"I don't know why we took over... the souls..." Night sighed some shaking her head a bit as she looked at Drake and nodded some to his comment and knew she could do that since she really did want to get along with everyone and for everyone not to hate her and she hoped that he wouldn't soon enough either.

Drake, paused wondered aloud, "What am I supposed to do now?" He thought for a moment, but all he could think of to do was take Night to go eat, but he wasn't sure if she was hungry. Drake sighed, This seemed a little bit more complex than he'd thought at first.

"I think dinner's being served or will be soon if you're hungry?" Night said quietly though was unsure of anything else. "Normally I just fallow Fenris around." She said quietly letting him know that mostly he could go about his day like always, she would just have to fallow.

(hmm. that's weird. On my profile, my siggy says posts instead of signatures, but on all of the rps is says sig..... strange ^_^)

Drake nodded his silent thanks. After taking her to dinner quick, he wandered around and did what he normally did. He looked for some way to be helpful. On many days, there wasn't much for him to do, but today, they needed somebody to help clean. Drake set to it with gusto. He hated the days when he just sat around and ate. They made him feel extremely guilty. He chit-chated with Night while he worked. He talked about Fenris, the colony, Fenris, how he got there, Fenris, and most of all, Fenris. It was obvious that he had a sort of hero worship.

Night listened intentenly as Drake spoke and was a bit shocked at how much he spoke of Fenris. "Wow you must really look up to Feris don't you?" She smiled some when he had took a pause from talking. She continued to work with him though as she waited for his response. She soon found herself looking up and around though as she felt harsh eyes on her and she shrank away from the feeling and it was clearly vissible when she did.

Drake's face fell and he said, "Early on in the...... invasion. My neighborhood was targeted by a large group of seekers. Fenris was still with the military then, and they were trying to get people out and somewhere safe. A group of them caught me and my family, and Fenris forced the convoy to stop, and he charged in and saved my all by himself. My family......." He trailed off a bit at this part, then continued, "Anyway. When we got where we were going, Fenris went out of his way to act like an older brother to me." At the end, Drake shrugged, and said, "So the least I can do to repay him, Is to do my best to help him in any way I can."

"Ow... I'm sorry." Night whispered softly and she was, she didn't like how things had went now that she knew the human side of the story and how horrible it was that everyone's families were gone and there was no telling when or if they would be caught. She then looked around again worriedly when she continued to feel the harsh glare on her though she couldn't figure out who it was or where it was coming from... though it made her feel very uncomfortable and unsafe.

(could we say that Drake maybe did have a brother or a cousin that did survive and was there in the colony? Or just someone that hated the souls and would try to hurt or kill Night when they got the chance? I want that to come up soon XP )

(hmm. I've got the stirrings of an idea..... any guidelines, other than he tries to kill night?)

Drakes shrugged and said, "Don't be. You're not exactly a Seeker, and you weren't there. You have nothing to apologize for THAT incident." However, his tone indicated that she DID have something she should be sorry for, another incident.

(um... most any way would be good so long as it's not in anywhere where someone might see him do it since he would be stopped XP in the book the guy that tried to kill Wanderer tried to drawn her but we don't have to do that XP though no guns, only a few have those anyway unless they were on a mission XP )

Night flushed some as she looked down almost feeling that it was her fault though Amore assured her that it was okay and that she didn't really have anything to do with it. "I didn't get a choice... I didn't take her a Seaker did then I was put here..." she whispered quietly though didn't mention that Amore was still there.... as far as she knew there were only three people that knew that Amore was still there and that was Fenris, Doc, and Mason, the leader of the colony.

(out of curiosity, how did mason learn? and how about knives? I agree wholeheartedly about the guns thing, and not just because of the guns themselves. Ammo has to be worth more than gold at this point.)'

Drake said nothing, but merely turned and went back to work. However, another was not ignoring night. In a shadow across the room, Kal glared at Night with an intense hatred. He didn't have any particular reason to hate her, except for the fact that she was one of THEM. And that's all the reason Kal needed.

(He's the leader of the colony XD he would have found out one way or another I was thinking that Fenris told him after her bugged him about it enough XD )

Night sighed some as she started working then after a little bit stopped and looked at Drake. "I'm going to the restroom... I think I'll be fine on my own so don't worry." she smiled some before she started to walk towards the part of the cave that had a tonal that lead to a little area with a little steam that they would use for the restroom and on the other side in another area close to it there was a bath and in front of the two sepperate caves there was a steam to get water from. She sighed once she found the room and was glad that no one was in there though she still felt an uneasiness about her so she was going to try and hurry to get back to the gardening cave.

