Max thanked Nita and then got her coat on .

Nita waited for Max by the door. Once she was ready, she and Max headed out and towards the library. Alex knew he'd have to tell Bryce about the dragon council sooner or later, especially with all the commotion in the sky that went on. Turning to the rest of them, Alex said that he was going on a walk and probably find a good place to sketch for a while.

Max was going to look for some books on the town hoping to find some answers .

Nita wondered if she could find some books on the history of this town and how Bryce got into power.

Sora decided to lay back down, but hoped he could do some training today .

Rikku smirked a little at the idea of having a free day to herself. It was tempting to see what mischief she could create while Alex was out, but knew that it wasn't worth it. The Al-bhed girl knew that he would be disappointed in her if she tried...plus Zero was keeping a trained eye on her, just in case.

Max looked at the card catalog and looked for books on the town . She hoped to find out why there was an underground city.

Nita browsed through the library when they got there, not exactly sure what she wanted to read specifically. It would be funny if something snagged my hand like my Wizard's book she thought to herself.

Max found a book that looked interesting. It told of the early history and listed the different laws of the town." Nita. Look at this." Max said . She knew Alex would want to see this.

Nita heard Max call her name and headed to where her avian friend was standing with a book in her hand. Hearing Max say to look at the book, she saw the title and instantly knew that Alex would enjoy reading the book. "Thanks for finding this Max, I think Alex will love this book," she said.

" I'm not sure sure if we can check this out though. I'll try though." Max said.

"Alright," Nita said as she hoped that Max could check the book out.

Max took the book to the counter and was able to check the book out on a temporary pass. " I have the book . " She said when she finished .

Nita grinned lightly and thanked Max for helping her and Alex out.

" Your welcome. I want to help as much as I can." Max said .

"Alex would probably say that you don't have to help us," Nita said softly

Max nodded ." Ready to head back?" She asked .

Nita nodded. While it was fun to enjoy the village or town, depending on how you looked at it, she knew that they were both risking a lot by being out in the open. She knew that the risk was slim, which was why it didn't bother her, but it was still there all the same.

" It seems really busy considering there are more guards out." Max said in a low voice.

"Agreed. You don't think they're onto us?" She asked in the same low tone, referring to herself, Alex and everyone else.

" I don't think so . They look to be concerned with the dragons that are flying about ." Max said in a low voice .

"We should probably warn Angelus and Saphira, just in case," Nita said, worried for her draconian friend

" Sounds like a good idea to me." Max said .

(kk. I just got to where they were talking about the Vault of Souls and was curious if you are reading it or not since I don't want to spoil it for you (unless you like spoilers like myself))

"Alright then, let's go," she said, heading to where both Angelus and Saphira were.

Saphira perked her head up when she sensed people coming . " Angelus , I think we have company."
