Max chuckled lightly before saying, "I think today of all days I'm allowed. The first night that I don't have to worry about those chasers or that damn School." She couldn't help but be happy, and it was all thanks to their friends.

" Same for me. I haven't slept that good in years. " Carly said.Ever since her mom went missing,Carly often had terrible nightmares. Last night was the first time in a long time she had not dreamed that way.

"No nightmares?" Max asked. If that was the case, then she was glad for her friend especially since she remembered times when she had to wake Carly up from some of the worse ones.

" No nightmares. It's been so long since I've had a peaceful sleep like that. " Carly said, wondering if it was Morpheus. For some reason she wanted to meet him but shook the idea from her head. She would think about it later when she saw her sister later. " What sounds good for breakfast?" She asked.

"Not sure. I just woke up myself after all," the avian said.

" How about waffles. There does seem to be some Bisquick here in the cupboard." Carly said as she was looking around the kitchen.

"That works, and this time I'll make sure no feathers get in the batter," Max replied, chuckling lightly at that particular memory.

Carly laughed. " Okay." She got the other ingredients out and started to mix the batter up. " Max can you get the waffle iron out? I think it's in the cupboard to the top left of the stove. " Carly said.

"Sure," Max replied as she got the item out for Carly and put it next to her.

Carly plugged it in and waited for it to warm up. " I hope the others are awake. I know Tracy want to meet with us around 10 this morning , but I wonder what about. " Carly said and spooned the batter on the hot iron.

"Probably about the events of what happened in the battle?" Max suggested before shrugging lightly, truthfully unsure as to what Tracy wanted to ask of everyone. "I just hope I don't offend Daniel by accident. Old habits and all that," she said before hearing a door open. Wondering who it was, she went off to investigate.

One of the staff of the guest apartments was making sure that everything was working properly for the gusts." Oh!" He said in surprise. " I thought you had left already." He added quickly.

"It's alright. It was just a simple mistake," Max replied, not caring all that much since she knew he didn't mean anything by it.

" Okay. I'm done for now." He said and went out the service entrance.

" Who was that?" Carly asked as she took another waffle off the iron and put it on a nearby plate.

"No one important," Max said as she closed the door and went back into the kitchen. "Do you want me to see if the others are awake or just let them sleep?" She asked.

" Let them sleep. They'll come in when they are ready for breakfast. " Carly said. She would start making more once the others arrived.

"Alright," Max said with a nod, knowing that everyone could use their sleep. She was surprised that Jean wasn't up either, knowing that she was an early riser.

" Are we ready to head to where Carly and Max are?" Eve asked Kirito and Salem. She was feeling hungry and hoped Carly made something good for breakfast.

They both nodded as they stretched, Kirito chuckling as Salem took a quick kiss from Eve.

Eve smiled. She was happy that she and Salem were together and that Kirito was getting stronger. She just wanted to know if she was doing the trainer thing right and hoped Deanna could help. " I wonder what Carly is making for breakfast today?" She asked as she waited.

(Gomen, just woke up from a nap. Was tired)

"Good question. Let's go find out..." Salem replied with a small chuckle. He was glad that they could easily relax now

( okay. I've been napping too. Allergies are terrible to have. )

Eve knocked on Carly's door and could smell something wonderful. She liked Carly's cooking very much.

Taylor was in the shower and hoped he wasn't late for breakfast. He needed the sleep, but he still didn't like being late for a meal.

Max heard someone knocking on the door. Having a feeling that it was one of their friends, she went over to open it. Seeing Eve, Salem and Kirito, she greeted them all with a good morning.

" Good morning to you Max. What smells so good ?" Eve asked as she and the others entered.

"Carly is making some waffles for everyone," Max said.
