Asami got off the couch and into the shower. She then got dressed and went out to the living room . She knew they had some time before they could leave. " Morning." She said to Tatsuki.

"Morning," Tatsuki replied. She took her empty bowl to the sink and washed it out before putting it on the dish towel to dry. Turning around, she asked how Asami became a shinigami.

" Shortly after Hoshi konsoed me I found in a nice area of Rukongai. After a while, I asked a kind older woman where the academy was after I heard a few of people I knew there decided to become shinigami. I asked her and sje told me. I asked her why she didn't become a shinigami . She said someone like her was too old and she felt it was her job to lead the young ones in the right direction. She said she helped others when she was alive and decided she should do the same now. I became a student and had been one for almost 2 years . I was told that I could either go for another 4 years or graduate early . I've only been in squad 10 for a short time though." Asami said.

Tatsuki listened and nodded. She was surprised to hear that she was in Toushiro's squad, but she was happy for her friend. "That's great Sami-chan. I do have a question for you though. You don't have to answer, but have you unlocked your shikai yet?

Asami shook her head no." Not yet . I think I'm close though . Last time I trained I thought I heard a voice ." Asami hoped to to unlock her Shikai today .

"If you think you heard a voice, then you're probably close. I just hope for your sake it isn't an overprotective bother like my own," she said, giggling lightly when her Zanpakuto spirit denied the claim.

" I do hope my Zanpaktou's spirit is nice. I couldn't tell if it was a male or female voice." Asami said . " We better get going soon." She said after looking at the clock.

Tatsuki nodded in agreement to what Asami said, not only to her Zanpakto but also to the fact that they had to head out soon.

Asami kept her guard as they walked toward Urahara's. She didn't want to see Tatsuki hurt. She waved shyly at Ichigo when she saw him.

Ichigo waved once he saw both Asami and Tatsuki, Hoshi and her father waiting for them as well.

" Glad you all could make it." Urahara said once they had arrived in the training area. He noticed the look on Tetsu's face knowing that something had happened ." We'll be starting soon . So get ready." He said to the Ichigo, Tatsuki and Hoshi. He first had a few things to discuss with Hitsugaya and Tetsu.
Asami got out of her gigai and got ready to unlock her shikai. She hoped today was the day. |
Tatsuki channeled reiatsu into her necklace before seeing her body lying down on the ground nearby. She then saw Ichigo use his badge and Hoshi also use her necklace to transform into their Shinigami forms.

" How would you like to approach this training Captain . I have a few ideas myself , but I'd like to hear what you have in mind first. "Urahara said .

"I think Tatsuki and Hoshi need to work on mastering their Bankais while Ichigo needs to battle his Hollow once again, or at least make sure he has control over his Hollow Powers. Asami also needs to train and unlock her shikai," Toushiro said as he listed off what needed to be done.

" I know Hoshi has achieved Bankai , but not sure about Tatsuki.If she hasn't then she should do so soon. I know you and Tetsu will be able to help them with Bankai. I see Asami is already training to unlock her shikai. I can battle with Ichigo to see if he can control his hollow after all this time. If not, I can see if Shinji can help again." Urahara said concerned about Ichigo. He didn't want Ichigo to have to go thought the training again to control his hollow , but if it came to that he would ask.

Toushiro nodded. "That is probably a good idea when it comes to Ichigo," the captain said as he noticed that the three trainees were waiting for them.

