" I hope she did too. I know Sakura had nightmares last night. " Deanna said.

"She's mastered all of her cards, right? If so...it might be a good idea for her to use the Sleep or Dream Cards before going to bed," Alex said.

Jean tossed and turned in her sleep before waking up suddenly, sitting up with a silent scream on her face. As her surroundings came back to her, she started calming down. "Only a dream...it was only a dream," she muttered before moaning lightly at seeing what time it was.

" She has. I'll let her know to use those cards. I hate to see her and Thalia like that. " Deanna said.

"I'd hate to see them try kidnapping Thalia," Alex replied with a small chuckle. He remembered what the Greek Gods did to all of the scientists because they had brought Zeus' daughter into their battle unwillingly.

"I think that kidnapper would soon regret it. " Deanna said with a grin. She knew Thalia had a good relationship with most of her family and Deanna had promised them that she would keep Thalia safe.

"Him or her most of all," he said with a grin before seeing Jean coming out of the door. Alex frowned lightly as he saw her disheveled form. "Jean...you alright?" he asked.

Deanna went back to her room to see if the girls were awake yet. She hoped they were since she was hungry.

Thalia shook Sakura's shoulder lightly, seeing that the younger girl was having a bad dream. "Sakura...wake up," she said as she continuously tried waking Sakura from her nightmare.

" Huh?" Oh Thalia it's you. Is it morning yet?" Sakura said. She didn't want to talk about the nightmares she had that night.

Thalia nodded. "Morning little one," she said with a light grin on her face. "Do you want to talk about it?" she asked. While Thalia had woken Sakura up, she wouldn't force the young woman to talk about the nightmares.

" I do." Sakura said . "I dreamed I was being chased by that trainer who tried to capture me yesterday. I kept running but he always seemed to be able to catch me." She said and started to cry.

Thalia pulled Sakura into a hug. "We wouldn't let anything happen to you Sakura," she said softly, hoping to sooth her little sister.

Sakura relaxed and smiled. " Thank you Thalia. I'm happy you are my sister. " She said with a small smile on her face.

"You're welcome," Thalia said, a light smile on her face at being called sister. "Now then, why don't we see if your teacher is around? I'm sure he can help," she teased.

(oh? Been trying to catch up on the Temeraire series myself, since the new book is coming out tomorrow)

"I think she let us sleep in," Thalia replied to Sakura's question.

"I'll be fine Alex, though thanks for the concern," Jean said before yawning lightly. While it was obviously that she didn't sleep well, she didn't want to worry Alex after everything that he did for her and the others.

( is that a good series? I've been reading The Immortal Life of Hennietta Lacks. It is about a woman who died in the 1950's but some of her cells are still used in research today. I'm not much of a nonfiction reader but I think I might read it more often. )

Deanna knocked on the door since she heard talking. " Are you awake sleepy heads?" Deanna asked.

(Temeraire is historical fiction. It's during the Napolean Wars era but there are also the "Aviation Corps" who have a crew and are captains. Their "ship" is a dragon. Regal Coppers (Muscle), Longwings (only take females) Anglewings (speedsters) and there are also the rare Imperials, Celestials and other various dragons)

"We're awake," Thalia said through the door, hearing Deanna's voice on the other side of it.

" Ready for breakfast ?" Deanna asked and was happy Elisa had made it today.

Both females nodded quickly, ravenous after the battle they had before. "You know...I think we should come up with a name for that three-way attack we did yesterday," Thalia said as she mused lightly.

" We should!" Sakura said as they headed to the dining room.

" Are we ready for food?" Carly asked Max. She was feeling nervous and hoped Alex didn't regent her.

Thalia chuckled lightly at Sakura's enthusiasm and glad that she wasn't affected by her nightmares from last night.

"Food sounds like a good idea," Max said, blushing lightly as he stomach growled lightly.

" Ready to go Sora ?" Taylor asked. He was looking forward to seeing what Elisa could cook and also wished she would come with them. He knew that someday he would meet the right girl but doubted that day would ever come.

"Just a second," Sora said as he slipped on one of shoes and grabbed his keychain necklace. "Okay, I'm ready," he said with his usual grin.

" We need to be careful. I don't want to lose you. " Taylor said thinking about what almost happened to Sakura.

Salem transfered the information his contact had sent him and hoped that this would help Carly and Deanna's mom. He felt somewhat responsible since he had once been a scientist.
