Alex explained the situation to the guard and what Angelus told him about being able to stay here.

" You can stay here for the night. " The guard said giving Alex permission to.

"Thank you," Alex said before heading back to Angelus and Saphira. Noticing that Saphira was already asleep, he sat down next to Angelus and made himself comfortable next to his friend. Whispering lightly, he asked if there was anything he could do to help Saphira.

" I'm all set. " Saphira said as she got comfortable.

Alex nodded as he got comfortable against both dragons and slowly fell asleep. Before falling asleep herself, Angelus settled one wing over Alex's body, making it act like a blanket for her trainer.

Saphira closed her eyes and fell asleep quickly.

Alex slept soundly throughout the night and woke up in the morning. Seeing that Angelus and Saphira were still sleeping, he made himself comfortable before starting to think of who could take over the Gym once they ousted Bryce. He thought Tracy would be a good choice, but he had a feeling that both she and Saphira would want to continue traveling with them. He then thought about Lena and how she would be a good leader for the village.

Saphira woke up well rested and looked to see that the young dragons had calmed down. She was relived that they had , but still wondered what had caused them to be jumpy last night.

Alex saw Saphira wake up. "Morning Saphira," Alex said quietly as he noticed that Angelus was still sleeping. "Did you sleep well?" he then asked the sapphire dragon.

" I did. Thank you. Did you sleep well?" Saphira asked.

"I did. Thank you for asking," Alex said as he got out his Bishiedex to see what time it was. Seeing that it was still early in the morning, he figured that he would stay for a little while longer. "Saph-chan," he started, judging her reaction at the nickname for her before continuing his question, "you don't have to answer if you don't want to, but are the guards bothering you?"

She nodded sadly . She hated that they were taunting her because of Tracy , but knew she couldn't retaliate when they did .

Making sure that the guards weren't around when he said this, he told Saphira that he'd let Tracy know about this. If she wanted help then he would gladly give her any assistance that was needed.

Saphira solemnly nodded. "I will let you know if it continues. "She said in a low whisper.

"Thank you. Is Angel-chan at least helping you deal with them?" He asked the sapphire dragon. If she hadn't, then he and Angelus would have words...and none of them would be pretty.

" She has been a good friend during this time. I wouldn't be able to deal with how I feel , without her kind words. " Saphira said.

"I'm glad you feel that way," Angelus said as she woke up.

" I hope you slept well last night. " Saphira said to her friend.

"I did, knowing that my trainer was safe," Angelus said lightly, causing Alex to chuckle lightly and shake his head.

" I'm glad you did sleep well. " Saphira said with a smile.

"Thank you. What about you Alex?" Angelus asked as he responded that he slept pretty well himself, but it was time for him to get up and voiced it as such.

Saphira saw the guards coming to let the dragons out for breakfast. She surely hoped they wouldn't insult her while Alex was here.

Alex saw the guards as well and felt both dragons tense up as the guards got closer. He hoped that they weren't stupid enough to harass Saphira while he was around.

" Are you two ready for breakfast?" The guard asked when he arrived at Saphria's and Angelus' cages. He didn't want Alex to know about the taunting, knowing he and the others would get in trouble again.

Alex watched the scene as the guards gave both Saphira and Angelus their breakfast.
