"Just be glad I have a lot of patience Thalia. Any news?" He asked after they had sat down at one of the tables of the small cafe.

" I do. "Thalia said and repeated what she had gone over with Deanna. She hoped that Eric would believe her.

"So...you allowed yourself to get captured by the target so that you could get inside the building, as well as get on both girl's good sides?" he asked, making sure that he understood the situation. If that was the case, then it was extremely risky on her part, especially if she were found out.

"You do realize that if you're found out what they'll do to you, right?" he asked, believing her. After all, she had no reason to lie to the person who had her Golden Fleece.

" I did and I do realize what they will to but I'm willing to risk that." Thalia said. She hoped he would never find out she was fooling him.

"As long as you know the risks, I don't want a pretty face such as yours to get hurt," he said.

" I understand. When do you want me to meet you again?" Thalia asked.

"How about next Friday? Hopefully by then you'll have gained your trainer's trust and able to get some information for us," Eric said.

" Sounds good to me." Thalia said. She hoped to somehow get her golden fleece back by then too.

Deanna waited patiently while Thalia was out with the scientist that held her Thalia's golden fleece. Even though she trusted Thalia, she was worried that the scientist, either male or female, would see right through her lies and destroy it. On that thought, she started brainstorming ideas on how to get the precious material back.

Thalia was glad when the meeting was over and hurried back to Deanna's apartment. She knocked on the door still feeling a bit intimidated.

Deanna opened the door quickly and was glad to see Thalia standing out there, a silent breath of air exhaling from her lips as she saw her first bishie. Moving to the side, she quickly let Thalia come inside.

"Thank you." Thalia said feeling a bit nervous. " I think he believed me ." She said once the door was closed.

"But he believed you, which is all that matters," Deanna said. "When did he want to meet with you next?" She asked after Thalia came in and she closed the door.

" Next Friday. He wants me to gather more information and I plan to do so, though with your help." Thalia said. She was going to keep deceiving Eric until he would give her her Golden Fleece. She knew Deanna would help her as much as she could.

"What do you need me to do?" Dea asked, wanting to know what she could to help Thalia, knowing that until she got her Fleece back she couldn't say that she was truly free from the Scientists.

" I'm not sure yet. I need to find a way to get my Golden Fleece , but I fear if I get caught it will be destroyed." Thalia said. She had to find a way.

"What if it wasn't you who tried getting the Fleece?" Dea asked. She had two ideas on how to get close, but both were very risky.

" That would work. Who would steal it?" Thalia asked. She still hadn't told Tracy about her connection with the scientists.

"Well...I could capture another Bishie or we could tell Tracy and have her and Eragon try something," she replied.

" Either one would work. I think we should be honest to Tracy." Thalia said.

Deanna nodded at Thalia's decision. "She's probably going to be angry at us though..."

" I know. " Thalia said feeling guilty. "We could wait to tell her once this was over but I feel that would make things worse. " She added.

"You're probably right. Do you want me to call Tracy now and see if she's free or wait until tomorrow?" she asked.

" Wait until tomorrow." Thalia said. She knew how busy Tracy could get and didn't want to bother her this late in the day.

"Alright," Deanna said, wondering if Thalia was starting to get hungry.
