Of course, Zero felt bad about upsetting Yuuki, but there was no way he could say yes to that. he knew that he would eventually become a level E. But when that time came, he planned to kill himself. So it wasn't really a problem. He turned and noticed Kaname and his eyes narrowed into a glare.

Kaname watches him as he gets glared at. He sighs deeply pushing himself off the tree and walks over towards him. "So you said no to Yuuki. Zero why do you have to be so stuborn. I want to help you. If you don't get the help then everyone vampires and humans will be in danger once my uncle arrives here." glares back at him.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Zero asked, confused. Sure, he didn't care about the vampires. But it was his duty to protect the humans. And he knew he could handle himself. he didn't need help from anybody. Especially not Kaname.

Kaname moves over closer to him "Like I said you are the only person to kill him I can't. I wish I could tell you more but there are things I have to set into motion before anymore comes out." stops and looks around alittle before he looks back over at him. "Plus I can't see you lose yourself..I care about you to much...the others probbly don't need to hear that their leader is in love with a vampire hunter."

What?! That couldn't be right. "You love me? I really doubt that." Zero stated. He knew that Kaname loved Yuuki. Always had for as long as he knew them both. Which was, of course, another reason for him to hate the vampire. So hearing him say that wasn't going to make him suddenly believe it. It was just to impossible.

"I do but my feelings for her will never be. After all she is just a human but you Zero...weither you like it or not you are a vampire but you are at risk." Kaname looks at him "You can hate me all you want but deep down you care as well you are just to proud to say it.." moves over to him again and circles him alittle.

"I can handle things myself. I don't need your help. Or anybody else's for that matter. There is nothing you can do or say that will change my mind." Zero stated. With that said, he turned and walked off, done with this conversation. He was starting to get really annoyed with Kaname. If he spent any more time with him, he'd do something he'd regret.

Kaname sighs deeply watching Zero walk off. he didn't bother stoping him knowing that was all he need to stay. Kaname decide to give it a break at lease for an while cause there was something he had to do. He returns to the dorms and had already talk to Takuma since after all he was the vice president so he left him in charge while he was gone. he also left a note with the headmaster explain that he was going to hunt down a few level E vampires. And also he would be gone for a few days and had left Takuma in charge. Kaname didn't tell anyone else in the night class about him leaving. Kaname packs up a few things in his bag and picks it up. And heads out of the dorms toward the gates making sure no one wasn't looking.

Zero went through his patrol in silence. They didn't go through any trouble and switched the classes in the morning. He was slightly surprised that he didn't see Kaname, but didn't think to much about it. As more time passed and he still didn't see the pureblood, then he got more and more surprised. But, he didn't let it bother him. There was no reason for it to bother him. It wasn't any of his business what the vampire was doing.

A month has passed since Kaname had left the academy to attend to his duties. He soon return once the snow begans to fall as some of the vampires didn't even ask when he had return. Class soon change and Kaname was right with them and of course all the day class girls went crazy to see the night class president again. Alot of them was asking where he was but he just simplely ignores them and walks past. Crushing the girls hearts like he normal does. Kaname looks over seeing Yuuki and Zero there like aways but he didn't stay anything and look away. He place his hands into his pocket as he knew things never change at lease he had keeped the level E vampires away for the time being but more was coming.

Zero was partly glad that Kaname was away. That meant that nobody was going to bother him about switching classes. There were a few times where he slipped and ended up drinking Yuuki's blood. But then again she did offer. She didn't want him to go crazy after all. He was a bit surprised to see that Kaname had returned about a month later. But it didn't show on his face. Yuuki, of course, was extremely happy to see him and it definitely showed on her face.

Kaname would stop for an moment before he reaches to the building. He turns around and looks at Yuuki as he would speak "Yuuki nice to see you again..I'm sorry I haven't been here..I was on business." Yuuki giggles and shakes her head "No its ok...I was worried that you wasn't coming back." Kaname chuckles gently runs his hand thought his hair alittle "I'm sorry Yuuki anyway I was wondering there is a show in town and I was wondering if you wanted to come with me." Yuuki's eyes lights up and would jump for jump even thought she was freezing to death "Of course I would love too.." Kaname nods "Ok cya later..." says as he knew the teacher was going to be late again so he decide to stay in the class room for an moment before catching up with Yuuki.

Zero watched Kaname and Yuuki talk, a bit confused. A month ago the vampire had told Zero he loved him and now he was ignoring him. That confused him and it hurt slightly as well. Not that he would ever admit it. Not to himself or anybody else. Instead, he turned and walked off, ready to start his patrol.