" I'm thinking that Tetsu start with Tatsuki and you Captain start with Hoshi. I'll focus on helping Ichigo . After the first round is over we can discuss on what happens next."
Tetsu thought that sounded like a good idea . He debated on wheather he should tell about last night , but decided Hoshi should be the one since she got a good look at the Bount. |
Toushiro nodded, noticing the troubled look on Tetsu's face. It seemed as if the man was having an inner debate about something, but what, the captain of the tenth division couldn't decipher. He would wait until the end of the "first round" before asking about it if Hoshi didn't say anything.
Tatsuki noticed that something was off about Hoshi and that she seemed a lot jumpier than usual. Glancing over at Ichigo for a second, the girl with the dragon zanpakuto (almost said tattoo) noticed that he noticed it as well. |
" Ready Tatsuki ?" Tetsu said . He wanted to be able to help her get closer to unlock her Bankai . If he wasn't able to help her, he knew Captain Hitsugaya would be able to.
" Captain, I apoligize for being more distracted than normal. I was getting ready for bed last night when I sensed a presence . I looked outside my window and saw an older man on the street. He was wearing a navy blue suit and looked to be about 60. I got an evil vibe that terrified me and I ran to tell my dad. He didn't see the man , but sensed the Reiatsu . I know the man is the Bount who has been following me. I don't know why I know he is the one, I just do . " Hoshi said solemnly . "Ready to remember old times Ichigo? "Urahara said . He he wanted to do what he could to help . |
Ichigo nodded. "I'm ready," he said as he got into a ready stance with Zangetsu in front of him. He had a feeling that he would hate this though.
"I'm ready," she said as she settled into her new stance with Ryuenjin drawn. She hoped that she would unlock Bankai. Toushiro listened and nodded. That made sense now that he thought about it and he filed it away for future reference. |
Urahara noticed the different look in Zangetsu and knew it had to do with Ichigo using the Final Getsuga . He had Benihime drawn and charged at Ichigo . He wasn't going to make this an easy fight.
Tetsu struck Ryuenjin with as much power as he could, while still holding back. He sensed that if he made Tatsuki fight as hard as she could, she would unlock her Bankai. It was good theory he had , he just hoped it worked . Hoshi was in a fighting position with Indigo ready. She knew she had to put effort into mastering her Bankai. |
Ichigo blocked the first strike quickly before the two of them entered into what looked like a deadly dance.
Tatsuki blocked the strike with Ryuenjin before slipping out of the attack and countering with a horizontal slash of her own. She had a feeling that she would unlock Bankai today, she just didn't know when. Toushiro looked at her stance for but a second and mentally nodded to himself before he blurred in front of her with Hyourinmaru. Using a quick draw slash, he attacked Hoshi |
Urahara kept attacking Ichigo . He knew he was getting close to the point of having Ichigo use his Visord abilities . He wanted to be sure Ichigo still had control.
Tetsu continued to get Tatsuki to unlock her Bankai . He knew she was getting close . Hoshi continued to battle with Toshiro . She knew he wanted her to use her Bankai ,but she was waiting for the right moment . |
Ichigo stepped back just a little before raising his hand to his face and pulling it down, summoning his mask. He just hoped that Hichigo would stay under control since he didn't know what would happen. He just had to make the gamble and pray he was the one on top.
Tatsuki was blocking attack after attack before feeling her reiatsu start to pick up. She prayed that this worked before she let out a huge burst of pure spirit energy and said the word, "Bankai." It didn't feel as if anything was happening before a blood-red ruby appeared at her chest before flame sprouted out from it and surrounded her before solidifying. Six wings of pure fire sprout out from the back of the armor, three on each side. Covering her feet were pointed shoes, similar to the armor in color. The thing that surprised herself the most was the sword of white flame that she was holding and yet felt no heat from it. Congratulations hatchling. You've unlocked your bankai: Dragoon no Ryuenjin (Dragon Knight of the Dragon Flame) Toushiro kept pushing Hoshi, waiting for her to use her bankai. He was about to attack when he felt the pulse of reiatsu come from Tatsuki and marveled at the spectacle that was her bankai. |
Urahara was glad that Tatsuki had unlocked her Bankai, the next step being to master it. He continued to fight Ichigo , making sure Ichigo still had control.
" Great job!" Tetsu said " Now lets see how you do fighting with it." He said getting ready to fight . Hoshi was amazed at Tatsuki's Bankai and happy for her friend . Hoshi knew that she couldn't fight much longer without her Bankai and would use it the next chance she got. |
