Sephiroth continued to walk down the hallway towards the VIP lounge. He knew that he would be far behind in the questionnaire portion of the packet of papers, but he also knew that he could BS his way through them later that day since he would be the one to collect them later in the day when they regrouped again. Whatever Hojo had done to him though was beginning to take a toll on him as he felt the walls around him shift around him making him feel very queasy inside. He was about to double over, but then he saw some other ShinRa higher ups and decided that he needed to have the "imposing general" look. He finally made it into the lounge where he saw Zack and Cloud sitting there going over the packet of papers. Smiling to himself a little bit he felt his heart clench a little bit when he saw that the blonde had gotten his pen stuck in his hair. The other was just too funny. Stifling a laugh he sauntered over and found a chair nearby. "Hello," he managed to mutter out as he took the pen and packet that Zack offered him. "So how far did we all get?"

Zack was sitting there watching the scene unfold. Apparently, the blonde had gotten his pen stuck in his hair. He knew the feeling because it had happened to him numerous times before. It was terrible. He noticed Sephiroth from the corner of his eye and noted that the other was smiling, albeit he looked to be in a lot of pain too. He knew that Hojo probably had something to do with it, and it was best not to ask. Zack knew that the last thing that the General wanted to happen was for the blonde to know.

Cloud heard Sephiroth as he sits up and looking over at him. He smiles alittle only to notice he didn't seem to feel well. But of course he didn't bother to ask even thought he wanted to. Cloud brushes some of his hair out of his face before he stretches with an yawn. "Oh we are to that part of it that we have to asked questions to the others in the group." says during the yawn before he sits back against the chair. "I'll be right back thought I need to run to the bathroom. And to splash some water on my face I'm about to fall asleep." standing up after excusing himself. Then takes an quick trip to the bathroom to wash up and such.

Sephiroth nodded as he looked at the packet of paper that was in front of him. Maybe it was a bad idea making the other cadets, and even himself, work on something so mundane. Sephiroth began reading over the packet and filling in some of the bubbles as he let out a sigh. This was beyond ridiculous. This was downright cruel, even. Sephiroth glanced up at the blonde when he heard the other say that he was going to the bathroom. "Alright," muttered Sephiroth as he continued to finish filling in more bubbles. As he watched Cloud walk by he couldn't help but let a smile grace his handsome features. It was sort of odd how the blonde walked with feminine grace at times."Sephiroth. Earth to Sephiroth," said Zack as he waved his hand in front of Sephiroth's face. "What?" said Sephiroth as he looked at the raven haired male with a look of minor annoyance. "I see the way that you look at Cloud. You like him don't you?" Sephiroth glanced at Zack giving the other male a warning glance before he could say anything else. "We are not going to continue this conversation in public." Zack nodded and went back to his packet. "Besides, Zack. Do you even know if the blonde likes me in return. There's no way right."

Cloud would finally return tothe lounge and makes his way back over to Zack and Sephiroth "I'm back guys." Says before he sat back down in the chair and grabs his pen. He looks between Zack and Sephiroth an felt like something was up since they stop talking the moment he got back. "You two talking abou me?" says while he chews on his pen alittle bit. Cloud looks back down at his packet fliping to the next place and read the questions over and sigh deeply. "Do they always have to give out weird questions to ask the others?" says while he look back up at the two.

Sephiroth and Zack continued to talk among themselves quietly, but stopped when the blonde came back. Zack looked up at Cloud and gave the other a goofy smile as he said," Of course not what would give you that idea?" The raven haired male even gave a nervous laugh to show some emphasis "Idiot," thought Sephiroth as he went back to his packet. He glanced over at the blonde when he heard the other ask about the unnecessary questions that they all had to fill out. "Yes, they are indeed necessary. This exercise is here to build team camaraderie, as well as assess the mental state of the SOLDIER recruits." Glancing at the packet and then at Cloud again he said," So now what is your favorite time of day?" He knew that the questions were completely all over the place, but this was a necessary part of training.

Cloud blinks looking at the two when Zack said they wasn't but by that look on his face means they do. He sighs deeply not sure what they was talking about him for. "Hmmm okkk..." says before he looks back down at his papers again. He knew there was alot of questions to asked each other so maybe this would be fun. To finally to get to know alittle bit about them especial Sephiroth but of course it probbly would be some secerts that he wouldn't be ready to tell. Even if he didn't know him that well he already could tell he liked Sephiroth more than his commander and team mate. But that was something he shouldn't say in public especialy here cause he didn't know if he would get the same reaction when they was at dinner or not. He heard Sephiroth asking him the question and he thought about it for an moment "Well I think I like mornings...most guys wouldn't cause they hate to get up earily but I don't that way I can get things going..have a morning work out in my room before training." chuckles alittle. "Some guys wonder what kind of person gets up in the morning like that. But basicly I been like this since I was an child." shrugged.

