"That's terrible..." Lynn said, aghast at what the Scientists had done in the past, though she knew that Salem was no longer part of it, neither was Eve. However, she wondered if her father could have been given the same treatment as Carly and Deanna's mother.

" You okay Lynn?" Salem asked having a feeling something was bothering her.

"My father went missing five years ago, and I'm just wondering if this happened to him as well..." Lynn said.

" It's possible. No one knows how many people have been affected by those devices. " Salem said.

Lynn sighed lightly. "I'll probably never know then..." she said softly. It had been ages since she had last saw him and knew that he could be anywhere by now.

" You never know. Carly and I didn't ever think we would find our mom. " Deanna said.

"Actually...there might be a way. Since they've shut down the facilities, I may be able to get a list of people who've been brainwashed like this, if he has been brainwashed that is," Eve said, thinking that Gina could help her out.

" Do you think Gina might be able to help us?" Salem asked hoping she could.

"That's what I was thinking," Eve said, planning to call her friend later tonight. "Gina's an old friend of mine that's also a hacker. I'm hoping that there's something we can use to help you," Eve explained.

" I hope so. " Lynn said and heard a buzzer. " Food is ready. Just relax a bit and I'll get you all something to eat. " She said.

"Do you want any help?" Elisa asked.

" Sure. " Lynn said with a smile. She was glad Elisa was here and had a lot of catching up to do.

Elisa nodded and followed Lynne into the kitchen. Taylor had wanted to go as well, but figured that it would be better if the two friends had time alone to talk.

" So how long have you run the inn by yourself?" Eve asked since she hadn't seen Lynn's mom anywhere.

"For three years now. My mom was killed in the forest by some sort of monster, though they have no idea what it was exactly," Lynn replied. "It doesn't bother me now though and while I will miss her, I know she would want me to continue running the inn here," she added after a few seconds.

" Monster? Not a Bishie right?" Elisa asked feeling confused. From what she knew, monsters didn't exist in regions with Bishies.

"The officials said there were wolf prints everywhere. Other than that, there was nothing," Lynn replied, having the same thoughts that Elisa was having now.

" Sounds like Erasers. " Elisa said since she had read an article on a major battle involving those creatures.

"Erasers?" Lynn asked. She thought that Alex and the others got rid of all of them.

" It could have been. Someone back home said that not all of them had been killed or reformed. Almost like they had created their own faction. " Elisa said.

"I hope they don't try invading the village then..." Lynn said, knowing that not everyone in the village had a Bishie to help them.

" I hope they don't either. " Elisa said. " What did you make for dinner?" She asked knowing that Lynn's mom had taught her daughter how to cook.

"A little bit of everything to be honest. I went hunting a few days ago and was able to catch a few things. I was cooking most of it and then I was going to store it for the week," Lynn replied. She didn't go far from the perimeter of the village, but before her father had disappeared, she had been taught just about everything about hunting and gathering.

" Really? It all smells really good. " Elisa said and remembered her friend liked hunting. Elisa wasn't much of an outdoor person since she had always helped her mom with the inn.

"Thanks, though I don't think my cooking can compare to your mother's," Lynn replied.
