Alex smiled at the idea, only because of the complete irony of it. "Certainly," Alex replied with a small grin.

" Wonderful! Report to me any time you get information on the Rebels and I promise to compensate you for you work."

Alex nodded. "Alright, I'll let you know if I hear anything else from them."

Max and Sora got out of the basement and met Rikku in the alley way." We got in alright, but it was a close call getting out." Max said trying to catch her breath.

Rikku understood that it would be hard to leave their trainers and sympathized with them, but they had to. "I had to deal with a couple guards but a few sleep darts and they were no longer the wiser. What did they say?" She asked out of curiosity.

" Our trainers were glad for the letter . The guards were discussing something about the Rebels , but Sora and I got out of there before we heard anything else.

"I could wake one up for you if you want. I'm not a great interrogator but if you are..." she said, offering her services for tying someone up and letting either Max or Sora have her or his way with them.

" No . It will be fine . I think it was on how could the Rebels get away with attacking the gym." Max said .

"Alright, as long as you're sure," Rikku said before putting the wire back into one of her pouches, but keeping it in easy reach just in case she needed to use it. "We should probably get going though. As much as I like pranking guards I'd rather not get caught," the young Al-Bhed said.

" Sounds good to me." Mac said and Sora nodded .

Alex left the gym with a small grin on his face before he saw Rikku, Sora and Max coming out of the alley way.

Taylor finished reading the letter and handed it to Michael. He didn't read it a loud due to the guards being really jumpy today .

Alex opened the door to his hotel apartment and closed the door once all four had entered. He grinned as he realized that the first part of his plan had gone off without a hitch. Now all he had to do was wait until the opportunity came up so that he could free his friends and then hopefully put someone else in the position of power to rule this town fairly. He didn't want to do it, but he thought he had to take care of the Black Dragon as well...especially if he thought the dragon was Shurikan: one of the evilest dragons that he knew about.

"Alex?" Jean asked after she saw him place a hand over his forehead and listened as he explained about Shurikan, the evilest black dragon in existence. She just hoped that if there was a dragon council, or anything similar, that they would spare her trainer for what he had to do.

Carly was glad to have seen Max, even if it was for only a few minutes and knew that she felt sad for having to leave her there. She felt sad as well for having to be separated from her avian friend again, but knew that it was necessary. It was good to see that Alex was treating both Max and Sora well though, even though she had a feeling that he would.

Taylor was glad Sora was doing well and knew he had gotten stronger. He was to help get everyone here ready for the day they would all get out of this hell hole.

Carly was happy to see Max and see that it looked as if she improved herself. She made a mental note to thank Alex for buying the coat for her friend and Bishie.

Tracy was glad to hear Saphira was doing well while she was in here. She was glad that Bryce didn't get a hold of her dragon.

Alex headed towards the pens that housed both Angelus and Saphira. Stepping inside, he dodged a stream of fire and several fireballs at once. Once they stopped, Alex was sweating lightly. "Guess I deserve that...would you two buy the excuse that I've been a little bit on the busy side?" he asked as he dodged yet another salvo from the two female dragons. "Guess not," he muttered to himself as he continued to dodge. "I'm sorry I forgot about you two, alright? It won't happen again, I promise you two that."

"Pray that it doesn't Alex, for you won't like my anger to deepen any further" Angelus said as Saphira nodded.

"Honest, it won't happen again," he said as he noticed a few patches of dirt underneath Angelus' scales and offered to clean her.

" How is Tracy?" Saphira asked concerned. She was worried that her trainer had been hurt or worse by Bryce and his minons.

"She hasn't come to any harm, at least none that I saw," Alex answered truthfully. "But I am surprised that the Black Dragon Bryce has allowed you and Tracy to live here," he continued on, knowing that the azure dragon would not like the answer.

" He won't hurt us while we are in the city. He's not stupid to break that part of the code. But unfortunately he has violated others ." Saphira said mentioning the code that the city followed to protect dragons.

"Others?" Alex asked, curious about this code that Bryce mentioned as well as Sarah and now Saphira. Sara was able to give him some information, but it wasn't enough.

" Yes others. He violated the sacred resting place and used the bones for decoration . He also allowed the guards to search for the sacred nests. They'll never find those though . The library has a book that lists all the codes and laws . They even have a copy of the treaty ." Saphira said .

Alex pondered about it and decided to ask Bryce about the book and see if he could borrow it. He would have to word it so he was just curious with the culture in the village. "I'll ask about it the next time I see...him," Alex said, all three members knowing just who Alex was talking about.

" The more you know about this town, the better chance you have beating Bryce." Saphira informed . She didn't want this chaos to continue any longer.

"I agree. The sooner we're out of here, the better. Although I do have two questions Saphira, if I may ask them," Alex said as he waited for her response.