Yuuki watches Kaname head to class before she looks over seeing Zero. She could tell something wasn't right so she would follow Zero. "Hey Zero wait up!" runs over to him before he got that far away. Yuuki tilts her head "Whats the matter? I know something is wrong. I know you better than you know you." says looking around alittle before she looks back over. "So just tell me? Is because of Kaname asking me out?"

Zero stopped when he heard Yuuki calling for him. He sighed slightly before turning to face her, his face blank. He didn't want to deal with her right now. "What would Kaname asking you out bother me? Its what you've always wanted." he stated. "There is nothing bothering me, alright." he added, hoping she would just go away and leave him alone.

Yuuki blinks plays with her gloves as she looks at him "I don't know..I was just wondering..beside you have been different the whole month while Kaname has been gone. Of course you never admit." sighs deeply looking down "Yea I know that but...oh its nothing...sorry to bother you Zero..beside one thing I do know..Kaname cares about you like I do..he is very worried about you. And well I just feel he cares alittle more for you than he does for me." turns around and walks off. As a hour or so later Kaname comes out of the building. Kaname and Yuuki leaves the grounds to head into town. Along the way there which they normal take a car when it was cold but it wouldn't be far.

Out of nowhere a level E vampire or two would come of nowhere and attacks Zero while the pureblood vampire was gone. As someone had send this vampire after Zero once he knew Kaname had left the academy grounds.

Zero was silent as Yuuki was speaking. He mentally denied everything she said. There was no way he would admit if it was true or not. He watched her go before turning back to his patrol. When the vampires attacked, he pulled out the Bloody Rose and fought with them. It took a while, but he managed to kill them. But the time it was over, he was exhausted.

Kaname had sence the vampires so he had to cut the evening short with Yuuki and rush back to the academy. By the time he got there they was already dead as he sighs deeply he knew shouldn't have left the academy. "Damn it..Rido.." says looking over to Zero "You ok?" He knew Rido would had tryed to put something like this from the moment he had left the academy but he wasn't sure if Rido was really after Zero so he had to be sure. So yea he knew this was going to happen which why he had asked Yuuki out to the movies.

Zero looked at Kaname when he heard the vampire speak. "I'm fine. Its nothing I couldn't handle." he told him, placing the Bloody Rose back in its holster. "Though you were going out with Yuuki tonight." he stated, wondering why he was back so soon. He thought they would be gone much longer.

Kaname place his hands into his pocket and looks around just to make sure no other vampires was around. He looks back over to Zero "I sence the vampires coming here and I was worried so I just told Yuuki we would do that some other time. So I rush back here to see if I could help." looks at him. He sighs deeply "But I can see you can handle yourself even in the state you are in." turns around. He knew he had to report this to the head master about this. "Anyway now I know he is after you." looking over his shoulder at him.

"Know who's after me?" Zero asked, staring at Kaname. He wasn't sure why the vampire thought he needed to help. He was more than capable to handle this on his own and was a bit insulted to think the other didn't think so. But he pushed that aside, more curious about the answer to his question.

Kaname knew he didn't mean to say that but he did and Zero had asked him. He turns around place his hands into his pocket looking at him. "Yes I attending this to happen when I asked Yuuki to come with me. To see if Rido would send vampires after you if I wasn't here. Seeing that I did pissed him off when I was away here. Cause he now learn of my feelings." closes his eyes and pauses for a second so Zero could try to understand it. He opens his eyes and looks at him "I was right he is after you instead who I thought he would be after."

"I can handle anything he throws at me." Zero stated. He was, after all, a trained vampire hunter. He knew he could handle it. "Though it doesn't explain why he would come after me." he added. If anybody it should be Yuuki he was going after. Not him.

Kaname shakes his head "No..you can't handle him..not yet anyway. He is to strong than you and in order for you to kill him you have to be come much stronger than your normal vampire hunter powers." looking at him. He sighs deeply as he walks away "But of course you are only fighting yourself and not becoming what I need you to be." but stops before he turns around and looks at him "And the answer for that question is..that he knows my feelings towards you and wants anything to destroy me even to kill you. Zero its time to face the facts..the vampire blood that you got from another pureblood is running thought your vains but it isn't enought for you to handle it." crosses his arms "You need more to grow more stronger and do the job that I can't." Of course he knew how much he said he couldn't get thru but maybe repeating more could awake more that lays deep within Zero.

Zero was silent as Kaname was speaking. He was still completely confused about everything that was going on. "I can't deal with this right now." he stated before turning in the opposite direction and walking off. He needed time alone to think and reorganize his thoughts. He couldn't do that with the pureblood bothering him. So, he went to his room and locked the door behind him.
