are you alright Rukia -san? Would you like me to heal you ?" Hoshi said concerned for her friend wondering what had happened.

"I've been better. Thanks Hoshi-san," Rukia stated as she then asked her to be healed. As Hoshi healed her wounds, Rukia explained how she sensed a few Hollows while making her normal runs, and when she investigated more Hollows quickly appeared. "Someone is telling them what to do. They aren't this smart," she said after her wounds were finished healing.

" I agree. Tonight seems too similar to Wendsday's attack. " Hoshi said. " I don't like the feeling I'm getting about this at all." Hoshi said solemnly. She knew she needed to learn Bankai soon . She hated to skip school, but it was the only way.

"I don't like this feeling either. I'd hate to ask, but can you keep me being here a secret from Ichigo for just a little while longer? I want to actually surprise him for once." Rukia asked of her impromptu partner.
As Tatsuki was sleeping, someone was watching over her. If anyone walked in on the sleeping girl, they would not notice her uninvited guest, but the guest was there all the same. "Soon, Tatsuki. Very soon," he said before vanishing completely as the moon shined down on just the slumbering female, both her and her spirit none the wiser of his presence there just a few moments ago. |
" I promise I won't say a thing." Hoshi said . She knew that Ichigo would be able to see Rukia again soon. " Is there anything else you would like me to do before I head back home?"

"No, but thank you for offering, and thank you for keeping my presence a secret, for now anyways." Rukia said, once again thanking the younger shinigami for coming to her aid. She did, however, wonder where Tatsuki was.

" I better head home. I hope to see you again soon. " Hoshi said before she shunpoed home. She kept her guard up high ,and doing her best to hide her Reiastu while she slept, just in case something was after her. She drempt she was running through the streets of Karakura looking for help . She tripped in the dream and was knocked out. She woke up and saw someone's shoes. She felt she knew the person ,but not very well. She woke up , but soon went back to sleep.

Rukia nodded, hoping that she would see Hoshi again in the near future. She watched her shunpo off into the distance before she did the same, heading back to the room that Kisuke let her borrow for a short while. She didn't know that soon both Hoshi and Tatsuki would be in great danger.

Hoshi woke up the next morning and took her shower. She told her dad that she wasn't feeling well. Tetsu let her stay home, but knew something was up . He wouldn't say anything unless Hoshi felt like telling him. He had left for work and Hoshi got out of her body and put her zanpaktou on her lap. She hoped she would be done with training before her dad got home.
Hours later Hoshi woke up. Indigo had said she would have made the test more difficult , but sensed the urgency in Hoshi's heart.It was 4 in the afternoon and school had just gotten out. She hated to miss, but she knew something was about to happen. She wanted to be ready when it did. Hoshi got dressed and heard the door bell ring. She went down the stairs and looked out the door to see who it was. |
Ichigo woke up and did his usual normal routine and headed to school. He didn't see Tatsuki again, but figured that it was due to her flu. However, when he got to the gates, he noticed that Hoshi was also missing. He went into the building and sat down.
Once lunch came, Ichigo made his way to the roof, as did Chad and the others. |
Hoshi didn't see anyone but saw a delivery truck pull away. She opened the door and brought the package in. She knew it was something her dad had ordered online and she put it in the kitchen with the rest of the mail. She made sure the door was locked and sat down on the couch. She hoped someone would stop over. She felt guilty for not being there today , but knew she did it for a good reason.She laid on the couch and fell asleep. Training always made her tired but today she was exhausted . Training for Bankai was much more difficult than she had expected it to be.
" Something bothering you Kurosaki?" Ishida asked during lunch . He knew it was unusual for Hoshi to miss class and had the feeling something was up.He knew that both Tatsuki and Hoshi ment alot to Ichigo . |
"It's probably nothing," Ichigo replied, knowing that the Archer was just looking out for him. "It isn't like Hoshi to miss class though." he mumbled to himself before taking a bite of his sandwich.

" I agree it is unusual. Are you going to check on her after school or would you like me to?" Ishida offered.

"I'll go and check on her after school let's out. I don't think she would trust you, especially since you're constantly throwing the 'I don't want you here' vibe," Ichigo said. He had an idea, but that was all it was.

Ishida nodded his head. He decided it would be useless to argue that he did like having Hoshi around. The bell rang to signal the end of the lunch period.And he headed back to class .

Ichigo heard the bell as well and stood up, wondering what was going on with Hoshi.

Hoshi woke up and sat on the couch . She knew if Ichigo stopped by , she would have to tell him why she stayed home. It was difficult sometimes to keep things from him, but she knew that she had to until he got his powers back . Hoshi hoped Saturday would be the day he would regain more of his Reiastu back. Knowing if someone was after him , he had to be strong enough to fight back.

Ichigo heard the bell ring and made his way through the mob of students as quickly as he could, knowing that if he just left his friends there that it would be considered rude. Once they were outside, Ichigo grinned to himself and waved a goodbye to Chad, Orihime and Ishida before quickly heading towards Hoshi's home. Once he got there, he knocked on the door and waited.

Hoshi heard the knock on the door and got up answer it. She saw it was Ichigo and opened it. " Hi Ichigo . Sorry about not being in class today. Would you like to come in for a little bit?" Hoshi said feeling guilty about staying home.

"If you don't mind," Ichigo said, as he waited for her to fomally invite him in.

" Please come in ." She said inviting him inside.

Ichigo came inside, taking his shoes off at the door, noticing that she was waiting for him to ask a question. "Star-chan...was there a reason you pretended to be sick today?" Ichigo asked. He had a feeling of what happened but that was all it was.

" Yes there is a reason. Please don't be mad at me. It wasn't because of anything that happened at school. I stayed home so I could learn Bankai today. You can yell at me if you would like to. I know I deserve it. " She said , feeling terrible.
