Sephiroth continued to get the training rooms ready. Checking over everything again he made sure that everything was in order. By this time he saw a lot more of the recruits coming into the main training room. They would be doing simulations again because Sephiroth wasn't really all that too keen on giving any of the recruits live steel or materia for that matter. They would have to start from the bottom and learn the basics. That was how he learned, and that was how they were going to learn as well. Glancing over at the clock he noticed that training would begin. Walking to the center of the room he cleared his throat and said in the loudest voice that he could muster," Front and center recruits!"

Cloud had falling asleep leaning against the wall waiting for someone to show up. As even some of the recuits had placed and trick on him. Like seven years ago they had wrote on him while he was asleep. He soon woke up hearing Sephiroth already the recuits that had did that to Cloud was already lined up. he would follow at the end of the line like always standing attention like the rest of him not knowing whats on his face.

Sephiroth glanced around at the group of people that were standing there in front of him. He saw that some of their uniforms that they were wearing were wrinkled. That was something that needed to be changed rather quickly. He glanced down the line as he walked down it and saw the blonde standing at the end of the line. He still felt bad that he had left so quickly when they were eating dinner last night. He then looked the other male up and down and noticed that all the creases on the uniform were pressed and done neatly. "SOLDIER recruit Cloud Strife come up here," said Sephiroth. He knew that it was tedious to go over little things like uniform, but if they cared this little about their clothing then he knew that they wouldn't care about how they trained either.

Cloud looks at Sephiroth and nods "Sir." was all he said as he heads over passing the others. He not say anything else and stands up beside Sephiroth. He takes an deep breath and sighs as the events from last night came back but he would push it out of his head. Cloud looks at Sephiroth for an moment wondering what he wanted seeing that he was looking at everyone uniform.

Sephiroth was glad that Cloud was so quick to listen to orders. That was another good quality that would make him into a good SOLDIER soldier, and possibly even an officer. "Now I have called Recruit Cloud Strife up here to show you what your uniform should look like. What you guys are dressed in are wrinkled, even tattered, terrible excuses of uniforms. I hope that your appearances next time are better. Cloud you may go back into rank formation." Sephiroth closed his eyes as he decided what he wanted them to do next. "I will overlook that now, but don't let it happen again. As for your first training exercise you will be going into the training rooms and showing me how much you are able to do thus far. Gauging this will allow me to see how much training you guys will be needing."

Cloud listens to Sephiroth then he look over at all the other recuits and relieze their uniforms wasn't perfect. He sighs deeply wondering why they do that like they even care about the uniforms Shinra give out to their recuits or what. But Cloud was different as he knew how to take care of his clothes and glad Sephiroth could see that. He looks over at Sephiroth and nods "Yes sir." before he heads back to where he was. he did get an few glares at him by other recuits cause he always manage to out perform them. He was even surpised they even made it this far as he turns around and stands like the rest of them. They would listen to Sephiroth and nods as everyone says "Yes sir" as each of them heads to the training room.

Sephiroth saw some of the recruits look around hesitantly, and he was about to repeat himself, which was something that he rarely, if ever, did. He never had to tell people anything twice. They either got it, or they didn't get it. As soon as all of the recruits were. After he made sure that all of the recruits were ready to begin he started all of their training sessions. This would help him see how much training that they would need, and see if there were any people that needed any private lessons so that they would be as good as any other recruit. Sitting in the main console chair he watched through each video camera that was in the training room as he said,"Your training starts now. As a SOLDIER recruit you must learn to use your surrounding and assess your enemy. This will be testing that. Begin."

Cloud listens to Sephiroth explain what they needed to do. He relaxes and takes a deep breath before he puts on his visor like the rest of them. And they would get thrown into different settings which Cloud was an snowy mountain setting. He knew this would be easy for him since his homeland was close to these kinda of setting. He quickly gets used to his surrounding before he soon gets pulled into battle by two enemies.

Sephiroth, while sitting in his leather chair, watched the recruits battle against their foes. Right off the bat he knew that some of them would fail, and he knew that others would need to have special training. He focused on Cloud's training camera though when he saw that the other was in a mountainous area. Leaning back in his chair he watched as the other male fought against the enemies that the program had been put in front of him. He knew from the other male's files that he had grown in a town called Nibelheim. Nibelheim was located north of Midgar at the base of the Kalm mountains. Cloud would be well situated here, and he knew that the other would do well in this training program.

