" I understand. As long as I can see Tracy again , being in my bishiball won't be a problem for me. " She said in an equally low voice.

"Alright. I'm pretty sure that the same will apply to you as well Angel-chan," Alex said. Continuing on, "I have a feeling that the first person Bryce will come looking for will be me. And I don't think he'll be happy..." he said with a small mischievous grin on his face. He already had an idea of what Kit, Nita and Rikku could come up with, if Bryce was looking for him...

" I don't think he will either , but it's what Bryce deserves after all the evil he has done." Saphira said quietly .

Alex winced lightly noticing that he most likely brought up some bad memories for Saphira and apologized for his thoughtlessness.

" It's alright Alex. " She said kindly, noticing the look on his face.

"Are you sure?" He asked out of reflex.

"It is. Don't be so hard on yourself. " She said and would be glad to be with Tracy again.

Alex nodded lightly. "As long as you're sure," he said lightly.

" I am." Saphira said, while keeping an eye on the guards near the entrance.

"Alright," Alex said, noticing the guards near the entrance as well. "Have they been treating you two well?" He asked

" For the most part. " Saphira said, not mentioning the times she had been taunted by the guards.

Alex raised an eyebrow at that, knowing that she wasn't telling him something, but didn't pry, respecting her privacy. He then started to talk about random things with both Angelus and Saphira.

Saphira was glad he didn't ask what was bothering her. It was hard enough to think about those cruel words. She liked the random talking , since it helped her relax.

Alex noticed that the random topics were helping Saphira relax and for that he was glad. He had a feeling that it had something to do with the guards, but he couldn't know for sure and he didn't want to ask Angelus, especially since that would be the same as Angelus betraying Saphira's trust. He continued talking for a little while longer, especially since times like these were rare and would be even rarer in the coming days.

Saphira knew she would be needed to help fight Bryce. She hoped that she would be able to let the Council know when things were better. They would have to choose a new Gym leader once Bryce was ousted. She knew the fight would be difficult.

Alex was starting to get tired and yawned lightly. Knowing that it was probably already dark, he wondered if it was alright for him to sleep with Angelus, if she didn't mind that is. He hated to ask the guards if it would be okay, but he knew he had to do so...unless Angelus or Saphira knew it was okay.

" Are you alright Alex. " Saphira asked noticing he looked tired.

"I'm just a little tired. I guess I lost track of time while we were talking," Alex said, hiding a yawn behind one of his hands.

" I'm glad you came to visit us tonight.I enjoyed the chance to relax a little bit. " She said.

"I'm glad that I could help Saphira," Alex said as Angelus looked at him with concern. She knew that it was dark outside and risky for anyone to be out at that time of night.

"Alex...perhaps you should stay here for tonight. The guards usually don't mind as long as you're next to your dragon and don't make too much of a fuss," Angelus said in a concerned tone.

" It would be safer here than on the streets. From what I've heard, people have been going missing. " Saphira said with concern, not sure if those rumors were true.

"Really?" Alex asked in surprise, wondering if those rumors were true or not. Not wanting to find out about it, he nodded, saying that they were probably right.

"Its only what I heard some of the guards saying this morning, though it could be them trying to spread false information. " Saphira said.

"It's possible, but I'd rather err on the side of caution," Alex said before heading off to talk to the guards about staying with Angelus and Saphira for the night.

" Is there anything I can help you with?" The Guard asked.
