Sephiroth continued to eat the vegetables that were on his plate. Zack was tucking in on the steak that he ordered. Sephiroth, contrary to belief, did not eat a lot of meat, and thought that taking an animals life albeit for food was not needed. He ate meat on occasion, but he didn't got out of his way to consume it. So he had a salad with some beef strips on it. Hojo, albeit insane, did make a point in telling him that some of his vitamins were off as well as his iron levels, and that if he was to stay healthy he would need to consume more meat, much to his chagrin. "Are you enjoying your meals?"asked Sephiroth as he took another drink from his water.

Cloud would have half of the plate empty but unforturely he couldn't finish the rest. He looks over at Sephiroth and nods "Its delious but I don't think I can finsih the rest..I never knew how much they put in this meal." chuckles abit. "They sure can cook good here" taking a sip of his water.

Sephiroth chuckled as he continued to drink from his glass. The other male really knew how to eat. He pictured the other eating something else entirely, and then he mentally smacked himself. Those thoughts were bad! Very BAD! "Well," he started as he coughed a little to relieve the tension. "You could always take some of it home with you. Since you will be living in Zack's room he has a SOLDER's suite. That also means that he has a fridge and a T.V. as well." He then ate some more of his food relishing the buttery taste of his grilled chicken.

Cloud nods taking an sip of his water as just then when he heard him cough. He could heard some tension in that cough then he wonder what the other was thinking. "Alright..yea I would hate to spoil this good food." It would be good to be out of the room he was in. They didn't have much in it at all just a bed, dresser, nightstand and a desk all in one room. It was rare for him to watch tv guessing they wanted recuits to focus on their training than watching tv. The only time he got to watch tv was in the lounge. "Yea when we get back I woud need to pack my stuff..at lease I don't have much stuff." shrugged.

Sephiroth was glad that the other hadn't caught his coughing, or if he had he was doing a very good job in not paying it any mind. Either way he glanced down at his own plate, deciding that he would take the rest home with him as well. Sephiroth and Zack still had their routine of sparring with one another after meal time, wherever they were, and this night wasn't going to be any different. Maybe the blonde would come and watch them.

Cloud looks between the two as it was true he never really got to see both of them spar with each other. So maybe if they do he could watch now that would be something to watch. He heard how well both men fought but never really got to see it so it would be exciting to watch. Both men, one shirtless, mainly Sephiroth dueling it out with each other. Watching Sephiroth being all sweat his skin glows brightly. Cloud gulps and that picture of him cause him to blush from his bad little picture of Sephiroth. "Uhh..hmm anyway what else is on the menu to right?"

Zack eyed him as he rolled his eyes. Sephiroth didn't forget anything, especially if it was sparring. Albeit, Zack was getting a lot better at sword fighting with Sephiroth, but Sephiroth was always one step ahead of the other. "Well besides sparring with one another," started Sephiroth. "We could always go walking around on the sky deck after we are done sparring, and after Zack and I get cleaned up again. It's supposed to be a clear night tonight."

Cloud drinking the rest of his water while he listens to the plan. He nods and smiles "That sounds good...I heard there supposed to be a meteor shower later tonight and the sky deck is the best place to see it." thinks about it and thought it would be very good to go a see it since it was rare thing to see since it doesn't happen offen. "Anyway I'm going to go to the bathroom to wash my hands..I don't think the chocobo would like handle with him with food on my hands." chuckles gently. he excuse himself and heads to the bathroom to wash up from their meal.

Sephiroth nodded his head and pointed towards the back corner where the male restroom was in the event that the other didn't know where the room was. "I didn't know about the meteor shower," said Sephiroth to no one particular. Sephiroth eyed the other's retreating form, and then it fell onto Zack's face. The other male had a wide grin on his face. "What!" said Sephiroth as he took another sip from his water. Zack continued to grin as he threw his hands up in mock defense. Zack knew all about how the other male felt.

