Phil nodded and stood up. "Getting to old to keep up with you two." he opened the door to find finx on the other side a blank look on her face. "Finx?"

"finx are you ok" lilly asked.

Finx walked past them her eyes forward and smiled. "Of course."

"what happened?" lilly asked. she could tell something was up.

"i forgot my cloak thats all." She said going to her room and closing the door. "Ok something happened." Phil said. "it looked like she was about to break down."

"yeah but i dont want to risk her getting mad at me because i ask about it. your turn to talk to her" lilly said.

Phil sighed and went upstairs and stepped right in fromt of finx's door as it opened. "OWW!" He said cluching his face. "OH! OW!." Finx raised her eyebrow at him and smiled slightly. "Sorry phil." She was wearing her cloak now and she swept pass him and was out the door before her could even say anything. He went to the freezer and got an ice pack. "I think its swollen."

"that was weird. i think maybe guys arent good with talking to girls. they obviously dont know the rules. you keep an arm length from the door when the girl is mad phil. i will go" she siad and got her sword and knifes and followed finx.

She found finx fighting a wolf her angry ovious in the way she sliced into the wolf even though it was dead.

Lilly walked forward. "finx can i please talk to you" she asked.

Finx whirled around and stared at her. "What about?" She said wiping her hatchet off on her cloak.

"well first off all i am sorry about earlier. and second you have been acting distant since you stormed off today" she said.

"i don't know what you're talking about." She said sitting down on a bench and reclined against it.

"well you didn't stop to help phil when you hit his nose and you totaly didnt give him a chance to talk to you a second ago and you ignored us when you came in from hunting" she said.

"i always ignore people and i didn't know he wanted to talk and phils a big boy he can take care of himself. Besides its just a nose he doesn't need that." She said and nodded like she just solved the worlds problems.

"finx you forget i have known you for 10 years so i know something is wrong. Please tell me" she said.

"Nothings wrong." She said with a shrug and put up her hood as a couple guys past them they smiled at lilly but didn't even seem to notice finx. Lilly could tell that bothered finx a little but finx just watched them pass and pulled her hood back down once they we're gone.

"i can tell something is wrong like i can tell that bothered you. " she said.

finx let out a sigh. "Mostly guys just don't notice me like those two but we know them with the apple festival coming up there have been a whole lot of new boys and they tend to stare is all." She could tell it was something deeper then that.

Lilly sat down beside her. "finx i know that bothers you. thats why i was trying to help you this morning but i guess i didnt think to listen to if you wanted to or not. And i know you wont let me try again since you don't want to believe your normal. You aren't normal. normal people couldn't cook as good as you for starters" she said with a smile. "and plus i have seen you kill a wolf. even i cant do that good and i was a wolf when i was little!!. you are right. you aren't normal. you're special and guys are just to stupid to understand that" she said.

"i just wish once once someone would tell me the loved me and hug me maybe even give me a kiss. is that so hard to ask for?" She said looking up at the moonlite sky and sighed.

"unless they are sweet and not jerks then i doubt that but i am sure you will meet the guy for you one day" she said. She didn't even notice half of the guys who looked at her.

"i would be happy even if it was a girl. Although are gender can be worse then boys." She said and leaned her head against lillys shoulder.

"true some girls are bitches" she said with a little laugh. "look i know you don't want me helping tou like earlier but can i atleast give you some tips" she said.

"i guess." She said half asleep on her shoulder.
