Gina sat down in one of the chairs and looked around. " This is a nice place. " She said to Kushina.

"It is," Kushina replied.

"Simon?" Eve asked as she made her way out onto the roof.

" Is Gina here?" Simon replied, feeling a bit out of breath. He took a drink of water and hoped that helped him cool down a bit.

"She is. Are you okay?" Eve asked.

" I'm fine. I think I over worked myself a little bit too much." Simon stated and was feeling better since he had the water.

"Alright. Just be careful, okay?" She asked.

" I will." Simon said with a smile and went down to greet Gina." Glad you made it." He said to Gina and gave a smile.

Gina returned the smile with one of her own. "Thank you," she responded.

" Want to see what I have planned for the gym? It's been abandoned for a few years and needs a lot of work." Simon said as he went to get the plans.

"Sure," Gina responded.

" So here is what I have so far. I don't have many trainers to ask, since the ones that were there before have left and refuse to come back." Simon said as he laid out the plans.

"Why don't they want to come back?" She asked, annoyed at the idea. As she looked over his plans, she had to admit that the plans he had looked good.

" They don't think I'm suitable for the job. No one has heard form the old leader in a while. Someone said that he retired for good and is living in a far off town. " Simon said feeling like a failure. He needed as much help as he could get.

"Have they even given you a chance to prove yourself?" she asked with a tone of annoyance. She knew that people didn't enjoy change, but that didn't give them the right to determine if he was worthy or not.

" They haven't. I've invited them to have that chance , but I don't know how many will show up. " Simon said and hoped he had that chance.

Gina nodded at that, knowing it was the best that he could do given the circumstances.

" I hope you trust me as the leader. I know Micheal and the others here trust me. " Simon replied. He was going to work very hard to prove that he could be leader.

"You helped Alex take care of the threats in this town when you didn't have to. That would have been enough to give you a chance, but then you kept Eve safe. After that, I'd trust you with almost anything," Gina said.

Simon smiled. " Thank you. That means a lot to me. Would you like to be one of the trainers at the gym? I know with your expertise in computers we will be able to fill up the spots we need to begin. " He said and hoped she said she would join.

"Are you sure you want me for a trainer Simon? It's been a while since I've had Kushina fight in battles," she admitted.

" I am sure. I know Renamon would be more than willing to train with Kushina and I'm sure one of Michael's Bishies would too. I'm still not sure who he has on his team" Simon said feeling a bit overwhelmed.

"Alright, then I'll take you up on that offer," Gina said with a smile. "So as my boss...can I get a pay advance?" she asked teasingly.

" You can if you would like . It won't be much at first, but as things progress, I know that I can pay you guys more." Simon said with a grin.

"I was just teasing Simon," Gina said as she waved it off, showing that she meant nothing by it.

" Oh. Sorry about that. " Simon replied and blushed a bit. " Anything else you would like to know ?" He asked a little later.
