Alex patted Angelus' side lightly. "You did good Angel-chan, rest now," he said before hearing Tracy's voice. Wincing lightly, he turned towards his girlfriend. "Carly...can you explain what's going on, please?" he asked.

" I can. " Carly said and explained to Tracy how she met Artunia and that her bishie was an Eraser. " Also she's dying and has very little time left. She told me that she helped the Dragon Council many years ago but doesn't remember what she did. " She added hoping they still had time.

Tracy listened to Carly explain the situation before nodding in understanding. Once Eragon returned with the medic, she quickly asked him to get the Dragon Council together. All she would say that it was a matter of life or death.

" I don't know how long she has. It was 4 hours ago that she started to cough blood and was fading fast. I don't want to lose her." She said hoping that the Council would help them.

"Eragon and Saphira have good sway with the Council. If anyone can get them to gather quickly, it's him," Tracy said. "We won't let Artunia die Carly."

Carly nodded. " I'll owe you a favor after this." Carly said and would be willing to do the same thing if Tracy needed her help.

"You don't have to, but thanks," Tracy said before seeing Eragon heading back towards them.

" The medics are coming. " Eragon said and asked what was wrong.

Tracy explained the situation to Eragon and then asked him to get the Dragon Council. They were the only ones who could help Carly and her bishie now.

" I'll take Saphira with me. I have a feeling they aren't talking to much of anyone these days. " Eragon said and went to get Saphira.

"Why is that?" Carly asked, fearing that they wouldn't listen to her request of saving Artunia.

" Mostly because of internal conflicts. Saphira says that happens every so often ,but they do get resolved." Tracy said.

"Alright..." Carly said, hoping that their internal conflicts wouldn't stop them from saving her Bishie and friend. "It's not going to stop them from saving Artie, is it?" she asked.

" They won't." Tracy said." We should get going since the gates to the Dragon City will be open soon. They have be generous and letting people visit their city." She added.

Carly nodded before looking back at Alex and him taking care of Angelus with the help of the medic. "That's good," Carly said with a soft smile.

( Movie version. Don't really care for Demi's version for some reason.)

" Really. But we should hurry ." Tracy said and walked a little faster. She didn't want Carly to lose a Bishie.

Carly nodded and sped up, knowing that time was of the essence.

( I'm impressed with how good the movie version is. Usually it's the official version that's the best. )

" Eragon and Saphira should be already here. Do you know what Artunia did to help the council?" Tracy asked Carly.

Carly shook her head head in the negative. "I don't know, and neither does she," Carly admitted.

"I'm hoping the council does then. " Tracy said as they entered the gates of the Dragon City.

"Me too," Carly said. She was curious as to what the Eraser did in the past to help the Council of Dragons. Entering the City, she just hoped that they could heal Artunia like they did with Daniel.

" Hey you two. " Eragon said. " Saphira is with the dragons and the council is ready to see you. They do know who Artunia is. " He added.

"That's good," Carly said with a soft sigh, debating if she should let Artunia out now or wait until they were in the council room.
