Katara's arm slipped around him their lips nearly fussed together neither stopping the kiss till they had to come up for air, and even then they came right back for another kiss, it was almost desperate their kissing, Katara slide her hands down his back her mouth opening as his tongue slid along her bottom lip wanting it inside as much as he wanted it to. His tongue plunged into her mouth meeting her own his mouth muffling a soft gasp.

They should have been back by now, Aang was growing impatient he knew he hadn't left that far ahead of them. He was about to turn back and check on them once more when Toph stopped him with a rock wall. "Knock it off Twinkle Toes they are allowed to have privacy" Toph snapped annoyed, she knew they liked each other, had been able to tell even when they acted like they hated each other. She thought they would work well together even if she couldn't see them, their very personalities seemed to work. "But..." Aang whined "No buts Twinkle Toes" she snapped again letting the rock wall fall back into smooth ground.

(Oh yes Toph is blind)

Zuko let out a strangled moan. His tounge fighting with hers. His breath was coming out in shaky gasps that made his whole body tremble. "K-Katara.." his voice was not like his own. He could feel a new emotion..lust.

She felt warm all over, but she wasn't sick so why was she so warm? A soft whimper that was muffled by his mouth slipped out, they drew away she felt light headed, not wanting to stop yet knowing she should. Bracing her palms on his chest she pushed him back a little to give herself some room some air to think. "Z-Zuko we have to get back before they start wondering" she finally got out her heart starting to slow. Leaning forward she kissed him lightly before taking his hand and leading the way back towards camp.

He gasp. "ok." he smiled he let her lead her back to the others. "I'm telling them." he told her. He knew it had his feelings had gone to far to keep secret.

Lacing her fingers through his Katara nodded, though they said they would keep it a secret until things got serious she knew that even though the time had been so short it was serious. "Okay but let's break it to them lightly, I know my brother will be okay with it, Toph won't really care, but we both know Aang isn't going to like this at all" she said looking over at him, she hoped he was serious, hoped he was ready for the scene surely to come when they got back to camp. Which was looming ever closer, they were nearly there squeezing his hand lightly she readied herself as well, which was a good thing because the look on Aangs face when they got there was one of shocked anger.

His eyes barely made out the two forms coming towards camp standing to close, but when the light hit them he saw they were holding hands his eyes flickered between them shock, anger, and hurt flowing through him. He knew from the looks on their faces that what he feared was true they were together, he didn't want to believe it wanted them to just be playing some cruel joke. "What is this?! Katara why are you guys holding hands? Did he do something to you!?" because obviously it wasn't Katara's fault the fire prince had tricked her somehow.

Zuko looked at Katara nervously. Then he looked at Aang. He looked down and sighed wondering how to explain this to Aang. "um...we..I-I" he stammered. "Were together now." he knew Aang was going KILL him. He didn't really know how to explain everything. He looked at Katara for help. He couldn't talk.

Katara frowned at his inability to explain, so much for him telling people. "Aang it's like Zuko so badly said, me and him are together" she told him firmly refusing to feel bad for how she felt about Zuko. She squeezed his hand reassuringly as Aang's look of hurt deepened.
Aang was left speechless eyes flickering between the pair tears starting to well up that he couldn't let spill over. How could she and him be going out? They had hated each other... turning away he stalked away from the camp refusing to look at them, refusing to talk to them. A tear spilled over falling down his cheek

Zuko sighed. Damn he was a coward. Why had he froze up. He chased after Aang. He wanted to hug the guy and tell him everything was alright but he stopped. He knew Aang needed privacy. He looked back at Katara. "Sorry" he murmured "I'm not always this much of a coward." he was quite embarrassed and decoded to go for a little walk. He went about a mile away from camp and made a little fire. He sat near it staring into the flames.

Aang went farther from camp then he actually meant to stumbling over a rock he didn't see in the dark he fell flat but didn't get up, didn't want to, how could they do this to him? A hand on his back brought him to his feet in one quick move on the defense, but it was just Katara with an apologetic look on her face tears in her eyes. He hated the look of sadness there knowing he put it there, wanted to reach out and hug her but he just couldn't she and Zuko had hurt him betrayed him he couldn't forgive her.

"Aang I'm sorry your hurt, but I'm not sorry me and Zuko are together, I like him he likes me that's just the way it is." she didn't know what to say all she wanted to do was ease the hurt she saw so clearly in his eyes, eyes that shone with tears the same as hers did. "Aang I know nothing I say can make you feel better but I hope you'll be okay with us don't hate us for caring about each other"

Aang stayed silent, leaving Katara on the edge as to whether he would accept her apology, but he couldn't stay mad at her, he could harbor an anger towards Zuko but not her, not this girl that he loved. Closing the space between them he took the taller girl into his arms giving her the forgiveness she sought. But he refused to forgive Zuko.

"Will they be okay you think?" Toph called out to Sokka worried, she had figured something like this would happen, but hadn't expected such a reaction from Aang they all knew he liked Katara but she hadn't thought it was more then a puppydog crush that it would go away. But his feelings seemed deeper. "It'll be alright Toph, Aang will bounce back he is the avatar after all.

Zuko almost fell asleep. He put out the fire and made a confusing path that no one could follow. He then wandered off and slept in a large tree. He didn't want to be seen right now. He would go back in the morning.