Cloud heads toward the bathroom after Sephiroth pointed it out. He goes inside and takes a deep breath alittle he wanted so much to tell his feelings to Sephiroth. But it was kinda hard with Zack there and also he wasn't sure about the relationship would work. Since he didn't know how Sephiroth how he felt about him and also he wasn't sure if ShinRa would except a relationship like that between their people or not. Cloud shakes his head out of his thoughts and washes his hands before he heads back out of the bathroom. Walking back over he saw Zack grinning at Sephiroth as he thought that was weird clearly Zack knew something Cloud did not but he wasn't going to ask. He walks back over and sits down at his spot. "I'm back...so what you two talking about while I was gone?"

Sephiroth looked over as he felt a small blush begin to creep up on his cheeks. "Nothing," replied Sephiroth as he looked away directing his attention towards the glass of water that he had. He hoped that the other hadn't seen his blush. Zack could see the distress on the other's face, figuring that it was his fault for the most part, and he said"Don't worry about it." Both Sephiroth and Zack hoped that the other male would just drop it, but they weren't too sure that it would happen or not.

Cloud would sighs deeply wishing he was a fly on the wall sometimes when Sephiroth and Zack talk while he was away. But of course he had to drop it maybe one day he would find out. "Alright I guess we better ask the waitress to bring something to put our food in. Of course I'm not in a rush or anything" chuckles abit. He was really excited to see both Zack and Sephiroth spar before they head to the sky deck hoping they wouldn't be late to see the meteor shower.
Looking up across the room he nearly fell out of his chair seeing someone walking in. "Oh crap..." before looking down. Reno had just walking in and he just prays Reno didn't see him. Ever since that one date a month ago. And Cloud knew it wouldn't work out with Reno since after all he was a Turk so he told him he didn't want to see him. But the guy didn't seem to like the answer no so he felt like Reno was stalking him or something. Now he knew they really need to get their leftovers and get out of here before Reno notice.""Hey Cloud!" to late Reno had saw him at the table with Sephiroth and Zack then goes over to where he was. |
Sephiroth's eye twitched a fraction of an inch when he heard the red-head. He didn't like turks, and he especially didn't like the turk specifically named Reno. Turning to look over his shoulder he saw the long red haired male come walking over to him. He narrowed his eyes a little bit to keep the other at bay, but he wondered if the other would actually listen to him. He didn't like competition.

Cloud shutters when Reno was heading over. He really didn't want to speak to him nor cause a scene in the restrantant. He looks over at Sephiroth and saw he didn't want the red head over. But of course the red head didn't pay any attention to Sephiroth at the moment. He just focus right on Cloud "Hey man why haven't you called lately?" Cloud closes his eyes wishing he would disappear "Because I was busy with training..now if you would excuse me please leave..you are ruining my time with my friends. Beside I told you I don't want to see you again. Because you lied to me." says kinda harshly. It was the first time anyone would see Cloud like this but he hated when people lies to him. Reno tilts his head and rolls his eyes before taking notice over to Sephiroth and Zack before looking back over to Cloud. "Ahh fine..." before he waked away. Cloud loks up at them "Sorry about this..he just can't take the hint sometimes..." shrugged.

Sephiroth and Zack both nodded at the same time. Their tolerance for the red head had come and gone rather early in their SOLDIER careers. Sure the other was able to get the job done regardless of the conditions that he had to do them in, but his methods were ones to question. Turks were supposed to be silent, stealthy, neither seen nor heard. However, the red head was boisterous. It was as if the Turk wanted everyone to know where he was and what he was doing at any given point in time. "It's quite alright," said Sephiroth as he finished the rest of his beverage. "We were going to be heading out anyway." Sephiroth flagged over a waiter, the waiter left, and then came back with 3 boxes. Sephiroth began putting his remaining food in the box as he thought of the coming spar that he would have with Zack.

Cloud puts his food that was left on the plate into the box. He just wanted to get the whole Reno mess behind him. He was just glad it didn't spoil the rest of the evening. It would exciting to see the spar between Zack and Sephiroth when they get back. "Alright lets get going before he decides to come back." says standing up. He pushes the chair back and takes the box with his food inside while waiting for them to get up from the table.

