Taylor came into the kitchen and saw Eve making breakfast and asked if she wanted any help.

" Sure. Would like to start the toast?" She asked.

Taylor nodded and started making toast.

Eve finished up scrambling the eggs and put them in the hot pan. She hoped that everyone enjoyed eggs.

Taylor had finished with the first batch of toast and placed them on a plate before putting a second set of eight pieces of bread into the two toasters.

Eve finished the eggs and divided them on the plates.

Taylor got both the butter and jam out before putting them on the table with a knife for each. He then also cut the toast up and put two pieces on each plate. "Now all we do is wait, right?" he asked, wondering if they were finished.

"Right. Should I make sausage? " Eve said knowing there still was time.

"That might be a good idea," Taylor said after a few minutes. He had mentally gone through everyone that was there at the moment.

Eve got the sausage out and started to cook it. She hoped there would be enough.

Taylor asked if she needed any additional help while waiting for the sausages to cook.

" You could get the juice out please." Eve said with a smile.

"Sure," Taylor replied as he headed towards the fridge and got out the orange juice. He figured that everyone would start waking up soon and was glad to have helped Eve out.

" Thank you Taylor for your help. " Eve said as she finished the sausage.

"It's the least I could do," he replied.

Eve smiled and heard the others approaching. " Morning everyone. " She said with a smile.

"Morning Eve, morning Taylor," Alex replied as he made his way towards the kitchen. He still had a small grin on his face as to what happened.

" Morning Alex. Hope you slept well. " Eve said with a smile.

"I did. What about you two?" he asked before thanking both Taylor and Eve for making breakfast.

" I slept pretty good. " Taylor said.

" I slept alright. " Eve said, not wanting Alex to know about the nightmares.

Alex nodded. He sensed that Eve wasn't quite telling the truth but didn't feel like prying. If she didn't want to tell him then that was her priority. Although he would ask Jean if she had talked to the ex-receptionist knowing that the Blue Dragon fighter usually got up early.

"Hope everyone likes eggs and sausage." Eve said handing the plates out.

Alex nodded and Leglius also agreed with the eggs. A few minutes later, both Yugito and Rikku came in the kitchen area with a small blush on their cheeks. "I so hate you right now," Yugito responded as she glanced at Ark before taking a plate of eggs and sausage.

"Relax Neko-hime, it was only a prank. I do it on everyone in the party at various points in time," he said after taking a bite out of his food.

"Sadly, he's not joking," Jean replied as she entered the room, hearing the last few minutes of conversation. "But he only does a major prank like that once," she replied.

Eve was glad to see everyone eating and happy. She hoped that she could do something to help them that didn't involve going back.

Salem noticed that Eve was thinking about something while he was eating and wondered what was going through her head. He hoped that she wasn't having second thoughts, but could understand if she was.