(I'd say when she comes out is when he attacks her XP and yes knives are fine XP )

It' esentially a sharpened peice of metal...... and thats about it XD and I'm fine with mason knowing, i just thought i missed something important.)

Drake nodded his understanding, and went back to work. However, in the shadows, Kal grinned. He'd finally have his chance. He followed the girl into a bathroom. making sure nobody was nearby, he followed her in. He snuck up as close as he could, before he said, "This is where your evil dies!" before lunging at her with a knife he had concealed.

Night was shocked when she had been coming out and heard the males voice and moved to avoid him but wasn't exactly sure which side he was coming from. She turned around and her eyes got wide as she saw the knife and slowly backed up staring at the man with wide eyes. She put her hands up in a giving up type manner though didn't stop backing up as she prayed that he wouldn't hurt her but she had a feeling she would at least get a little hurt before someone came to see what was going on... at least she hoped someone came.

(okay XD and it actually could be a normal pocket knife they would have those XP ow and she actually does get hurt before she stops him XP)

Kal slashed at her a couple of times, nothing fatal unfortunately, but a large gash on the cheek, a slight stab in the rib, and a cut on her arm appeared pretty quickly. Deciding that she was too mobile, Kal decided to ram her against the wall, then stab her until she died.

Mair cried when she was hit with the blade then cried out when she was hit roughly into the wall and felt the knife dig into her stomach though luckily it wasn't big enough to do too much damage as she struggled weakly to get free and screamed out for help hoping someone would hear her... anyone.

Drake thought he heard screaming, so he came over to investigate. He saw somebody from the colony that he recognized by face, but not name. Uttering a wordless battle cry, Drake tackled the man from behind, and managed to pull him off of Night.

Night whimpered weakly as she fell to the ground and wrapped her hand around the knife carefully and slowly pulled it out before she passed out from the beating and also loosing quite a bit of blood already. Tears were falling from her eyes from the pain though they didn't last for too long as she passed out and both her and Amore were worried that they might die from this wound.

Drake pushed the man back, and tried to hit him. However, the man was twice his size, and fully grown. Resorting to a few of the lessons Fenris had taught him, Drake managed to barely beat the man into unconsciousness. After a quick glance at Night, Drake went sprinting for the doctor. Drake though, OH man, Fenris is gonna kill me......

(he took her with him right? You didn't say that :sweat: just making sure )

(hmm. Actually, i was gonna have him bring the doc to her, but in hindsight yes, he took her with him. Don't worry, I won't kill you yet XD)

Night was gasping weakly when she was picked up just from how much her stomach and other places were hurting. The two worst places was the cut in her stomach and the slash across her face since that was pretty deep... though it hadn't broken through all the skin thankfully. Doc looked up when he heard someone running down the corridor and wondered some what was going on as he soon saw Drake with Night though couldn't see the cuts just yet. "What's going on Drake?" he asked softly as he looked at the male worriedly and knew that it wasn't a good thing by the way he was rushing to get in there.

"I don't know Doc. One of the guys went crazy and tried to kill Night." Drake panted out, "He's knocked out in one of the bathroom now, but still." He did his best to set Night down on the table gently, "Oh man, Fenris is gonna kill me. I was supposed to keep her safe, oh man oh man oh man."

(hmmm...... I really need to work on my panicking 17 year old...... do you know any that I could terrorize? I think I'll need an example or ten. XD)

"Calm down Drake it'll be okay he won't be back for at least two weeks." Doc said softly as he got out some bandages and cleaned the wounds before covering them and making sure that the bandages wouldn't come off... they didn't have many but it was rare for anyone to get hurt this bad. "She'll be okay she just needs some rest and not to get up for awhile since her stomach was sliced pretty bad though I don't think it hit her actual stomach so she should be okay." he said softly as he carefully moved Night to an actual cot in the room so she could sleep at least a little more comfortably. "I'd say a little later you should try to move her back to Fenris' room for her to rest on a normal bed." he said softly as he cleaned his hands off in a bucket with water in it and was confident that the girl would be okay now.
