Fenris heard the change in Night's voice, and looked over surprised. It was clearly Amore. The light in her eyes was different and everything. Fenris pulled her into a tight embrace, before he could stop himself. Almost instantly, he let go and scooted over a little bit. The thought that this was a trap crossed his mind, but he wasn't hinking very well. The name Seto sounded familiar, but Fenris couldn't remember from where.

(please tell me that's not her brother, if it is then that would be a mighty fail on Fenris' part XD)

(nah it's a really really close cousin of hers XP though he was like a brother and he hung out around her allot so that would be bad that he forgot XD )

Night and Amore were both shocked when they felt Fenris hug them though looked at him and smiled slightly though then looked back through the goggles and looked around to see almost no one around. "There's only a few people here most are inside by now." she whispered softly and knew no one here so it didn't matter to her as she handed the goggles back and waited to see what they were going to do.

Fenris sneaked into a nearby building, and searched it from top to bottom. Finding a few cans of food, Fenris quickly packed them up. He grinned at Night before he realized it, and quickly looked away. He wanted to scream. It was just so frustrating. Was that Amore before, or was Night just playing some kind of game. Shaking his head, Fenris continued to search the nearby buildings. He suddenly remembered where he'd heard that name before. He nearly dropped the can of food he was holding. Amore's cousin was here.

Night fallowed closely to Fenris and held anything that he handed her and also kept her eyes and ears open. 'He's not here I know it... not anymore... he had to get out... he must be somewhere else... somewhere out there alive and looking for shelter.' Amore whispered in their mind and Night was unsure. 'I don't know to be honest... as far as we know this is the last colony of humans left and it's rather small.' Night thought back as she continued to walk and think as she helped as best she could.

As Fenris finished raiding the last house, he divided up the loot so that he'd be carrying the heaviest weight. All they way back to the Humvee, he watched Night, hoping, NEEDING, another sign that Amore was in there. But no luck. They'd reached the Humvee, and All Fenris had seen was night. He loaded the back, and jumped in the passenger side seat while he watied for his partner to show up. Punching the dashboard, Fenris cried, "Dammit! Why do you have to play mind games with me!?!" he began to sob, quietly at first, but slowly he was losing control.

Night worked in silence with Fenris for the rest of the time and did anything and everything that he told her to do. When they got to the car she sat in the back seat and wondered if he was going to get back there when his partner came back or if he was going to get into the back after they were at the half way point since she knew that they didn't want her to see the way there or back. She looked at him softly and almost sadly though also a bit confused. "What do you mean?" she asked quietly just to make sure what she thought he was talking about was correct.

Fenris jumped. He hadn't known Night got in with him. "Nothing." He muttered darkly, wiping his face. He climbed in back with Night, while he waited for Sintro to show up. Sighing, he leaned against his door, and stared into space. he was trying to figure out if that had really been Amore, or if it was an elaborate hoax. To pass the time, Fenris started to ask Night a few questions, not like an interrigation, but questions he'd always wondered. questions like, "Why do you guys need hosts in the first place?" And "Have there ever been any cases of hosts and aliens co-existing in the same body?"

Night listened to Fenris' questions and answered them easily. "Well... if you've ever seen a soul before, which I'm sure you have, we are very small and rather helpless creatures. There have been a few planets where we got allong very well with the natives of the planet. Here it was different though, as soon as we got here we were attacked." She explained softly though what she didn't say was that her and Amore actually communicated with each other.

Fenris nodded slowly, "So I guess this whole thing was just one big misunderstanding huh?" Fenris said bitterly. He continued to stare off into space, until Sintro got back. "How'd your half go?" Fenris asked as Sintro drew closer.

"Humans have more free will and strength then others" Night said softly then looked out her window quietly before glancing at Sintro as he put his haul in the back and looked at Fenris. "Well it looks like you had better luck then me... I couldn't find that much where I went." he sighed before he got in the car and started to drive back the way they came seeming to be thinking a bit as he drove.

Fenris smiled at what Night said. It made him proud to be honest. He tried to reassure Sintro, and say, "Don't worry about it. Everybody has an off day. Or two. Or ten." He finished with a grin. When they reached the halfway point, Fenris quickly blindfolded night again, though he didn't bind her up.

"Shut up" Sintro said then concentrated on driving and didn't even worry about what was going on in the back seat since he knew that Fenris could handle the soul on his own. Night was a bit taken off guard when the blindfold came over her eyes though didn't try to remove it as she just sat there and was a bit surprised that Fenris hadn't bound her hands together to keep her from even trying to move the blindfold.

Fenris also removed the gun from her. She'd been peaceful enough, but he still didn't quite trust her. He folded his arms, and watched her, intent for any movement that seemed like she would remove the blind fold. When they arrived, a group of people quickly unloaded the humvee. Jumping out, Fenris gently pulled Night after him. He wondered why he was being so nice. He shrugged the thought off, and removed her blindfold.

(wait... he wasn't supposed to until they got farther from the entrance since they didn't want her knowing the way out XP I said that before XP and he had to carry her up there... I think anyway XP )

(it's one book and mostly I'm going by ear other then the fact that they don't want her knowing how to get out and that no one trusts her XP they park in the mouth of the cave then he would get out and get her though she can't walk since they don't want her to know anything about the passage so he has to carry her XP )

Night relaxed when she felt the gun being removed from her pocket and it was clear that it had been bothering her to keep it there. She didn't like weapons or violence at all, it bothered her so of course she didn't like having a gun with her of any kind. She just sat there and leaned her head back into the seat just enjoying the feel for now since she knew that she would more then likely go back to sleeping on that mat instead of a real bed. She stayed still and calm as she felt herself being picked up and wondered some why he was being nice to her, as far as he knew Amore wasn't even here anymore even though she was quite clearly there.

Fenris lay Amore down, and took a breather. he sighed and wondered aloud, "What am I going to do about you....?" When he realized what he'd said, he winced and said, "Sorry, just thinking aloud. Don't mind me at all." He rubbed his temples though, and he was clearly bothered. He was trying to figure out what he felt about this alien.

(um... okay did he like stop where she had been staying? if he had then was she able to take the blindfold off?)

(dang sorry, i'm pretty tired, yeah, he stopped there, he also removed her blindfold. He's actually sitting down across from her. Ij'd add that but i don't wanna edti..... XD)

Night watched Fenris after he had laid her down and took off the blindfold. 'LET ME TALK TO HIM!' Amore begged though Night denied her. "He'll think it's a trap... at least I think he will. I think he thought it was a trick earlier when you said something about your cousin...' Night sighed to her softly and wished slightly that she could grant her request though there just wasn't any way to without risking both of their lives.

Fenris cocked his head, and asked, "What happens to the people who's bodies you take? Do they get put in your old bodies, or what?" he was genuinely curious. It had bothered him since Amore had disappeared. He wasn't sure yet if he wanted to know though. He honestly wouldn't be surprised if Amore was just some puddle of slime in a corner somewhere.
