" I'm sorry about your mom. My mom died a few years ago."Eve said feeling sad. She rarely heard from her dad since her mom had died. She got the things she would need out and the pot she would need." Would you like to cut the chicken up? I usually cook it in the soup." Eve said.

"I'm sorry to hear that Eve," Carly replied lightly before agreeing to cut the chicken for her. As she was cutting the chicken, she asked if Eve had tried reconnecting with her father.

" I've tried, but he's just too busy I guess. He always has a meeting or a trip he's going to take." Eve said sadly as she cut up the onions.

"What about other members? Perhaps they could ask him for you?" She asked as she finished cutting the chicken.

" I could. I do want to talk to him again. " Eve said as she put the onions in the pot and started to open some cans of sauce and beans.

"Do you mind if I ask if you have any other family members Eve?" Carly asked as she handed her the chicken.

" Sure. I have a brother. We don't talk. He wasn't happy I joined the scientists , even when I tried to explain I didn't have a choice. He's the only one that my dad will talk to really. " Eve said sadly as she put the chicken in and mixed the soup together. She then added a little taco seasoning , not wanting it to be too spicy.

Carly winced lightly at what Eve said, not believing that her brother cut all ties off with her and said as such. She couldn't see her sister cutting all ties off with her...

Eve hoped that she could restore the family ties that had been broken knowing that there had to be some chance. " Sorry about telling you. The only other person who who knows is Gina. " She said.

"You don't have to apologize Eve. I'm glad that you trust me well enough to tell me this," Carly said with a small smile. "Is there anything else I can do to help?"

" Not really. The soup needs to cook, but before we serve it, we need to get the toppings ready. " Eve said.

"Toppings?" Carly asked.

" Sour cream, lettuce, tomato, taco chips and cheese, though I usally put them in bowls so everyone can choose what they want on top." Eve explained.

"It sounds good," Carly said, glad that she was able to help.

"It is good .I hope you and the others like it." Eve said.

"I hope so too," Carly said, hoping that the soup would be done soon.

Eve was glad that the soup only took 45 minutes to cook and hoped every one liked it. " In a little bit I will finish up , but I want to sit a little bit. " She said.

Carly nodded in understanding, knowing that cooking could be straneus.

Eve sat and closed her eyes for a little bit. She had just taken a nap but knew she was tired because of the dreams. They were flashbacks of when she was with the scientists and she didn't want to be reminded about that time.

Carly was surprised to see that Eve had taken a small nap as soon as she closed her eyes. 'I hope nothing is wrong...' Carly thought to herself, making a note to ask her if everything was okay when she woke up.

Eve was glad she wasn't dreaming while she was resting. She had been feeling like someone was punishing her for working with the scientists, when now she was working against them. She hoped that who ever was sending the dreams knew she was sorry for being with the wrong people.

Yugito slowly opened the door to Ark's room, checking to make sure her trainer was resting. She closed the door lightly and turned around, seeing Jean watching her. "I just wanted to check up on him," Yugito said, frowning lightly as Jean giggled lightly.

Carly kept one eye on the soup, and one eye on Eve as she let the ex-scientist continue sleeping.

Eve found herself in a field of flowers and finally felt at peace. She wondered where she was. Eve remembered the stories of the Greek gods and how they sometimes spoke to the mortals to test if they were truthful. She wondered if this was her chance to prove herself.

"Evelyn Summers, do you know who I am?" Morpheus asked as he walked along the plane of flowers, barely in the vision of the girl for the first few minutes. Soon though, he knew that the girl would be able to see him.

" I do. I know you are Morpheus the god of dreams. " Eve said seeing him clearer now. She felt a little nervous but knew she needed to keep calm.
