Kina looked at her hands, "We didn't want to shelter the monsters...and having one inside us dosnt make us the monsters either..." she clenched her fists
natsuki's demon is kind, unlike mine....she's lucky... she thought
"Kina..." Natsuki went over too the little girl, "You almost lost yourself..." she llooked at gaara, "T-thanks...!"
he..he actually talked to me...!

Gaara didn't answer. He just nodded his head. He was still pouting about Temari's glare. She was sapossed to care about him, but if she hated that girl then she hated him. he stared at the sky.

Natsuki took Kina and walked over to Gaara, she sat down by him

He looked at her. "Hi..." he felt a strange presence and knew both had demons." So your Natsuki?"

She nodded quickly "Y-yes...!" she was trying hard not to show her blushing

Gaara wondered if she was afraid. She had stuttered as she spoke. "Are you alright?" He cocked an eyebrow and his face was emotionless, his arms crossed across his chest.

Y-yes...!"
h..he actually cares...?!
Kina smiled, stood up, and walked to the other end of the roof

Gaara looked at Kina who had now went to the other side of the roof. "W-were are you going Kina?" Gaara's eyes were wide. Had he offended her? What had he done? He didn't like the idea of being left alone with Natsuki. He didn't know why, but she made him feel really strange on the inside. He slid a little ways away from her and tried not to act stupid. "So...um...what's up?" He groaned on the inside. He sucked at being casual.

Natsuki slightly giggled, "Nothing much..."

Gaara looked down and fiddled with his fingers, his cheeks felt hot and were very red. "oh...ok...um...do you like looking at the stars?" wow he was so lame! He thought she was sure to get bored with him so enough. He laid back on the roof and stared into the sky.He could feel his eyelids wanting to close, but he refused to let them.

"..." Natsuki smiled, and closed her eyes for a few seconds, "I do...Sometimes i think i see my future..."

Gaara propped his head on one of his hands. He again shook off the sleep that tried to claim him. She seemed to calm him for some reason. He stood up afraid if he didn't he really would take a nap and then he would be completely possessed "I'm going in for a while..would you care to join? I can get you food or something..." He crawled back in the window.

"..." Natsuki looked at him, "Sure...!" she got up, and followed him

He motioned for her to follow him into the kitchen he made some tea for the both of them. He then looked for some cookies in the pantry. "Kankuro!!!! Where are the cookies?" Kankuro came in in his pajamas "Why? You never eat any?" "Well I want some now!" Kankuro sighed and got them down from a really high shelf. Gaara brought them back to the table and poured hot tea into two cups. Kankuro looked at him funny. He rolled his eyes. "your gay Gaara." Gaara ignored him and sat with Natsuki.

Natsuki smiled awkwardly, and rubbed the back of her head

Gaara smiled at her sipping his tea. His eyes were half closed with exhaustion. "So what are you doing tomorrow? Are you busy?"

"..Nothing really..." she blushed more

Kankuro nearly growled watching Gaara flirt like a little school boy. "She may not have anything to do but your busy tomorrow!" Gaara frowned. "I am?" Kankuro nodded. "You have a fight to attend remember?" Gaara sighed "Well that sucks.."

"...Well..I'll be cheering you on then...!" she smiled

Kankuro sighed as Gaara's face lit up like a Christmas tree. "R-really?" Gaara gave a small, shy smile. Kankuro dragged Gaara out of the kitchen. He was pretty sure Natsumi couldn't hear them. "Gaara stop flirting!" Kankuro glared but Gaara simply stuck out his little ping tongue. "I'm not flirting i'm making friends." Kankuro knew that had to be a lie. "Gaara you've never acted this.....silly in your life, not even as a child." Then Kankuro, seeing as how he was getting no where had a better plan. He took Natsumi and talked to her as well. He had her in his room and shut the door. He made sure Gaara stayed in the kitchen. Kankuro then gently kissed Natsumi and looked her dead in the eye. "Would you go out with me?"

"um..." she intensly blushed, never being kissed, "i..uh..S..sorry...but ...i like Gaara...I always have.." she looekd down, "ANd...Uh...I'm...ah...." she struggled at talking, being slightly dazed, "I barely know you, too..."

Kankuro gave her a strange look of rejection mixed with anger. "You don't know Gaara either..." He was about to leave the room but when he oped the door he saw Gaara leaning up against his door.Gaara whined. "Why were you so quiet I couldn't even hear." Kankuro glared at his brother. "Don't talk to me." Kankuro's words were filled with hate and he left Gaara standing there. He looked puzzled. "Why is he mad at me?" Gaara mumbled.

Gaara let a small pout form on his lips. Kankuro was such a jerk! He looked at Natsuki. "Why is Kankuro mad at me? I never did anything to him!" He felt a few tears forming but he didn't let them show. He was Kankuro's brother and yet, he seemed to hate him...
