Alex and the others followed Matt, while Angelus stayed out in the field for the time being. She was curious about this Kilgarah creature and wanted to meet up with him/her. Yugito and Zero also opted to stay out, wanting to take in the new sights.

" This looks like a wonderful place. " Eve said to Salem, who seemed tense.

" Not really. " Salem said and had a bad feeling that his father was in this city.

"Salem?" Eve asked, concerned for her boyfriend.

" I'm concerned that my father is here. " Salem said and hoped that he was wrong.

"Think we should let the others know?" Eve asked.

"I think we should.I might be wrong but better safe than sorry."Salem said.

"We'll let them know once we get to wherever Matt is taking us then," Eve said with a nod. She knew that it was probably just nerves after finding out your boyfriend's father, who was completely evil, was still alive.

"Come on you lovebirds, or we're gonna leave you in the dust!" Rikku said as Alex just shook his head lightly, not surprised that Rikku came out of her ball like that.

Eve laughed and hoped that Matt would believe them. She would hate it if he turned out to be an enemy.

Salem just shook his head at that before both he and Eve closed the gap between their friends and themselves. He silently hoped that their new ally would be able to help them rather than hinder them.

" Here we are. " Matt said once they arrived at a multistory building. " Dinner should be ready and so should the rooms. " Matt said.

"Thank you," was all that Alex could say to the hospitality that they were being provided with.

" Not sure what Hettie is cooking but I'm sure it is great. " Matt said.

"Hettie?" Carly asked.

" She's my aunt. Was the head gym leader here but let me take over last her so she could retire. Though she still likes to cook for our guests. " Matt said.

"Ah," was all that she replied.

" Do you do matches?" Carly asked wondering if Matt did duels.

"We do not do any official matches actually, since I'm technically a Bishie and Bishies cannot run any gyms. However, matches for sparring are alright" Matt responded.

" Sparing is always fun. " Taylor said.

"You trainers spar?" Matt asked surprised, having never heard of that before. He heard that trainers usually had their bishies do the fighting for them...

" We do. From time to time. " Salem said thinking of the battles they had fought in.

"Interesting," he admitted.

" Maybe it is. It just seems we spar a bit too much. " Carly said.

"That isn't necessary a bad thing though," Eve said as she added her own thoughts to the conversation.