Cloud runs away only to lead them to an trap. He slides to an stop as he looks around and found some of the snow was unstable so any thing could cause the snow to fall on them. He knew this well cause there was time he almost got caught by one of them. He looked around and grabs an pole from the ground. As he takes an step back and tosses it at an tree that was there covered in snow. As the snow falls on the ground causing it to stir before it falls down the hill and onto them. Cloud quickly moves out of the way before he gets buried himself even thought he knew it was an simlator it still would hurt. He did get cut on the arm by an sharp limb when a tree falls passed him as it takes out the enemies.

Sephiroth continued to watch the simulator cameras, paying particular attention to that of the blondes. He didn't much care for the other ones, but he knew that if he was going to assess them all as a whole that he should. The task that Cloud had to do was go to the summit of the mountain and rendezvous with the people that were already there. As he watched the other male climb up the side of the mountain there was a small avalanche which caused a lot of snow to begin to move and shift around him. He got up from his chair though when he saw the avalanching snow cover the other male. He knew that it was just a hologram test, but he still felt like he wanted to protect the other male. He would stop the simulator for him if something happened, but for now he knew that the other would have to endure.

Cloud crawls out of the snow and stands up. He brushes himself off and looks behind him seeing the path was gone so he knew there was no turning back. He had to continue to the location to where he had to be to complete the test. He wasn't sure how many more enemies he would have to face. Cloud keeps his sences up even thought the lack of sleep was getting to him. He was half way up before he got attack already he was already showing some fatigue. He trys to dodges but gets hit by one with an fist causing him to fall back hard.

Sephiroth continued to watch the other male through the camera screen and as he did he began to dig his hands into the arm wrests of the chair until his knuckles turned white. He wanted to get Cloud out of there right now, but his training side knew that this would toughen the other male up. Standing up from the chair he began to pace around, and only stopped when one of the computer technicians looked at him and asked him if he was alright. Nodding his head he returned his gaze back to the screens. He could see that some of the other people were giving up, and he told the technicians to end their training, and have them exit and wait further orders. For some of the few that were still around he saw that would indeed make promising SOLDIER soldiers. He knew that Cloud would make it through whatever was placed in front of him, and that meant that he would just have to wait it out.

Cloud thought this was it and wish it was over but he couldn't go out like this even if it wasn't real. He had to treat this like any other real life battle since tihs is what he had to do. One of them would try to stab him with an sword but Cloud which rolls out of the way as he turns his leg around and knocks the person down which he falls back into the others. Cloud quickly gets on his feet grab whatever he could get his hands on and tosses it at him before he takes off. Fianlly he would reach to where he was as he was tired and sore but at lease he met the people he had to rendezvous with. Soon after the mission was completed which send him out of the virtual world. He breaths hard as he removes his visor from his face.

Sephiroth continued to watch as the other members of his group all either gave up on their virtual missions, or were felled by the opponents that they faced. The only one that got through the mission at hand was a certain spiky, blonde haired individual. He was glad that the other had made it through their first virtual training mission. He watched as the other took his visor off. Letting out a sigh Sephiroth got to his feet and exited through the double sliding doors and then walked back out onto the larger training floor where the other recruits were standing around waiting for more orders. Glancing at all of them he said,"Front and center soldier."

It would take him a few mins or so to catch his breath and calm down. He wonder how the others did but so far he felt like he was the only one that completed the whole mission. Of course he could admit he felt like giving up but something just kept pushing him foward. He leaves the training simlutor and stretches some rubbing his shoulder before he joins up with the rest of them. Cloud looks over at the other recuits and could tell most of them never did completed it by the way they look. They look worst than he looked like. He looks over watching Sephiroth coming out and everyone stand attention even if some of them look like they was about to fall over.

Sephiroth smiled as he saw all of the recruits file into an orderly line. He noted that they formed their ranks faster than last time. At least they were doing that right. He knew that he was being hyper critical about certain things that didn't really matter, like their shirt or the way that they formed ranks, but there were other things that he was more lax about. Walking in front of the recruits he looked at each of them as he said,"Very good on your first day. You all did tremendous. I do see there needs to be much more training and discipline, but for your first mission simulator you did well. You are all dismissed. Except for SOLDIER recruit Cloud Strife." |
Everyone would stand where they was watching Sephiroth walking passed them while he spoke. Cloud watches him out in the corner of his eye before he blinks for an moment. He was told to stay there while the other recuits left. He soon begans to wonder if he was in trouble especial what happen last night or what. So he was really really nervous. Cloud takes an deep breath and waits watching the last of the recuits leave the room before Cloud looks back over at Sephiroth.