Sephiroth listened to the other answer. It didn't surprise the other when he heard him say that he liked the mornings. The blonde was so full of energy that any time of day other than morning would not suit him. He was a twilight kind of guy. When the sun was beginning to sink below the horizon, and the darkness was beginning to creep over the land. It was quiet and loud at the same time, dark and light, and over all it was mysterious. He knew Zack's favorite time of day without even having to ask him, and Zack knew the same about Sephiroth as well. Sephiroth knew that the other liked night time for two reasons. One he had answered these questionnaires dozens of times, and two he knew that Zack was full of energy as well but he also liked the parties around ShinRa and around the Midgar. Some of the clubs had the best parties of all. He had gone to a few of them a few years back, and he was always satisfied with the parties when he had left.

Glancing at some of the other questions and at the clock he noted that they had been there filling these things out for well over 4 hours. Then again he had missed the first 2 hours because he had been Hojo's personal pin cushion for all sorts of things, but that didn't make this any less boring. "I think we should take a break for now. Maybe call the recruits so they can break off and go out on the town for their last dinner before the real training begins."

It did seem time had fly by when they asking each other questions. Before he heard Sephiroth and looks up as he set his pin down. He stretches and nods "Sure that sounds good. Yea I'm sure the other recuits are probbly need a break from that." chuckles gently. "Of course we probbly need to all wash up before going out to town. I'm sure not going to town in my training clothes." rubbing back of his neck alittle bit. He was still abit sore from the training simalor so a hot shower would sound good by now. "Oh just one other question I have..are we going to be assigned different rooms now since we are on the same team?" looking at Sephiroth. But he figure the question was yes. He just wanted to make sure.

Sephiroth was glad that the other wanted to stop the questions as well. He was glad that the other wasn't too eager to go out on the town yet, since he too needed to take a shower as well. The other's question caught him off guard. "Yes," said Sephiroth as he marked the page that he was on. "However, I will be in a different room. I don't share with other people, and as the General I have a room to myself. Zack and you will be sharing a room though since we don't have enough room for everyone to have their own room. However, once you become a ranked SOLDIER member you have the choice of staying in the barracks or getting another home outside of the ShinRa building." Standing up from where he was sitting he stretched as he looked at the others. "Let's meet back at the entrance of the building in two hours. Zack, we're taking Cloud to 'the place.'" Zack nodded at this as he got up as well."This is going to be a fun evening." said Zack as he placed a hand on Cloud's shoulder.

At lease packing and moving to another dorm wouldn't be that hard to do. Since he came with bags of clothes cause that was basicly all they had to bring along other things but now he was here to stay he could start buying things. But a trainee salary does suck but he had patience and he tends to save his money if he really wants something away. Once he gets up in the ranks he would get more but until then he was just happy he was here unlike most of the guys that already was kicked out. He looks at them and looks over at Zack and tilts his head, The place?, he thought to himsef. He wondered what that was but he just had to wait and see. "Hmm yea I like the sound of that..I better head back to my room to wash up..see you guys later" moving away and heads back to his room.

Zack smiled at the other as he clapped a hand on his shoulder again."Don't worry" said Zack." Everything will be fine. Don't worry you'll enjoy yourself, I promise you that."Sephiroth watched as the other walked out of the room with Zack in tow as he stared at the blonde's retreating lower half a little too intently. Walking out of the room himself he made his way to his own quarters. It was true that he lived in the barracks, but he lived in a special section of the barracks that was specifically designed for him. Swiping his keycard through the door he walked in through the sliding door. Shedding off his armor and shoulder pads he made his way to the bathroom where he let the leather that covered his body pool to the floor. Stepping into the shower he turned on the shower as he let the spray of the water cascade down his body. Some pretty lude thoughts were running rampant through his mind, but he immediately silenced them as he shook his head.

After he was done he walked out with a towel draped around his waist as well as one that held his hair up. He walked to his closet and ended up taking out a pair of black form fighting leather pants. He then grabbed a shirt. He knew that if he left now that he would be early so he sat on his bed as he turned the T.V. on as he watched it for a little while.

At lease he would have a bigger space cause his room was almost like an closet. So he would be glad to be out of here soon and he heads to the bathroom. Different things still wonder like where they was going to take him. And this and that then start day dreaming about Sephiroth wondering what he was doing. He washes his hair and then washes his body while standing under the hot water. After he was done he gets out of the shower and gets dressed. He got dressed in some black pants and light blue shirt with his leather jacket.

