" Could it have to do with the disappearances in the past? " Tyler asked. He remembered that from what his friend told him before he disappeared himself. His friend had been investigating the disappearances of other trainers.

"It's possible, but they caught the person responsible for it. Unless...if someone else picked up that traitor's work...," he started saying before shaking his head. It was possible, but highly unlikely. When they caught the person, they destroyed all the data after all.

" Did they ever find the missing trainers? My friend disappeared about six months ago. I hope it isn't starting again ."

"I don't know, honestly...sorry," Alex said as they walked towards the building where he had his dex modified. Getting his dex back, he looked at it quickly, surprised to see an e-reader app being added and making it look a little slimmer as well. "What's your friend's name?" He asked.

" Michael Sanders. He was an investigator . He wanted me to become a trainer so I could help him, but I wasnt interested then. I wish I was though then he wouldnt have disappeared ." Tyler felt it was his fault.

Ark turned around and looked at Tyler. "The Hound, Michael Sanders? That investigator?" He asked as he turned and raised an eyebrow. He was surprised that Tyler was a friend of his, especially since he followed the story whenever he was in a town.

" That's him. We've been friends since we were kids. " He was use to the reaction when he told people that. Tyler usually stayed out of the way and didn't like to be mentioned but helped Michael when he could.

"Sorry, I bet you get that a lot," Ark said. "I don't think its your fault though that he went missing though, and perhaps if you were with him, you'd be missing yourself," Ark replied as his stomach growled, causing him to blush in embarrassment. "Now then...how about we find a hotel and then get some food?"

" Sounds like a good idea to me. What sounds good to you?" Tyler said , who was hungry himself. He was going to find Michael and the other missing trainers .

Alex shrugged. "Right now, any food sounds good," he said, looking around for something to eat. He then spotted a Sub shop in the distance and headed towards it quickly.

Tyler followed Ark to the sub shop. He wasn't sure what he would get yet, but anything would do .

Jean followed along shaking her head as she remembered that when her trainer got hungry like this. She went into the sub shop and noticed a free table where she sat down, knowing exactly what was going to happen. She waited as Ark ordered a ham and swiss sandwich for himself and a turkey sandwich for Jean as well as two waters. He paid for the meal and headed over to the table.

"You do this every time you know," she said in mock anger as he placed the sandwich and drink down in front of her before sitting down beside her.

"Sorry...will this make up for it?" He asked, knowing that she wasn't really angry at him. She took a small bite before looking back at him and nodded. "It will do." She replied with a small smirk.

Tyler ordered a chicken and provolone sub and a water. After he paid for the meal he went to sit by Ark and Jean. He was at a table nearby.

Ark finished his sandwich and water before getting up and throwing his trash away, Jean doing the same soon after. They then went back to the table and waited for Tyler to finish before they would find a hotel. After they secured a room, he would let his Bishies out. As he thought about them, his hand subconsciously went to his belt with the balls attached to them. "You know, we should probably get a menu, see what the other guys want to eat once we get a hotel," he said to which Jean nodded. He was just glad that Angelus had already eaten a few fish before coming back to town.

Tyler finished up his sub and threw away his trash. " Sorry if I took too long. I'm ready when you are to find a hotel. " He said.

"You're good, we just finished anyways. Now then, to find that hotel and let these guys," he started before being elbowed lightly in the ribs by Jean, "and girls a little breathing room and formally introducing them to you," Ark said before holding the door open and all three of them leaving the Sub Shop.

Tyler was looking forward to officially meeting the rest of Ark's team. That and finally sleeping in a bed after a week on the road. " How far is the hotel?" He asked.

"I think there was a hotel near the gates of the city, in case any trainers had dragon Bishies," Jean supplied.

"Sounds like a plan then. Thanks Jean," He said before mentally going over the amount of money he had left. Between making money by battling and getting commissions, he was in good shape for at least a little while. "What do you think Taylor? Ready to get off the road, for at least a little while?" he asked.

" I am ready . Its going to be great to sleep in a bed instead of on the floor some where. Let me know how I can help." Tyler said.

"Alright then, let's go." He said as they headed towards the hotel that Jean told them about. He had a feeling that Angelus would like to spread her wings outside the village gates while still being within the three mile radius.

Tyler followed Ark toward the hotel. He was glad he had made a new friend today. They talked as they walked down the streets of the city.

Ark was surprised to hear some of the things that interested Tyler. They walked down the streets before seeing the hotel in the distance.

Tyler was glad to learn more of Ark's interests and was happy they had some common ones . " Looks like a nice place. Let me know if I can help you. I want to do something to thank you for all you have done for me." He said as they entered.

"Agreed. It's not bad for a hotel," he said after closing the door, shaking his head lightly to get bad images of the past out of his head when he said it. "Anyways, I made a promise earlier, didn't I?" He asked.

" Yes you did . " Tyler said ." Ready to check in?"