Sephiroth knew that waiting for the other recruits would probably hard for the other male so he looked at Cloud and smiled. He wanted to reassure the other male that nothing was going to happen to him, and that he wasn't mad either. He just wanted to apologize for what had happened the previous night. He knew that the other had said that it was alright for him, but it still was not alright in Sephiroth's eyes. He didn't know what it was about the young blonde that made him feel like he had to bare his heart to the world, but he decided that it wasn't hurting him as of yet so there was no reason to hide it. Once all of the recruits had gone he said,"Care to walk with me to lunch?" He didn't really know what he was doing, so he was sort of just winging it.

Cloud brushes some of his hair back and stretches alittle. His shoulder hurt alittle but he was fine as he rubs it alittle bit. Clould looks at Sephiroth and nods, "Sure..so how did I do in the simulor?" He would follow once Sephiroth head out to go to lunch. Walking right beside him as he place his hands into his pocket. He was curious after all about how he did probbly better than the others. Cloud tryed not to think about it much about what happen the other night.

Sephiroth waited for the other members of the training group to leave through the room via the double doors.
Turning to the other male he looked at him as he let a smile play on his lips. "I think you did rather well in the simulator. For being your first time you did quite well indeed," said Sephiroth as he came to a stop in front of the other male. Walking out into the hallway he made his way towards the upper SOLDIER dining hall. Once there he turned to the other male and said,"I am glad that you are able to join me for lunch." |
Cloud follows Sephiroth to the lunch room and blushes alittle at the comment. "Well I did had some close calls in there but I didn't want to disapointment you or anyone else so I just told myself not to give up." smiles up at him. As he stops once Sephiroth stop infront of him. Before following to lunch room and looks at him as he nods "I am glad that you ask me to come, sir" as he was glad that Sephiroth was thinking very highly of him like that probbly even more who knows.

((Sorry for taking so long to get back to you in this RP. I've been in the middle of changing jobs and learning how to do that said job. So that is where I have been)).
Sephiroth went and looked at the other male as he smiled as he found an empty round table. Zack would be joining them later. He did have a larger class of recruits after all. Once he sat down he glanced around the room noting that he saw some of the other higher ranked officers there as well. All who saw him smiled and nodded their heads or waved at him to show that they acknowledged his presence. Glancing towards the blonde he frowned a little bit when he heard the blonde say that he didn't want to disappoint the other male. He shook his head as he said,"You would never disappoint me. I lo-," he immediately turned his head. what was he about to say?! That he loved the other male. No, that was ridiculous. There was no way that he could love someone or that someone would love him in return. It was just plain crazy. |
Cloud looks around at the other officers and nods to them. Since he does respect the higher officers no matter if he was an recuit or not. Once Sephiroth found a empty table and soon sits down right after he does. Cloud relaxes as he rubs his shoulder alittle just getting some soreness out. Listening to Sephiroth which he was about to say something but stop as he looks at Sephiroth abit oddly and wonder if he was going to say 'I love you' like he thought he was trying. Cloud didn't say anything and already figure it out not sure if he should say it himself. he place his hands on the table and bits his lip staring at the ground. "Sephiroth....I feel the same" whispers mostly he didn't want the others to hear them since it was pretty crowded.

Sephiroth still felt bad that, and a little bit angry with himself as well, that he had become so comfortable around the other male that he had dropped his guard so much. He was the perfect SOLDIER. He didn't have time for things like this. Shaking his head a little bit he barely heard the other say that he cared for him as well. Perking his ears up a little bit, and thought that maybe this relationship wouldn't be such a bad thing. He was too proud to admit that he was scared, but he was scared. He had never felt so much uncertainty in his life before. Clearing his throat he looked at Cloud and smiled as he said,"Come on let's get something to eat. You must be starving." Getting up from where he was sitting he stretched a little bit hoping by moving that it would change the subject and or make the other male forget about what he was saying. |
