The Elder dragons came out of the council room ready to let the others know what there decision was.

Lena hoped they picked a good leader. She knew the town needed one to help rebuild what had been destroyed.

"First, we want to apologize to all of you gathered here today. When we first picked Bryce Williams as leader, he was a fine young man. However, something along the way made him change from the man we knew into the horrible leader that we have just started hearing about. If we had acted sooner, we would have most likely been able to help you much sooner," the Azure Dragon said for a few minutes. Once he was done talking, another dragon took the stand, her color a dazzling green.

"We have exiled Bryce from this town with his dragon, removing his memories of the time he was leader from here as well as all of his knowledge about this town's existence. While we as Elders may never know what happens to him, it is our hope that he once again becomes a man of greatness. Now, I move on to happier news: us dragons have picked a new leader, one that will hopefully rise from the ashes of Bryce's greed and help bring prosperity to this village once more. Therefore, we name Tracy Barfield and her draconian partner Saphira Brightscales as the new leader. We hope that the both of them will help bring this town back to what it once was." She stepped back into line with the other elder dragons as they overheard the applause and claps.

Lena was glad that they had picked Tracy , knowing her friend would be a great leader.

Alex grinned lightly when he heard the council of dragons name Tracy as the new leader. Even though he knew her for a short time, the trainer knew that his friend would make a good leader.

Carly was glad her friend had been chosen, even though they didn't know each other long. Carly wasn't sure if she and Max would stay in the town or leave . She knew her sister wanted to head toward home though.

Tracy wasn't sure what to think. On the one hand, she was thrilled about being named leader and knew that she could take the town and make it better than what it was before. On the other hand...she felt a little overwhelmed. She needed to know what exactly Bryce did to the town and everything else...she wasn't sure if she could take on all that responsibility...

"Relax Tracy, I know that the both of us together can do this. Plus I'm sure that Lena will hep us. Saphira communicated to her mentally.

" Congrats Tracy on becoming the new leader. I know you will do a great job. " Taylor said with a smile.

"T-thanks," Tracy said with a tinge of a blush on her face from embarrassment. She just hoped that she could do a good job...

" You know I'll be there to help you Trace. "Lena said, with the other trainers at the gym saying they would help too.

"Thanks everyone," Tracy said, glad that everyone was willing to help her with the gym and the town. She searched the room for Alex, wanting to thank him for helping them and making all of this possible.

Cole was glad that things would be fixed, but knew it would take time and effort to fix everything.

Tracy saw the look on Cole's face and nodded lightly to herself, having a feeling that he was thinking on how long it would take to reshape the town. Even with everyone helping her, she wasn't sure if she could do it. She really wanted to talk to Alex and see what he thought about all of this.

Taylor wondered where Alex was, seeing that Tracy was looking for him. But the scene at the council was a busy one and it was hard to move around.

Alex was glad that Tracy was made leader, but knew that it would be better for him to wait until she wasn't being bombarded by people congratulating her. If he realized that she was looking for him, he would have stayed.

Taylor found Sora and went back to the hotel. He was glad that things were normal again and wondered what where they would go next.

Tracy was glad that everything was finally over with. After getting congratulations from just about everyone, she was starting to get tired. Once everyone left, she spotted Alex standing near the door and headed towards him.

Carly and Max headed with Deanna the hotel. They all were tired and wanted to get and early start on the journey.

Alex saw everyone head back to the hotel. He was about to head back himself before he noticed Tracy walking towards him.

" Can I talk to you for a little bit ?" Tracy asked.

"Sure. What's up?" Alex asked, curious as to what Tracy wanted to talk about.

" I just wanted to know what you thought about all that has happened in the last few days." She said.

Ark just scratched the back of his head for a second as he compiled his thoughts. Once he knew what he wanted to say, "Well...I kinda have to thank Bryce for the first place," he started to say before he noticed her raised eyebrow. "If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't have come to this town in the first place. I wouldn't have made friends with you, Carly or Taylor. However, I am glad that he is gone after seeing what he did to this town and its people. Why did you want to ask?"

" Just wondering actually. I'm glad I had the chance to meet you, Carly and Taylor. I'm glad he is gone too, but I'm worried it with take years to get things back in order. " She said.

"The things that last are the things that take time to build," Alex said, quoting a line he read from a long time ago.