Sephiroth could feel how agitated the other male was getting, and he found himself glancing at Zack, who was still drinking from his drink. Clearly, the other male didn't see his non-verbal cues. Clearing his throat made the other look at him though. Piling the rest of his food into a Styrofoam box he closed it, and then looked towards the silver haired General as he did the same. Soon the three of them were ready to go. He knew that Cloud was uneasy, and he wanted to help the other. He wanted to comfort the other, but right now they needed to leave the restaurant. "Alright," said Sephiroth. "Let's head back. We need to spar after all still." Zack gave him a knowing look as he came up next to the waiting General and the blonde cadet.

Cloud watches Zack finally noticing and getting up. Once both of them was away from the table he heads to the door and outside of the restaurant into the fresh hair. Cloud runs his hand thought his hair abit staring up at the sky before making his way over to the chocobos. At lease the red hair jerk was already gone with the rest so he didn't have to worry about seeing him much. But there would be times he would see him maybe on missons.

Sephiroth followed out after the other male. He could tell that the other was rather annoyed about something. Most likely about Reno, then again who wasn't annoyed by the red headed male. It always unnerved him when he was around the other. He wanted to swat him away like an annoying insect. Walking over to his chocobo, he patted its head, and then mounted it quickly. Reigning it in he turned it towards Midgar and began a slow pace so that the other two could catch up.

Cloud gets up onto his chocobo and heads back to Migar with the others. He catches up with Sephiroth and Zack as he looks up at the sky alittle. Cloud couldn't wait until later as he always heard the sky deck was the best place to look up at the sky. And plus it had a nice view of the whole area. He nibbes his lip alittle wondering if Sephiroth would join him later after he watches the spar between Sephiroth and Zack. Since it was rare to see both men fighting anyway...but he was sure he would see alot more once they go on missons and stuff during the training.

The entered through the stables again, and Sephiroth hopped off of his chocobo. After he took its saddle off, he brushed it down, gave him some greens, and then ushered him into his stall for the night. He waited for Zack and Cloud to do the same. Once that was done, he exited the stables as he made his way towards the training ground. Zack and Sephiroth usually went all out with no holds barred, but he didn't want to scare the quiet observer so he would let up a little bit on the raven haired SOLDIER member.

Cloud gets off his chocobo and does the same like taking off the staddle and give the chocobo greens. He could get used on riding a chocobo every day now since this chocobo seem to take a liking towards him. Once after he was done with the care of the chocobo. Cloud heads out of the stable and follows Sephiroth and Zack to the training grounds to watch them train. He sat somewhere where he could see but wouldn't be in the way of the training between the two men.

Sephiroth made his way to the training grounds with Zack and Cloud in tow. Once there he stood on one side of the training field, and Zack stood on the other. "Alright," said Sephiroth. "You know the rules. Level 2 spells or less, and no summons. Anything else goes." Zack nodded as he unsheathed his Buster Sword. Before Zack could even blink Sephiroth was in front of him with his masamune fully drawn as it clashed with the others.

Cloud watches Sephiroth with his masamune out as he just stares at the masamune. It was the first time he ever saw Sephiroth's weapon in real life before. He always saw it in pictures in the newspaper but never knew how long it was until now. Shaking his head he sat there watching, hearing the clash of swords between to the two men. It made his heart skip a beat to watch Sephiroth. He was more staring at Sephiroth's move than Zack. Mainly because he had a serious crush on the male. There was still so much he wanted to learn about Sephiroth but he knew it would just take time. There was things he probbly wouldn't understand like what was being done to him in the labs. Cloud sighs deeply leaning back against the chair.

Sephiroth could feel that Cloud was staring him down, so he knew that he would need to put on a show for the other male. Jumping back from the other he let his eyes slide closed as a piece of materia glowed in his hand. "Lightning!" yelled out Sephiroth as raw energy crackled in his hand throwing light off of the walls.
Zack gulped as he looked at the other, and brought up his arms in defense. Thinking quickly he decided to summon up his own magic as well, but this one was fire. Throwing his arms forward both spells hit each other at the same time throwing sparks and fire every which way. Cloud was far enough away thought that he would be alright though. This went on for a bit longer, until Zack said that he was ready to quit. They had been fighting for the better part of an hour. "Alright," said Sephiroth from across the room. Walking over to Cloud he smiled at him and said,"So what did you think? Pretty soon you will be doing magic like that." |