He looks at the time and relieze it was only an hour maybe he wouldn't be to late but he better start heading to the enterence since his dorm was farther than the other dorms to the enterence. Cloud grabs his wallet and place it into his pocket and heads outof his room locking the door behind him. And heads down the hall to the front of the building.

Glancing over at the clock again he decided that he should be heading out as well. His room was directly on the top floor with the other officials that stayed in the barracks. They weren't really barracks so to say, but they were more like hotel rooms. They were much more lavishly decorated, and they were about twice the size as the single SOLDIER rooms. As he left the room he grabbed his wallet, his keys, and a dark leather jacket. Walking towards the elevator he got into it and pushed the level 1 button. He lived on the 70th floor, so it would be a long time before he made it to the bottom. Since a lot of the soldier members, that were already ranked were getting in the elevator as well. Once he was on the ground floor he walked out towards the open atrium where he saw Zack. Zack waved at him, and then the two of them sat down on a bench awaiting the arrival of their newest member to their group.

Cloud would run into some people from other teams mumbling to them selfs. It was hard to here what they was saying but he clearly heard one of them saying his name. He was sure they was talking about him being with Sephiroth and Zack in a group. As some of them was jealous that he was and they wasn't. But he didn't say anything cause like he told Sephiroth and Zack he wasn't that type of person to be bragging that he was in their group. He had more pride than that to something that stupid. So he quickly heads as it didn't take him long to get to first floor and looks around before seeing Sephiroth and Zack waiting for him. He smiles lightly and heads over to met up with them. "Hiya guys." says.

Zack was the first one to see Cloud before Sephiroth did. He stood up and waved towards the other male, and beckoned him over. Sephiroth then stood up as he saw what Zack was doing and smiled as he waved as well. Zack walked up to Cloud and met him half way as he said," I hope you are ready for a fun filled evening because we're going to party until we drop."Sephiroth chuckled a little. The raven haired SOLDIER had a flair for exaggeration, but it was quite amusing listening to what the other had been saying. "Are we all ready to go?" asked Sephiroth. Not waiting for an answer he reached forward and took the blonde by the hand as the three of them left through the main doors to the ShinRa mansion. They would be heading out of ShinRa and out of Midgar as well. There was a small village about 20 miles away that they could get to by chocobo. Walking towards where they were stabled Sephiroth glanced at Cloud from the corner of his eye as he said,"Cloud have you ever ridden on a chocobo before?" This was something that the other was going to learn in basic training, that and a chocobo would choose a rider for life, but since they would be riding them he wanted to make sure the other was comfortable.

Cloud would blushes alittle when Sephiroth had taking his hand abit. It quickly fades before either of them notice. "Oh yea I am looking forward to having fun" smiles and follows them. He couldn't remember going out like this it been an while since joining up. So yea this was something he was looing forward to it. Cloud follows the two to the chocobo stables and sighs deeply. He looks over Sephiroth and nods slightly "Yea when I was 14 but I don't think that chocobo didn't like me cause it threw me off in the mud. So I been nervous getting back on an chocobo ever since..I guess I must had got on it wrong." bits his lip. He knew it was going to be apart of training so he had to get over that fear if he wanted to move forward.

Sephiroth could see the apprehension in the other's face, and hear it in the other's voice. He could tell when they had first entered the stables that the other had a run in with a bad chocobo or two. "Well these ones are well trained. They won't give you too much trouble." As he went towards the larger paddock where the chocobos were kept all together for "social" time one of them broke off from the group and came towards him as it leaned over the fence. Reaching up he patted the large bird's neck and the chocobo made a soft "kwehing" sound almost like a sigh. "For example this, is Blix. Blix, was a tough as nails bird to handle when I first began riding her." As he said this the bird stopped and pulled away giving him a slight glare. "However," he continued. "With love and affection she became a very nice, docile chocobo." Zack soon joined them with his own chocobo, his was black while Sephiroth's was a brighter yellow, gold, in color. "I guess go into the paddock and see if one of them approaches you. Keep the door open in the event that one of them rushes you." Sephiroth wasn't kidding about chocobo rushing. They had talon's the size of samurai swords, and when sharp could kill. "Zack, go help him." said Sephiroth as he motioned for Zack to go into the pen as well. Zack looked at Sephiroth and sighed as he swallowed, but still went into the paddock.

Cloud had a feeling that this was just going to be another lesson for him. Something he had to do in order to get right. He didn't want to be the only recuit that had a small fear with chocobos but then again there was some in the same boat. So it was best that he got alittle bit ahead from the others. He smiles lightly watching Sephiroth patted the chocobo and right away he could tell that they had a strong bond together. Cloud listens and nods as he was abit nervous looking over at Zack at lease he would help him."Alright..here goes nothing.." says. He follows Zack over to the pen with the other chocobo. He looks over at Zack the back to the door as he was ready for anything.

Sephiroth stopped patting the feathered neck of his chocobo as the bird went over to trot next to the one that the blonde would be approaching. Sephiroth started to leap over the fence since he thought that his chocobo might be charging the other, but then stopped when he noticed that the other chocobo stood in front of the one that Cloud was going to approach."Cloud," said Zack."Be careful. Blix has a brother. He is also very protective. You need to talk to Blix before he will let you pass and get to his brother."Sephiroth figured that this could happen, but he knew that it might have been a good thing that they encountered this now then when the other recruits were not around.

Cloud watches the chocobo coming up infront of him blocking him from the other. He looks over a Zack when he said about the chocobo's brother. Cross takes a deep breath and nods "Alright..I guess thats how brothers are." chuckles just alittle. But he turns back toward Blix and nibbles his lip cause he was very nervous. "Hello Blix...I'm Cloud" he felt kinda foolish at first talking to a chocobo like an person. Of course he knew that chocobo would understand him. It just will take some time for Blix to trust him to get to his brother. Knowing both Sephiroth and Zack was keepin close to make sure nothing happen to him. He goes ahead and speaks up "Its alright..I'm very nice and I always care about other animals. I won't hurt your brother nor you." slowly reaches to pet Blix to show him how nice he was. "I will treat him like I would do any other animal. Just give me an chance Blix" looking up at him.

Blix continued to stare at Cloud through its black chocobo birdie eyes as he began to contemplate what the other was saying. Sure, Sephiroth was his master, but that didn't mean that he would trust this blonde, that was in front of him with his brother's well being. Glancing over at Sephiroth the man gave the bird a rather harsh looking glare. Ruffling his feathers he glanced back at Cloud and began to approach the other. Turning his head to the side he offered the other to show that he wanted to be petted on the head. "I think it's alright now," said Sephiroth. "I do believe he trusts you now." Walking into the pen he handed the other male a bunch of gysahl greens. "Alright," said Sephiroth. "Now give these to the other one. Come here Blix." Blix came trotting over to Sephiroth to leave the two of them alone in the pen.

Cloud was glad that Blix was letting him pet his head. In which he does pet Blix on the head before looking over at Sephiroth. "For a moment there I thought it wouldn't be so good." says. Looking at the gysahl greens and back to Sephiroth. Cloud nods taking the greens from him "Ok.." before looking over toward the other chocobo and walks over slowly. "Hey there.." says calmy taking some of the greens from his hand. Handing the greens over at first the chocobo just stares at Cloud. The chocobo was cautious like most animals before he leans his head down and takes the greens from Cloud's hand. Cloud could now reach up and scratches the chocobo lightly on the neck and the big bird seems to like it.

Sephiroth glanced over at Zack who was beaming like a proud father. He, too, found himself smiling as well. It was indeed a proud moment. When a rider and a chocobo make first contact, and the other seemed to be like a born natural. Sephiroth was sure that the other would have gotten it the first time even if Blix hadn't intervened. Speaking of which he turned towards Blix, who was nudging his hand for more of the greens. "If I give you too many you're going to get fat," said Sephiroth as the chocobo greedily ate the greens that it was offered. Blix ruffled his feathers and gave him a slight glare before letting his eyes closed as he went into gysahl green bliss. "Now the next part," said Sephiroth. "We saddle, and bridle." This part, comparative, was easier than getting a chocobo to like you.

Cloud looks over at Sephiroth for an moment nods "Ok.. I can get the bridle on easily its just the saddle is tricky with me. Speciality with a moving chocobo." looking back over at the chocobo and keeps petting after it finishes it the greens he had in his hand. Wasn't sure where they keep the bridle and saddle was for the chocobo so he would wait for Sephiroth or Zack to get them or show Cloud them since he would need to know about where they was later on. During training and stuff. At lease he was glad to get earily help on this.

Zack walked over to the nearby wall and grabbed a few things off of the walls. The saddles were heavy for another person, but for a first class SOLDIER like Zack it was nothing. Walking back over with the three bridles and the three saddles he handed one to Sephiroth and then walked towards Cloud."Alright, this is what you are going to do you're going to put the saddle on the chocobo You place it over the chocobo's back with the saddle horn facing towards the head of the chocobo. That will give you something to hold place the reigns in when you're not holding them. Here," said Zack as he handed the saddle over to Cloud.

Sephiroth walked over to Blix who eyed him happily as he fluffed his wings a bit. The other loved getting out into the open air, and run around.
